[X] Lead only the Wizards

Changing the vote. If the other wizards are going to be effected like we were in Sylvania, or worse, then I want the time to baby them a bit. Asarnil can handle himself.

[X] Lead only the Wizards

Would they even be able to get out of the way? Because they definitely can't outrun our wagons even if they turn around and run in fron of us until the choke point is over.
The steam wagons are pretty easy to see coming between being very tall/visible and letting off massive exhaust plumes - so most travelling traders are likely to know there's something big coming well before they enter a chokepoint.
by the time the Expedition is on the horizon everyone in Praag seems to know about it. Between the columns of exhaust appearing on the horizon and the steam-wagons themselves becoming visible the walls filled with curious onlookers as news spread through the town.

Who would desert though?
The Slayers... on the return trip, of course.

YES!

We are MOVING!

Riding immense dual-cannoned steel behemoths out of fantasy Russia, into the inhospitable northern wastes.

Good times! :V

[X] Lead the Wizards and Asarnil
For the politics mostly. Interacting with Asarnil can be a challenge to one's patience, and I don't think Borek is suited for it. Taking on responsibility for the knights as well would be overextending, I feel.

There's a lot at stake and it's Mathilde's responsibility to do everything she can to make sure the Expedition is a success. Part of that is making decisions like this, and passing the buck on them is an abrogation of that responsibility.
I understand why you wanted a vote at this post, being a quest and all, but given the significance here isn't it irresponsible of Mathilde to make this significant a decision on the command structure, before she's even met (edit: or perhaps confirmed) the Knightly Order leadership?

I mean, she met them when she went recruiting.

(And had previously met the Ulrican one during the expedition)
Do we know, for sure, that Ruprecht is coming? Last I recall, he was going to try.
Has his attendance been confirmed?
It's not like the whole Orders are attending, the forces might not merit their top leadership.

A bit disappointed with Hubert. This was an excellent opportunity and excuse to expand his grasp on Azyr, and he wasted it by choosing the self-indulgent path of least resistance of bro-ing around with Ulricans while playing with swords.
This is pretty damn condescending. Hubert found what he likes and what he's good at and he's specialising in that area. That is nothing but good. Just because he isn't being a typical blue wizard doesn't justify such arrogant and snotty contempt for his choices.
