What? One made mainly from apothecaries? Then Death Guard, Mortarion was supposed to be a doctor...but he landed on a planet which had followers of Nurgle, which I will say, is ironic as fuck.
More closer debt collectors or taxers that works with problematic chapters. So basically if we wanted Grimm to have "his own Space Marine Chapter", then these guys would need to be more "Capital-E Elite Apothecaries" than "Protectors"?
I mean that and the fact that he really doesn't want one.So basically if we wanted Grimm to have "his own Space Marine Chapter", then these guys would need to be more "Capital-E Elite Apothecaries" than "Protectors"?
And even than it's less 'Grimms Space Marine Chapter' and more just a chapter that does a job that already needed doing.More closer debt collectors or taxers that works with problematic chapters.
The closest would be a chapter dedicated to helping with the Gene-Seed tithe buts a very different thing from what most people are proposing.

Thar Ariak Hraldir from the space wolves is probably wishing he had Grimm expertise and help, assuming he's even born yet.You know, I wonder how Grimm is perceived by the Space Marines and the Imperium at large. Do the marines think he is cool? Overstepping? Kind of a weirdo but ok? Does every institution of the Imperium flood his inbox with requests for personal chapters?
That is the most fucking spiteful thing to do...and somehow it sounds like something Angry Marines would do...but with the station being words "FUCK YOU!" but yeah...Legendary Spite? Yep.Now I have a question.... would a giant space station in the form of a human hand making a rude hand gesture at the Eye of Terror be to absurd or would it fit in with 40ks extremeness, legendary pettyness and the fact that spite structures are already a thing IRL?

It wouldn't be too absurd, rather too comical in the context of wider Galaxy but I doubt it would be a hand, that shows any rude gesture, seems to...Modern, so to speak. More fitting would be Imperial aquila with both heads pointing towards the Eye.Now I have a question.... would a giant space station in the form of a human hand making a rude hand gesture at the Eye of Terror be too absurd or would it fit in with 40ks extremeness, the chapters legendary spite trait, and the fact that spite structures are already a thing IRL?
Which, at least to me, sounds reductive. Siege Mastery already provides near limit of mortal fortification especially given the good relationship with the Guard.Troy v2 needs 3 more Votes to beat the current lead, if people want Entrenchment over Librarians.
Honestly, I would assume a Big fuck off Statue doing something like. Not sure the middle finger since 40k is similar and difference with slang, curses, and mannerisms but the general thing there I would think yes. If the the middle finger station is done I imagine it would be more blocky boxes in the shape of a hand and middle finger. I would say them making a Spite Structure in some way to the Eye of Terror would fit right in with 40k.Now I have a question.... would a giant space station in the form of a human hand making a rude hand gesture at the Eye of Terror be too absurd or would it fit in with 40ks extremeness, the chapters legendary spite trait, and the fact that spite structures are already a thing IRL?
but we also do not want our defenders becoming corrupted which would be a even worse loss morally for the imperiumI feel the need to point out that the reason that we're creating this chapter is to defend the solar segmentum. Entrenchment training will allow us to fortify important planets in case of invasion. Redundant or not, these abilities stack making it that if we roll badly, the outcome itself will not be to severe. The light bringers rolled a single digit number and it was only because of their buff that prevented something terrible from happening.
Yes, siege masters is that trait for Steel Champions; entrenchment would probably turn +30 or +40 into +50. Which is nice, don't get me wrong, but Librarians probably would also help with that, especially if they discover wards of runed artillery or other stuff that will help them beat chaos given that most of it has some resistance to normal damage, but not psychic powers.I feel the need to point out that the reason that we're creating this chapter is to defend the solar segmentum.
