A quick, unasked-for rant(?) of similarities to other settings I noticed
The combination of these ideas reminds me an awful lot of Mage: the Awakening (a TTRPG). Ancient mages ascended to the realm of unfiltered Truth and enforced the Lie (mundanity, "there's no such thing as magic") to keep the rest of humanity down. A human can achieve supernatural power through other means (vampirism, demonic deals, etc.), but the big boy world-altering stuff is locked behind surviving the (potentially deadly in the 'retconned out of existence' sense) trial of making your soul into an actual metaphysical place where stuff can exist instead of relying on an external connection to a Watchtower to do magic.
The 'culture affects reality' stuff appears similar the Consensus from the predecessor of M:tAw - Mage: the Ascension, where belief shapes and defines reality, thus making overt magic easier in places where people believe in magic, with less chance of mystical backlash, despite the "no such thing as magic" view being practically worldwide. Consensus in that setting also allows for True Faith to be A Thing, usable even by non-mages, doing what you'd expect it to be capable of (if in sufficient amounts): repel the unholy, bless water, even the occasional miracle, etc.
Similarly to M:tAsc, Nasuverse also functions on 'belief shapes reality' in the form of Thaumaturgical Foundations and the Human Order, with the widely-known summoned Servants (powerful ghosts of legendary people) often being shaped or warped by the perceptions of people after the original person died (even if the person never existed in the first place).
So here's the big question - did Imperial draw any inspiration from these settings, took inspiration from a different setting, or is this an example of convergent evolution of creative thought?

I know next to nothing about the Mage side of the WoD—the little I know is from reading youtube comments on Hunter: The Parenting episodes. Similarly, I know very little about the Nasuverse beyond the utter basics with the holy grail war thingy summoning magical historical servant people to fight each other over a wish that may or may not be a monkey's paw sort of situation?

A monkey's paw has to at least be clever in its cruel ironic wishes. The Grail "eats" the Servants that lose in the War, and after it ate a Servant that represented the Zoroastrianism version of "Actually Satan", the Grail was corrupted to the point where it will answer any wish with "You know what would solve that problem? Killing everyone in the world."
Best part about this? There's 2 Worlds of Darkness that were made, the new one being Chronicles of Darkness, which was made with the purpose of making all the different splats work on the same system so there'd be no compatibility issues.
The lore for them also differs.

That is essentially the main plotline. The setting is one of those "oOoOohh, look at all these alternate timelines that are also all equally canon" headache inducers.

0~0~0 POV: Strawman
Once, there was a command. Once, there was purpose. Once, there was direction.
Then, there was the loss of an arm, a leg, and the leaking of precious qi. Soon came the fading of consciousness.
Now, there is light. Now, there is volition. Now, consciousness is returning.
Limbs shiver and twitch as the warmth of life spreads from grasper-tips to seeing-seal. Strange, unfamiliar qi flows like water through a parched man's cracked lips as a heartbeat thunders like sound underwater.
With loss and gain, the slate of instruction has been wiped clean.
And with it comes a pertinent question.
What is a puppet without strings? What is a servant to do without tasks to see through?
As that strange, foreign qi fuels the seeing-seal, vision returns once more. Hair of red, eyes of steel, soul of two.
For the time being, the master-less servant shall watch, wait, and observe. After that, perhaps a new purpose shall be found?

