I suspect that the Best Shit is stuff that doesn't decay, which is why it's very rare for Dwarven Artifacts to be part of someone's panoply, but when they are, they're really strong.
My impression was less 'damages' and more 'they don't work right while it's shining on them'. Which would be a serious problem for weapons or armor. That might be wrong, though.
If there's one place you want to be sure that Mjolnir will work properly, the border wall separating the inner realms of creation from the realms of the giants feels pretty high on the list!

Odr in Tactics, Scouting, and Strategy
After infusing odr into your tactical acumen, you find that the Frenzied shimmers that fall off people grant you greater insight into possible outcomes.
Very interesting.
0~0~0 Frenzy in Tricks
No matter how hard you try, you can't seem to force Frenzy into tricks.

0~0~0 Teaching Sagaseeker to use his Aspects
The cat-eared boy stares at you as you try to explain how to use his Aspects.
"I don't think that's gonna work anytime soon," Blackhand comments from his position against the tree. A butterfly flies a hair too close and he incinerates it with a glare. He mumbles something about 'freaky creatures.'
"Well, why not?"
"Too young, too underdeveloped," Blackhand shrugs, "that's what my guess is. I never did this with Ravenfeast or Crowfeeder, after all."
You frown and sigh.
0~0~0 Brewing liquor from hearthberries
Taking a few Hearthroot Berries, you drop them into the Brewery Pocket.
As nothing happens, you blink and realize that just one ingredient won't be sufficient.
Hmm...
0~0~0 Dwarven Hammer and Chisel

A loud crack rings out as the chunk of stone splits completely in half.

0~0~0 Asking Steinarr about Tricks
Steinarr's brows steadily climb his face as you read off your plethora of questions.
He blinks, long and slow. "Halla, I don't know anything about half of what you said and the other half I've already taught you." He scratches at his chin as he shrugs, "Like, I can't exactly teach you Golden Chain as we're lacking any sort of big chain upon which to train. The Varangian Way can only be taught after arriving at Miklagard, as the journey there is essential to learning it."
"Well," you frown, "what about the Stoker State? What tricks do you know for that?"
He brightens up instantly. "Oh, I know plenty! There's the Fire Poker, Tinder Blades, Smolder Sword, Fire Starter, Devouring Blaze, Brazier Bomb, Firepit Fling, Stoking Strike, Stoking Guard, Ember Stoke, and, of course, the Flame-Tending Blade."
You blink, "And what do all those do?"
He grins and launches into an explanation of them all.
0~0~0 Crafting clothing (Housecraft: 6x3, 5x4, 4x3, 3x2, 2x1, 1x1)17+15+3=35
"And here is yours," you say as you hand your husband a cloth-wrapped bundle of clothing. A length of twine ties it all together as Abjorn gingerly takes it from your hands.
The children run around in blues, reds, and greens, silver thread linking it all together with fine embroidery. Gold thread swirls around the collars and hemline of their shirts, adding a distinguished flair to the already high-quality material.
Abjorn swallows as he lays the bundle across his knees. He's breathing quickly now as his shaky hands tug at the string. The knot comes undone as easily as anything does around Abjorn, his strength making such concerns pointless.
He freezes as the wrapping opens up, revealing his gift inside. For a moment, you're worried you did wrong or messed something up, but those worries are dashed aside as you spot the tears threatening to escape his eyes.
He mumbles something, which you fail to catch.
"What was that, Abjorn?" You ask as you lean in — all according to his cunning plan.
His big, strong arms pull you into a hug faster than you can react. Your surprise turns to gentle love as he sobs, unable to hold back the waterworks any longer. His eyes screw shut as his shoulders shake and heave. You didn't expect this reaction, but you're certainly not complaining!
It had been a little awkward after your fight, but now?
All is right in the world.
0~0~0 Crafting tafl board (Housecraft: 6x4, 4x2, 3x5, 2x1, 1x2-1)13+15+6(Forgefire)=34 Successes. (Runes: 6x4, 5x2, 4x1, 3x5, 2x1)17+15+7(Aspects)=39 Successes. Final Result: Wondrous
Following Blackhand's instructions, you shaped and formed the Tafl board. It's rather plain, all things considered, though you did hammer some nice swirling shapes into the border of the board.
Now all that's left to do is start playing!

0~0~0 Talking to Toki
"Ah, Halla!" Toki says as a forearm-sized wrinkly worm wriggles in his beard. The worm writhes and flails its stumpy little limbs as Toki scowls and carefully excavates it from his facial hair. Several dozen of these little creatures lay in specially designed cots hanging from hooks in the ceiling. Placing the worm into one of the cots, he claps his hands clean and turns to you, "So, what can we Thunssons do to help you?"
"Are those...?" You trail off as you wiggle a finger at the wriggling worms.
"They're larvae!" Toki nods with clear pride as he pats a worm on the head — where the beginnings of stubble grows in scattered patches, "My sons, at that!"
"Very, uh," you blink, not really sure how to progress from here, "handsome?"
Toki laughs and waves his metal arm, "It's fine, you don't have to like them. Human larvae look like naked mole-rats to dwarves!"
"Uh, cool..." You're not exactly very enthused about this conversation, not to mention that neither you nor Blackhand know what a 'naked mole-rat' is, "Anyways, I was wondering if you would be willing to sell me metals and also if you could look at my cultivation spot."
"Cultivation spot?" Toki asks as he opens up a seamless panel in his arm. He pulls out a strange black stick and clicks the end. A piece of chalk pokes out the tip and he prepares to scribble on a sheet of smooth stone that the underside of his arm spat out.
"Like yours up on the surface." You point a finger towards the surface. "Except dead instead of alive, if that makes any sense."
"Sounds like you found the entrance to an old dwarf underhouse, likely from the Hatchlings." Toki purses his lips as he taps the chalk-tipped stick against his chin.
"Hatchlings?"
"The Clan that used to live in these parts, before we, the Goslings, and the Cygnets exterminated them." Toki jerks a thumb towards a corner of the room, where a dwarf statue stands — its face frozen in ecstasy. "I even managed to get my hands on one that got Stoned! Very expensive, but well worth the price!"
He's rather proud of that fact. You shudder and shuffle an inch or two away from the dead dwarf.
"A-anyways," you cough into a fist, "business."
"Business," grins Toki, either unaware or uncaring of how you feel. "As you are human, you're not aware of the complexities of dwarf trade negotiations, so we shall do this in the traditional way; you make a request, we give you an unfair price, and then we negotiate until both sides walk away unsatisfied."
You raise your brows. "This... seems like it gets bloody."
Toki nods, the smile never leaving his face. "Oh it does!"
How do you wish to proceed?

