The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

Voting is open
First off we have a new spes marine creator quest: Reforging the Legions (Warhammer 40K)

Second I think it's pretty safe to call the vote early.

Keepers of truth wins.

[X] Plan: Keepers of Truth.
-[X] Chapter Name: Keepers of Truth.
-[X] Chapter Colours: Dark Red primary, Ashen secondary with White for kneeplate and pauldron trim.
-[X] Chapter Symbol: Bright red, burning torch with wings at it's sides.
-[X] Chapter Creed: "Burn The Lies of Ignorance! Burn The Lies of Darkness! Burn The Lies of Warp!"
-[X] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
-[X] Counterintelligence Training: The Chapter is proficient in the art of detecting and thwarting enemy infiltration attempts.
-[X] Extra Assault Packs: The Chapter has a great number of Assault Packs, letting them retain a greater number of Assault Marines in each Company.
-[X] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.

Finally.

It's time to roll out!

If you want the OG roll just subtract the bonus from the results.

Oh...I am noticed...and approved of? Emperorhelpmeplease.

Rolls could be better but I'm glad they survived till the present at least.

Poor children. They deserved something better then years of civil war.

Huh.

The Apostate Crusades seems like an interesting time in the Keeper of Flamer's history.

On one hand, you had them battling it out against their heretic brothers with the Sisters of Battle in the first crusade.

On the other hand, you had them battling it out against their heretic brothers and the Sisters of Battle in the second crusade.

What a fun time for them, I'm sure.

oh well vote closed minutes before I posted. let's see the rolls.

oh boy a lot to work out here. So a little below mid for the Resurgence of the Imperial truth, so normal and some worlds taking it but not a lot. not bad. and we had a middling influenceon the third founding with a really low roll on the rise of the creed. So that went about as a expected, really rough start with some influence but a really an underground movement with little support Did decent with the weathering the Ecclesiarchy so they weren't outright absorbed or destroyed and some Inquistion helping a bit.

Man the Zealot trait along with Stubborn either saved this chapter or nearly doomed it, I can't tell which. Its only after the Mechanicus Intervenes and later founding it really takes off and influences other chapters and being able to stand up to the Ecclesiarchy much better and stronger. Oh wow, Vandire didn't even try.

Holy shit they nearly fumbled at the Word bearer Apostate Crusade and only saved by that damn +80 that's going to be bloody I can tell. they... got hurt by the Black Templars, another bloody loss but have a good relation with the Sister of Battle.... for some reason.

Again a low roll vs the Apostate Crusade 2 and saved by the massive modifier and fighting against the Sisters of battle for some reason and doing well again them.

HAH that relation was always going to be be there and after all that fighting? there's reason for it to be that low.

These guys are literally the Word Bearer's worst possible matchup.

Nothing short of a nat 1 was going to lead to the Word Bearers having anything close to a good time.

Bolter for Home Defense
... If these guys have a meme of their own it's totally going to be a 'Just as the founding fathers intended' thing ain't it.

I own a bolter for home defense,
since that's what the Emperor of mankind intended.
Four Word Bearers break into my house.
"What the extradimensional warp entity?" As I grab my aquilla power armor pattern helmet and Bolter.
Blow a fist sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot.
Draw my melta pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's badly maintained archeotech and nails the neighbors Rhino.
I have to resort to the plasma cannon mounted at the top of the stairs overcharged by the fortress monastaries reactor, "Tally ho lads" the shards of what was once a plasma cannon shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off Land raider alarms for kilometers.
Call in the serfs and watch as they use a laser cutter to bisect the last terrified traitor to the throne.
He "Bleeds out" waiting on the arbities to arrive since bisections are impossible to stitch up, Just as the emperor of mankind intended.

Ave Roubute! Fellow Ultramarines!
