I guess we should start writing up those plans for an expedition to Cathay, then?

Incidentally, how long will we be Belegar's Loremaster?

This book will be an amazing boon for anyone going to Cathay, but that just makes me want to let traders read it and maybe copy it for a price, not ever actually go to Cathay personally.

Would anyone ever know?
If you made friends with them, maybe. They wouldn't hide from their friends, right?
More seriously though, K8Ps is going to be rich. Like, especially with the We silk and stuff, having geographical knowledge of Cathay—and thus its trading routes—is disgustingly useful. I wouldn't be surprised if it also contained knowledge of more Eshin bases for us to raid.

So stretch, but maybe it is a 'map' of Cathay trading posts For sea or land trade, and it points to one a lot closer to the old world then people though. Like on a island or in a 'safer' part of the darklands.

that way BoneyM just has to make a town, not a country.

Shouldn't that be 19 diplomacy?
No, 13 is correct. 14 base, one +1 bonus trait, two -1 penalty traits.

Just a really super deep delve on that single trade post. :V

1. Chaos Dwarves
2. Ogres
3. Cathayan Geography
4. Dark Lands & Mountains of Mourn Geography
5. Dark Elves
6. Dragons

Welp.

At this point, by the end of the quest, we'll have a semi-complete setting for Cathay.

Good-ish news are, considering how popular this quest is, this has a semi decent chance of being the standard fanon interpretation of Cathay until the official writers contradict it :p
