So. I have a question.

How many folks here are familiar with The World Ends With You? (Aka, how much can I use that for Rip and Darra.)

For those who are familiar, imagine it as a two player game split screen where both players are Neku.

I think I could see it as something based on Warlock or Crusader with tweaks.

Anyway, Rip and Darra and the Temple of Doom is in idea stages. So there's that.

The problem is that a Dragon of that size will probably produce pearls too big for a lightsaber.
Considering the size of krayt dragons in the original?

I doubt that.

Also, question for @Dr. Snark . what is the quest stance on the Duinuogwuin?
Among other things, there's one currently serving as a Padawan, given that he wasn't killed by Grievous.

Throw in their unrevealed homeworld, 2000 year lifespan, and rumors they're the progenitor to Krayt Dragons?

I thinking of a idea for omake, a new potential abyss walker. Basically he would be a walker that was originally a thief/archaeologist, who gets a job interview after making a mistake and attempting to steal from one of the archaeology teams. As a force user, he uses two main abilities for his work that he uses instinctively without knowing how he does so, so it would be incredible hard/impossible for him to teach. The two abilities would be phasing, and flow walking to observe the past. One thing to note is that he perfers to use spears in a fight, as sabers let people get to close, and spears have more mundane uses.

I'm going to let you in on my biggest secret of content creation.

If you want it, and you want it a certain way, the best person to do it is you. It might take a bit to get it right, but you're developing your writing skills simultaneously.

How did Rip get started? I had the audacity to write him into the world, in a way that if he never got canonized I could still write him and maintain continuity.
Same way the abyss watchers c&c game got started. I wanted it. I made it happen. That one, however, never got canonized despite my best efforts.

Does that mean I'm not setting up Rip to be testing a homebrew class with Darra called Soulbound Pactmaker? Of course I'm doing that. (I just had to pick up my ds to play it a bit to refresh my memory if anyone asks. That and I was looking for work.)

Neat, thank you, I always like getting writing advice. I try to write more, but I always get bogged down, or distracted. Biggest problem for me though is just getting started.

A couple of things I do:
Put on some appropriate music (Lucas King 1 hour stuff tends to be nice).
Block out other stuff.
Have a tab handy for 'research'.
Write what you want to write. Start in the middle and explain how you got there later.

...

...What's the story? You can't just say "oh hey, let's put a Shard in a gunship!" There's got to be more to it than that. Do they spend all of their time in the gunship body, or do they have a frame on hand when they need to walk around? What drove them to decide to be a ship instead of having an Iron Knight body or something similar?

I am not saying this to deter you. I am asking these questions as a challenge.

Can you point me to the Buff Hutt link? Sounds interesting.

My vote is for Darra and Riphath to explore more of Tython. Way too many goodies there, and I'm pretty sure that planet's next on our list of 'archaeological expeditions', so they'll be canonized next turn.
I'm not a great archaeology writer, but I can go through my backlogged research and throw them at another one.

"Ancient ideas long since obsoleted by modern technology," "ancient crafting facility long since obsoleted by modern crafting"
"Signs pointing to a not-Stargate in a canyon filled with the dark side but yielding to a key symbol"

Wow. I just realized that the title 'May the Invisible Hand Be With You" is a double pun. There's the ship and also the Invisible Hand of the Market. And given Ciaran's activities, it can be argued that she is the Invisible Hand of the Market.

I thought Dr. Snark named the ship after the title in an attempt to retroactively justify it.
Which would suggest that the market thing was a coincidence that he hadn't noticed.
