[X] Plan: Keep Severance Pay, Give everything else
-[X] Give Everything except the Repeater, Discretionary Funds, and Liber Mortis

[X] Plan: Exam Preparation
-[X] Good riddance to Wurtbad; you've got a nice bit of land up in the hills and a commitment to invest in it, and some solitude will do you good. Lock up the Sunken Palace in case you ever need a safehouse in the future.
-[X] Return to Altdorf to face the Magister's tests, and determine what to do with your life later.

@BoneyM do the contents of Abe's study include any reports of how amazingly competent miss weber was and how one would be a fool to throw her away? If not, can we add some?
Also, what was the reaction to our paper among wizards?

It is sadly deficient in glowing reports about you and your abilities. And you're not entirely sure how good an idea it would be to counterfeit letters to a girl from her dead father.
didn't mean letters, more like... journal entries. scribbled reminder notes to abe himself to 'thank weber for being my right hand' or some such. Just a little something something to make rosie regret kicking us to the curb

@bryanfran36
@Jedij4

I formatted the plan to not screw up the tally machine.
@MooseHowl Thanks!

Vote for my plan for following benefits!
  • Minimum risk in anyone finding evidence of anything.
  • Keeps the Damn Book, Rifle, report, and money
  • Getting out of Wurtbad to avoid scaring the count, she is afraid of wizards exploding instead of hating them. But the Watch definitely hates Mathilde for pushing her Ranald agenda.
  • Actually be a wizard, noble, priestess, and business women.
  • A clean break from the Stirland government, no lingering connections for anyone to blame Mathilde for anything.

And since we're inevitably going to keep the Liber Mortis, should we eventually fail in our self-appointed task of keeping Sylvania under control and perish, then the book will be lying around for someone in Sylvania to find and probably set off another Vampire War.

Now, none of the above are complete deal-breakers.
I'd say the last one kinda is a deal-breaker.
It's a separate part to limit splitting.
Problem is, if no one else makes their plans in this format then that's kinda pointless since you can't vote for a different half and hope to win. Also, I bet that that's pa

I'm somewhat baffled by the votes saying that we'd give the new Elector Count her father's library but keep his gun. We related to Abelhelm as a scholar far more than as a warrior, and if we're inclined to keep more things of his to remind us of him and serve useful purposes in our life, his impressive collection of rare books seems like a fantastic choice.

We don't have so much time that we can afford to spend it mastering a second type of mundane ranged weapon, anyway.

Admittedly, "miscellaneous contents of Abelhelm's study" groups his library together with things like personal correspondence that could be actually relevant to rulership, which is somewhat unfortunate. We have a responsibility to hand over Stirland-related things to the new Elector Countess but could likely get away with keeping more personal effects without issue.

Im going for thia just because its a clean break with no loss to investments (aside from Gong Farmers)

Dont forget. What we have right now is a crappy gun of the rank and file variety. Taking the gun is just practical. And KEEPING the library is so tacky and unweildy.

Fair enough, I've merged both parts of the plan into one, since everyone who votes for the one votes for the second anyway.

[X] Plan Reap what you Sow
I'd rather give up the stuff that actually follows the job of spymistress, (Report and info network) but this is alright
If she asks for it she can have it. She hasn't asked so she doesn't get.

That said there are decent odds that the new Spymaster will have access to our network anyway, given the person we hired to run the thing is in the running

On a side note, WTF is with the vote tally? Can it not handle more than one '[] Keep' ?

@VoidZero Can I convince you to give the Gong Farmers and Niter Factory to the EIC instead?

@BoneyM There's some sense to what DarkLight140 says. Can we get a reminder as to what the most important parts of Abelheim's "miscellany" are so that we can split up what we give and what we keep?

Personally I'd like to keep all books but give his trophies and correspondence.

[X] Plan Be the Bigger Witch
-[X] Give
--[X] Report on the past eight years
---[X] Add a note that wishes her well in her position as Elector Countess and our willingness to remain in correspondence by letter, so we could provide some advice.
--[X] The Runefang of Stirland
--[X] Information Network
---[X] Give Julia our full blessing (and recommendation, if Julia wants it) to go for Spymaster.
--[X] Abelhelm's repeater rifle
--[X] Miscellaneous contents of Abelhelm's Study
---[X] Minus Abelhelms' spare hat, brandy flask, and any interesting books
-[X] Keep
--[X] Liber Mortis.
--[X] Gong Farmers and Niter Factory
--[X] Discretionary Funds

[X] Plan: Magic Duties to clean up!
-[X] Enjoy a well-deserved holiday catching up with personal projects and living off your accumulated embezzlement.
--[X] We can't abandon our Sunken Palace until we've figured out the various leaking and/or unsafe magical items (Snake Box, that book, and Shyishkebabs) and worked out how to secure or transport them in our absence.
-[X] Managing your institutions - the EIC, your land, and the Information Network and Gong Farmers if retained.
-[X] Return to Altdorf to face the Magister's tests, and determine what to do with your life later.

Hand back the rightful symbol of the Elector Count, the rifle (no need to distract ourselves trying to learn it), and the study minus the hat (for personal reasons) and library (books are awesome, and we've got a letter from Van Hal saying he gave us books. We should keep some, it's less suspicious that way). Encourage Julia to go for Spymistress, always good to have contacts who owe you.

Keep severance pay, the Scary Book for now till we've vetted her better, and might as well keep the Nitre factory as we got Dwarves in to set it up. Maybe we'll look at the EIC buying it from us.

Then, take a break from Wurtbad, decompress a little, and go for Magister shortly.

I do not remember seeing that she'd be ambivalent about us taking Stirland spy network. Got a link?

Especially as your plan seems to be voting for keeping the Runefang- you know, the official Badge of Office of the Elector Counts of the Empire. If there's one good way to make her think we're planning a coup, keeping the network and the Runefang is it.
Here, and you may need o check your eyes because the Runefang is basicaly he one thing my vote gives.

Julia can go either way. Her vision for Stirland can be met by the Elector Countess or by a growing trade guild.

My plan covers that. </Shameless Plug> I agree on keeping the books!

Not in the Tally it doesn't, my man.

Errrr no. The Gong farmers and factory were under the budget of Watch thus turning those over to a private corporation is breaking the law. (Someone moved government asset to private corporation? Send in the FBI and IRS!)

Keep the rifle, keep the book.

Rifle as a memento, book for safekeeping (with the elector countess' attitude towards magic, I wouldn't want to just hand it over).
I got to say I agree with this. A memento of "our van Hal" that is especially fitting for our current stance as the Gunpowder wizard.
That and showing Belegar that even if the Empire won't answer when called, we still will. Let's out Dwarf rep the bloody Emperor.

Personally I'd like to keep all books but give his trophies and correspondence.

If they were important, they wouldn't be miscellany. It's mostly reference books that could be useful but could easily be found in the College libraries, interspersed with biographies and memoirs of various historical figures and a number of trinkets and mementos. Correspondence wasn't there; presumably he took it with him and was part of the baggage train that the army still has and has been keeping to be handed over to her.

@Alliterate I know I've been kinda spamming this to various plan makers but your vote has been the most appealing to me till now, so I feel like it is worth repeating to you as well: Any chance you could give the Gong Farmers and Niter Factory to the EIC, both to have it be safer, to pay off some debts and to make sure it is well managed and to the benefit of Stirland no matter what happens to us?