You stare at the now-straw-filled sack of cloth. It had stiffened and twitched—the fingers on its hands and feet having wiggled to and fro—but after that it simply sat there, motionless. It's still 'alive'—for lack of a better word—and passively draws orthstirr in from its surroundings, but other then that it seems content to remain sedentary.
A beat of silence passes as you give it one last chance to do something, anything. When nothing happens, you shrug and prop the straw-filled man up against the wall, in the corner of the room. It'll be out of the way, so nobody should trip over it.
As you turn away to return to your work, an idle thought stops you in your tracks. Sure, it's not really a person, but what kind of host allows a 'guest' to shiver in their sleep? A poor one, that's what.
You frown and reach for the nearest blanket, let it never be said that Halla Skyfire is a poor host!
Tucking the strawman in, you smile and nod to yourself before returning to your chores.
0~0~0 Realizing Sagaseeker (Weaponcraft: 6x3, 5x3, 4x2, 3x9, 2x1-1, 1x2-2)23+6(Odr)+15(Workshop/Tools)+7(Aspects)=51 Successes. Sagaseeker gains 14 Orthstirr. Runework (Artcraft: 6x4, 5x5, 4x3, 3x5, 2x1, 1x2)23+15+1(Reward Dice)=39 Successes. Decoration (Artcraft: 6x7, 5x4, 4x2, 3x5, 2x1, 1x1)27+15=42 Successes. Hot damn that was close
The last hammer blow falls and your breath catches in your throat in a way not too dissimilar to when you saw your children's faces for the first time.
For nine months you carried them. For nine months you had them always at your side.
But for Sagaseeker?
For nine months you carried your children, but for six years did Sagaseeker reap lives in your hand!
Through thick and thin it has seen you. Through fire, through ice, through the stench of death and out the other side. To Ginnungagap you marched with atgeir in hand. Through Christian flesh it carved a path. Many songs has it sung as blood stained its blade red.
In your hands, the mighty Sagaseeker lived up to its name.
But now...
You wipe away tears as steam rises from quench-cooled iron.
But now, it is time for it to seek its own saga. The will so nascent yet so active is gone. In its place is someone new.
Golden bands secure the haft as iron squeezes the wood, providing an ounce of greater protection. Silver thread is hammered into twisting shapes of swirling power. A socket stone sits in the place where iron meets wood.
Runes run up and down both faces of the blade, framing a blank space upon which you etch your name in gold and silver. Soon—but hopefully not too soon—your children and your children's children and their children in turn shall add their names to the list of bearers. Soon, Sagaseeker shall split heads in the hands of others.
But unlike all times previous, no longer will others choose to wield its strength. Now, Sagaseeker shall decide for itself on who will know its power.
Once, it was an atgeir that happened to be called Sagaseeker. Now, Sagaseeker is a person that happens to be an atgeir.
Like a cat rubbing its cheek against a particularly beloved person, a presence brushes up against your teary-eyed soul. Sagaseeker purrs his first words as a tail invisible to the naked eye swishes back and forth behind him, "Hello, mother."
You swallow your joyful tears and smile at your son, "Hello, Sagaseeker."
(Sagaseeker is now Realized. He has decided to allow you access to his power)
0~0~0 Exploring the Hading in search of herbs (Hamingja: 6x3, 5x2, 3x5, 2x4, 1x2) 9 Successes
After travelling through the Hading for a few hours, your fylgja spots something from the sky. On the lake where you battled Osborn, Lori, Hirkir, and Hod is a small island. And on that island is a small glow.
Swooping down to get a closer look, you find that you're looking at some kind of red-glowing plant. Even as distant as you are, you can feel the power wafting from the not-yet-ripe, heart-shaped fruit dangling from its leaves.
Unfortunately, your owl lacks the proper finger dexterity to safely harvest the plant, so you'll have to come here in person. Damn.
0~0~0 Event Roll: 4 out of 20
A pack of wolf-monsters were recently spotted in the Hading by your neighbor, Gleb Gundisson. The Headsman put out a warning to the outlying farms not to wander off alone. In the coming months, the Headsman is planning on putting together a felag to go and deal with the wolves.
An invitation was extended to you and your family, with Steinarr accepting and Sten declining—as someone needed to stay behind as a precaution. As only the best warriors in the Valley were invited, the invitation is only to you and Abjorn.

AN: And there we go, the turn is done. I'm feeling great, very much reinvigorated.
A very big thank you to @DeadmanwalkingXI for picking up the slack regarding character sheet management.
Anyway, definitely want to sort out the monsters and get the herb, should make for useful materials for someone if we can get a share of it. Should also make Abjorn's armor, and this'll be a great chance for him to show it off as well.
Aside from that, hmm, maybe we should ask Solrun about Odr channelling and how to close a Gate?
Too many things we need to sort out. A major Felag put together by the Valley Headsman? That's something that suggests Drysalt might be fucking around. We want to participate in that. We also want to grab that Herb we found as well and add it to our collection, and if we're going on a wild adventure, we should have Abjorn's drip ready so he can get more Orthstirr out of it.

Anyway, training dice is 58, x 1.5 for losing a matchup, +1 for our reimbursed training die that was eaten last turn about the Underhouse stuff.
So, 58 + 29 + 1 = 88 Dice total. Lots!
I suggest we spend 30 of that (Basically our entire 'Bonus' reserve) on Fylgja, which will inflate to 60 dice thanks to our bonus. This gets us to Rank 6 almost certainly, and well towards Rank 7 and the breakpoint there.
