The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

I think you might have posted a, uh, little more than intended?

You should have used Face Melter on that spineless, conniving, treacherous, Nurgling munching, rust for brains, ass kissing, zealous, brain dead stupid, infuriatingly lucky, backstabbing, ungrateful, mushroom stomached, contemptuous, piece of Grox excrement the moment you laid eyes on it.
First of this is absolutely beautiful. And second of am I only one or does this post looks wierd?

[] Plan Going For Gold
-[] The Ultramarines: The most pure and stable Space Marine Gene-seed, the Ultramarines, sons of Roboute Guiliman, are a lineage that gives no great benefits but in turn does not have great downsides. They are tactically balanced, seeking to practice all forms of warfare rather than master just a few, and stand as the most numerous of the surviving Space Marines. They do seem to have started a minor tradition of maintaining ties with their successor Chapters, however. Whether this is a boon or a curse remains to be seen.
--[] 1 Charge of Potent Gene-Seed. (For Ultramarines Roll)
--[] 1 Charge of Legendary Gene-Seed. (For Ultramarines Roll)
--[] 1 Charge of Secondary Gene-Seed (Word Bearers) + 1 Charge of Potent Gene-Seed. (Allows two separate rolls for both chapters + base traits of each)
---[] 1 Charge of Legendary Gene-Seed. (For Word Bearers Roll)
-[] Akasha II: In all regards Akasha is a completely standard jungle Death World, with it's main standout 'trait' being the fact that the Imperial Truth seems to have been adopted very quickly and become strongly entrenched in the short amount of time since it's adoption.
--[] Adaptive Gene-Seed

I'm making this plan based on what actually won not on what the post. QM clarified. No point in Ultramarines secondary. Plan modified accordingly.

The reason I'm trying to use everything up is that is is really the only time I think I'm interested in using Word Bearers. Lets go all out here. Trying to counter the Imperial Creed is a massive mission so we need extra oomph.

You still have a small issue. The plan that won netted 2 Potent Gene-Seed Charges (there is a 2x at the end of that part of the Vote) and Ultramarines for the Secondary Gene-Seed.
I'll go back and fix the gene-seed but Ultramarines give nothing as a secondary since their trait list is entirely dependent on the planet and it would be redundant with adaptive gene-seed. I had just wrongly assumed people would realize that and not take ultramarines as a secondary.

If you guys still want ultramarines secondary I can change it but it's not going to be worth much.

Here's my idea for the anti-Chaos Chapters:

Khorne: Imperial Fist primary with Iron Hand secondary: perfect defense
Tzeentch: Space Wolves with Iron Hand: Rune Priests create items that negate magic plus more Dreadnaughts
Nurgle: Thousand Sons plus Death Guard: Heavy Troops with cleansing spells
Slaanesh: Word Bearers with an heavy emphasis of Chaplains

Narratively it should fix the everyone looking like Logar thing the Word Bearers had.

That's fine then. I don't think anyone was aware of that info about the Ultramarines.

Ultramarines are a canvas not paint

It was my bad for not realizing people were votingg
for an Ultramarines secondary sooner.

If I had I would have warned you guys.

Actually I'll put that warning up now.

Everyone as a heads up I'm going to warn you that picking Ultramarines as a secondary isn't going to help out. Secondary gene-seed rolls on a legions trait list and the Ultramarines don't actually have one after all.

How exactly do Ultramarines work, then?

Do they roll extra traits from the planetary list, instead of legion traits like all the other chapters?

In that case, do Ultramarines lack Legendary traits?

So does that mean potent and legendary gene seed shouldn't be used on them? Since they don't have a trait list?

Legendary Ultramarines unique Legendary Planet traits?

Shouldn't Ultramarines have their own legendary traits though?

Like the protag of Space Marine 1 and 2, who has the random specialty of being damn near immune to warp fuckery?
