Money how lame, that we got more than enough, pity there's no cool war machines or exotic elven stuff just for dwarf reaction since could be planned that 8 peaks would resume trade with Elves after the war.
I really, really want to work with Panoramia again!!
[ ] DUCK: Work with Panoramia for her to finally get around to investigating the greenskin mushrooms she found.

Why is it always the other stuff!

We do have an option to preserve some. The process will only begin once the Oklar leaves so that gives us about 6 turns to pick that new option if we want to.
Oh, ok, that's a relief. I thought the action was available only this turn.

Also, this whole set-up reminds me of Path of Civilizations where we eventually had the Trickster God Crow marry the Fertility Goddess Fythhagyna to solve a voting tie instead of just picking Gwy and Gyo like we should've. A surprisingly common type of couple it seems.
The voting tie was actually about who our first, biggest, and most important temple should be dedicated to, and the solution was to dedicate it to both of them: Fythhagyna gets the bigger statue, while Crow is smaller but above her. And their relationship was that of mentor and student, later co-gods. No relationship besides that outside of maybe some unofficial pottery pornography.

Like, in WHF is it even possible to do the sort of laundering that you'd need to do to sell any substantial amount of those coins without it coming back to bite us in some way?

Wait a minute. We have Nehekharan coins? How long until we're invaded by the Tomb Kings?

Coins stored in a bank from before the undead events are different from the coins buried with them. If for the past three thousand years the tomb kings haven't made an attempt to get the coins back I don't see a reason to believe that would change based on change of ownership.

A: There was a Canon-ish Omake where they were married, so at least some versions of the myths had that element
B: Still should've been Gwy and Gyo in that temple, they deserve it
C: Strictly speaking, the set-up that Mathilde has made in her temple is as official as pottery pornography (and almost was exactly that)

Not sure the exact details of the deaths. And my point remains before, about it being a good example of dwarven flaw.

Super excited. Looking at Old World Armoury, unusual coins can go for massive amounts of money. A gold coin of the pre-Empire tribes goes for quintuple in modern gold; a Tilean talent costs 15 gold; a silver leaf, which is the old elven currency, goes at 250 gold for each one! Old coins go for way more money than their old value or their weight in gold. Honestly this is second-worst thing about the bank cash after the loss of history: it's worth several times more than first appearance suggests, but we're about to melt it all down and annihilate its value.

(I do judge the loss of history to be worse though. These might be the last Tylos coins in existence and we're just erasing them.)

Just saying that my (currently very unpopular) plan is the only one that currently has that option chosen to my knowledge.:V

He ponders that for a while, with an Engineer's natural distaste for declaring anything sufficient. "It would be more secure with flame cannon," he eventually says. "But I can't imagine a frontal assault succeeding against that weight of lead.
Now I am attempting a greater amount of imagination. Keeping to ideas that orc could actually attempt to implement.

Could sufficiently strong orcs carry big Hocking shields to provide cover and allow them to get in close? I mean really big shields.

Next make a pump wagons with a bigger zocking shield on the front and ramming it.

Send a wagon full of explosion stuff.

Could we get our own mountain if we justify it as being owned by Dame Mathilde or Thane Mathilde instead of Magister Mathilde?

Dreng, Marshal of Karak Eight Peaks

< You've killed a lot of more Grobi and Thaggoraki than anyone he's met. He approves.

"Continue with that. The East Gate is going well,
The West Gate?

From Belegar, with a reasonable justification or purpose? As a Boon? I'd expect so.

But it'd be an insane stretch of the old Vow of Poverty. The paper shield of different legal identities holds up until the moment the Bursar decides it doesn't, and it's one Magister, carrying bait, with her head in a noose of her own fishing nets.

Hubert Denzel, Journeyman of the Celestial Order
Armament: Sword and lightning
Speciality: ???
Mission: Glory
Martial: 17 - Eager for battle and skilled with a blade.
Learning: 14 - He's not dumb, but he has no affinity for book learning.
Magic: 3 - Hubert has yet to fully embrace the gift of magic.

Noble: Hubert is from a noble family of Middenheim.
Royal Boon (Minor): For their part in the Karak Eight Peaks campaign, they have earned a boon they have yet to call in.
Swordsman: Hubert is developing a hybrid style of swordplay.
Ulrican: Unusually for a Wizard, Hubert is a devout Ulrican.
I wonder if Hubert is going to use his minor boon to get a sweet sword of his own.

I haven't had time to catch up on the thread, just look at plans, but after the transformation induction will we finally pull a runemaster into the AV research?

thats my plan anyways.

edit:

I see it as a stepping system:
we finish the preliminary testing. :level one

then we start poking things with it runes, powerstones etc: level 2

then we start making things with it. perfect powerstones, staffs, runes etc: level 3

but its important to go in that order so we know as much as we can, and as much as is possible.

skipping ahead is how we miss stuff because we don't have the context to know if something is off.

Probably not. The first few plans had the dwarven magic dampening runes, but the argument was basically to cover all the bases Mathilde could do herself first.
Personally, I think Mathilde will have better luck with a runesmith, the more prior knowledge she can bring.

Added EIC option:
[ ] Sell some of the Grand Urbaz Bank coins to collectors and museums.
Shouldn't there also be an option we should make Belegar aware of instead of trying to profit from it ourselves? Seeing how the stuff won't get smelted for quite a bunch of turns, could we include it in our report if we wanted to?
Just saying that my (currently very unpopular) plan is the only one that currently has that option chosen to my knowledge.:V
Nope. All three of my plans have it as well. I've voted for yours, you could vote for mine if you want.
its also evidence of what Bro-king is doing and could cose problems if someone puts two and two together...
It could always be considered loot from an Orcish hoard or whatever. They famously don't really spend gold. Just brag with it or whatever. On top of that, selling it through us can happen perfectly covert. On the other hand of course, who really needs the extra money?

My position has always been "the time to grab a runelord and get their take on the usefulness of AV for recharging their runes at such time as we can answer their basic questions, like 'what happens if you spill it on a person' and 'how do you make it turn from a liquid into a localized burst of Winds'."

Whether we do it as part of an official project or just yolo swagging through this as a side project, I am pretty sure that next turn would be a reasonable time to pay the favor and get a bit of Kragg's time.