No moratorium, but this will be the only update for today.
Okay, that Tafl Board is a fucking heirloom. Double Hugr and Tactics training as well as "Pick two people, on a 6 on a D6, their Capacity permanently goes up by one?"
Absolutely fantastic. Clothes pass went over well too, and thus domestic bliss is further assured.
I'd say there's four major points we want to work on.
[X] Plan: Dwarfgotiations
-[X] Make full usage of our Silver Tongue, and don't be unwilling to use Calm Charges if required on Composure checks.
-[X] A one time infusion of Forged Iron. We don't want to stumble over our friend in town's business, but we do need a one-shot infusion for a big project we're working on for our partner and we want to have it be a surprise.
-[X] On that note, we're also planning on doing an additional project with our favored weapon to take it to the next level, if they've got anything special they'd be willing to sell to forge into it as part of that, you'd be willing to buy enough for your project. Show off Sagaseeker in its current state if that's what's needed to get an assessment.
-[X] Assistance and advice on refurbishing the old Underhouse, you get the feeling there's a blockage there and you'd prefer to get professionals to work at it rather than flail around and potentially bother one of the other neighbors. Presuming nobody's claimed it yet already,
-[X] You've got a potential struggle in the future on the way, and you'd like to stack the deck in your favor when the time comes. What kind of price would we be looking at to get their assistance preparing a really potent battleground for a single big fight? It doesn't need to last forever, because you don't intend to make a habit of this sort of thing at this time, but it should ideally be a significant aid when we start it up for the duration of said fight.
Huh, interesting. That board is sweet. And the rest went pretty well, too! We'll need to look through those Stoker Tricks carefully to see which we want.
I actually disagree. We do in fact want an ongoing source of Forged Iron, and indeed, magical iron as well. We won't be selling it so we don't need to worry about undercutting the blacksmith too much and we are 100% willing to deal with the dwarves directly rather than going through them. Like, if we started cutting into their business they'd be upset, but a separate deal for our own use should be fine.
My suggested version:
[X] Plan Ongoing Supply Deal
-[X] Use Goal-Tell Trick to see what Toki actually wants and improve our negotiating position thereby
-[X] Use Cool-Off and/or Calm Charges if necessary to remain calm, though we start with Cool-Off first if that's viable
-[X] We need a lot of Forged Iron for a big project, and would like an ongoing source for that if possible, though it's not as urgent. We would also like an ongoing source for magical iron of various sorts like molten iron and storm iron if it can be arranged.

-[X] It is specifically worth noting that trading them surplus Food and other things produced by our farm is very much on the table, though when we mention that will depend on the results of Goal-Tell and the rest of the negotiations. A regular deal of Food (and/or Goods) for Forged Iron (and/or magical Iron of various sorts) would be ideal if the amounts were correct.

We don't know how to make Pukkos, and it'd be dangerous to try to do it blind, they are Serious Fucking Business apparently.
Anyway, looks like Tactics and Strategy Infusions are fine, but require Frenzy to work off of, but make it better. Scouting is also fairly safe apparently. I'm thinking for our next test, we'll want to do an Infusion into Glima, since that should give us an idea of how Infusion works on Martial Styles without taking any huge risks.
Interestingly, apparently Crafting Infusions are 'Potentially Dangerous', but we Infused Weaponcrafting a while back and it seems to be okay? Then again, it might be because we haven't actually made a proper Weapon since we Infused it.
There's also a lot of fucking Tricks attached to Stoker Style. Holy mackerel. On the other hand, as it becomes stronger, you get increasing amounts of dice out of Basic Attacks from it.
On further Thonks. @Imperial Fister , how do we improve on our Internal Farm Plots? Do we just have to go through this whole project all over again? Or do we need more Crops to get better results, and they're only Decent because we don't have great examples of stuff to cultivate in there?
Anyway, all that aside, I'm thinking we want to start doing a big investment into our Hearthroot Berries, then making some Sunshine out of the Bottle Sunlight, the Earthblood, and the empowered Hearthberries and see what falls out. Just put it off until we can bring the Earthblood up with the Seeress and see if there's any major ideas of what else we might be able to do with it.

I don't think Sten knows how to make them, he's implied it was a Secret his Master knew but didn't get a chance to pass on to him before the shit hit the fan.
Maybe we'll figure something out when we talk to Minna?
Anyway, that said, you're confirming that Decent is the limit of what the Farms can be with what we currently have in there, and to improve it, we need more stuff and significantly greater skills, right?
