The Polish insurgents will quickly turn their guns on Germany if it looks like we are trying to annex majority Polish regions or are threatening their newfound freedom, plebiscites or not. Let our Polish allies achieve their long-held goal of restoring Polish statehood and let us not alienate them in our moment of shared triumph.

The Central European/World Republic can come (probably many, many years later) after enough trust and unity has been developed between all peoples involved.

Considering Germans have been living there for over 700/800 years, I wouldn't call it colonial. Unless you mean to give it back to the old prussians who're now long gone? It's not like the Polish have a greater claim to it than the Germans at this point in time.

Yes, because they aren't covered by the Congress on Eastern Europe. These are territories specifically for the Allies to decide. I think the update has stated this point outright but I could be misremembering

Hmmm, @Etranger is every option essentially how we present choices in plebiscites to the peoples of these lands?
 
Can imagine that the Chinese in the otl we're going to support with weapons and stuff are going to love the broom handle Mauser, like it was the pistol every soldier and officer and everything else wanted to have.

This is a map of my plan proposal, though note that West Prussia will be partitioned, and while I put a division I thought was likely in the map, the actual result may be different.

Annexing everything will rightly scare everyone because the Germans are clearly just as imperialistic as any of the Ancien Regimes that they're fighting to replace.

If you guys want to annex Poland and others, the better bet is to make them independent and then go down the route of the European Union and integrate them one government apparatus at a time.

We should not partition Galicia. Make it an independent republic, or give it wholly to one state, or annex it into Germany outright; anything that avoids dividing one of the most multiethnic parts of the former Habsburg territories into two nation-states, and thus likely precipitating at the very least mass population relocations, if not worse.

I strongly agree with this sentiment that the people's fates should be decided by them, not us.
We probably shouldn't present literally every option everywhere, no matter how implausible (that's just confusing), but it fundamentally shouldn't be our choice to make.

I believe it was pointed out in this thread, the last thread, or discord, that West Prussia and Pozan likely don't have as many German people living there as they did in real life. Prussia was unable to agressively settle those regions with Germans because of the existence of the republic, so the German population has stayed relatively low. That means they should mostly be majority Polish. That makes it partitioning the land easier.

Hmmm, apparently the Japan saw the Entente support for Chinese reactionary and decide to deal with that problem. Hope this will go well for them instead of getting their city bombarded.

...Also, I think I might understand why Entente seem to be willing to support a pro-German peace when they have to deal with shit going down in Asia.

Also, possibly another reason why war weariness is high even in Germany.
 
Several hundred is much better than otl Germany of the same rough period did with its cholera outbreak, which had over eight thousand victims just in Hamburg.
 
The Ottoman Empire begins soliciting foreign bids for the construction of a railway between Constantinople and Baghdad.

I think I want us to go for this when the war is off. Idk if we have the industrial capacity to rebuild and do this, but if the Ottoman spine is organised in a socialist way then that could be useful to us
