They managed not to blow up the station so they must be going something right. I'm sure they will grow into it.

It is clear that we cannot rely on the people at Canva with technology

Oh this might be really cool if she gets a specialty here. Appropriate, and after the emotional hacking makes for a nice character arc.
Even if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have trusted them with the station without training or preparation.D100s are kinda notorious for being super swingy, There is a reason so many quests give some kind of dice manipulation. so its more like we can't trust anything that's one unmodified roll.
I voted for it, but with a roll where they just barely managed to not blow up, maybe now's a good time to do a follow-up diplomacy action where we educate people on how to run the station better.
I disagree. We did leave this to them so that we can focus on other stuff. Now that they've cleared the most dangerous hurdle by themselves, even if just barely, it would be very inefficient to start meddling with their progress.I voted for it, but with a roll where they just barely managed to not blow up, maybe now's a good time to do a follow-up diplomacy action where we educate people on how to run the station better.
Time to do the Research collective diplo write-ins and offer "spacestation control" as one of the techs.Time to open "Explorer Vita's School for People Who Can't Space Station And Want To Learn To Do Other Science Stuff Too"?

A bare success means they're going to have a hard time making any progress on their own.A roll of 9 might see people successfully fleeing the station, a roll of 12 might see people getting poisoned by bad atmosphere but not quite to a lethal level. But then again, a roll of 91 will see them develop a very responsible and effective culture of space-responsibility where even children are taught from a young age which codes mean what, which will accelerate their spread across space.
Yes, I understand that. But we have our own stuff to focus on at this point, and are approaching the point of leaving this place for quite some time. And we will still have accelerated their progress considerably. So I'm inclined to leave the rest to them.Going by this:

Fair enough. Though I don't think we're completely done helping them until they can defend themselves against invasion - but we're going to be exploring the rest of the solar system before we leave it, so that can wait.Yes, I understand that. Considering how dangerous the galaxy I wouldn't be comfortable with leaving until they have at least a Heavy Cruiser sized monitor floating around.Yes, I understand that. We finally have a map
Scientist is Anexa.Could we look to do a bit of a worldwide talent quest in the next few turns for people who would be good crew members.. such as exceptional scientists, military people, mechanics, pilots, diplomats, psychers engineers etc. I think it beefs us up mechanically and also narratively makes actions more fun and unique
