[X] River and Cave Region (Average Agriculture, Average Minerals, High Exotic Materials, High Danger)

While the high danger is a concern, I believe the combination of Ling Qi, GG, and CRX will be able to handle whatever comes our way. Plus whatever other retainers Cai Renxiang brings along.

Along with that danger, however, is what I feel to be commensurate reward. We have a solid base of potential in the average agriculture and average minerals, nothing spectacular, but certainly nothing to sneeze at. And with the Bai land studies and Zhengui, I feel that we can even reach higher than that average agriculture and really make something out of the place.

Most particularly we have high exotic materials. This is going to be stuff that others will likely want, which we can either turn into more money for development or more political capital to get the things we want in the region done easier.

The deciding fact for me, however, is that I do want the fief to be a place of interest with challenges and difficulties. Something that we need to work at in order to reap the rewards. That sounds more interesting to me than the clearly safer option of the valley.

As I see it, this is going to make dealing with spirits be a significant part of management going forward. This is standard for us but is a weak spot for CRX and GG, which they will have to rectify. Doing so is going to significantly alter CRX's path as her human focused approach simply is not applicable.

[] Valley Region (Very High Agriculture, Low Minerals, Average Exotic Materials, High Trade, Low Danger)

This is the conventional imperial choice. We end up with a high population in the middle of a relatively safe place. Its not a great fit for us but CRX and GG will both be quite comfortable there.

I like the idea of a heavily spiritual home base

Shenhua said we needed to keep up the achievements, so I think we need to go for some high risk to get some high rewards.

Every polity leader we see in this quest has huge "effectively utilized girl power to fund death squads" energy, so I'll go in for a quote!
I was going to point to the Sun, but then I remembered that they threw in their lot in with Jungle Grandma.

Here's a question, Yrsillar!

If we were to compare to the Argent Peaks area where our sect currently resides in, how would the sect grounds/outer village rate, in this Agriculture/Minerals/Materials/Danger classification?
Are we allowed to know this much? Heheh.

Seeing as how it's probably one of the more impactful votes for mid-term future that we'll be stuck with for a while, I'm gonna go with what I want to see more of.

Like I said earlier and several others also have, River and Cave has the best options overall. And I don't want our fief to just fade out into a background source of plant-based funding.

Agriculture is good for mortals, Trade is good for keeping options open, and for being diplomatic and social. Setting up farms is also a good sign of setting up to stay and not coming in for the easy loot and leaving in a decade. This helps create a feeling of being a neighbor.

I don't think we will ever lack for adventure/meet-the-spirits opportunities.
This will be the central area of "kingdom CRX" it being accessible and a population center seems rather natural.

Because I think this is a strong option both short and long term, and generally fits our team quite well.

... also it's losing badly :V

Did the dice roll affect the choices here?
