But, she doesn't know who killed her father though, all she saw was a clone trooper shoot her father on tape. She shouldn't know that we gave the order, or am I missing something?

She doesn't know who specifically fired the killing shot, but Armand's last words gave her ideas about who would likely be responsible for the hit.

Does she even know who to aim the gun at? Palps and Cici were both mentioned but neither were definitively named.

We could easily throw the blame elsewhere.

Hmm...she doesn't know who to direct her ire at--her father (himself no slouch in the Intellect & Cunning Department) wasn't sure if it was Ciaran or Palpatine. It would not be all that hard to lay this at Palpatine's feet, given his "you have failed me for the last time" style of management. And depending on how much attention she's paying at the age of eleven (having been one who paid very close attention) and how much her father knew/told her, the idea of a suspiciously-well-connected humanitarian with a criminal history targeting her father instead of his superior (a man with a lot to lose and upon whom Armand could plausibly turn and make life very irritating) will likely seem...convenient for Palpatine's sake, regardless of it being true.

That said? I'm pretty sure her primary blame is going to fall upon the clones. Since so far as she knows they're quite literally the ones who pulled the trigger here.

...Excuse me for a moment while I...

Ahem. Sorry about that. In case anyone was wondering, yes, Kal Skirata just handed over the keys to the kingdom, pretty literally. That back-door to the Republic Treasury means a) we're now in a position to steal practically everything, and b) if when the CNS sets up its own financial infrastructure in anticipation of the Republic's collapse, we will be able to co-opt any part of the Republic Treasury's system and all of its records.

Basically: the money is nice, the information is nicer, but the infrastructure is to die for. Worth it.

The time is coming to Metalorn Coruscant.

"...Palpatine or Ciaran?" Armand spat out

Oh, if we manage to kill Palpy it will be us, because who else, and if Palpy kills us it will be Palpy, because who else, but in that case it's kind of irrelevant.

From what I can remember, isn't Ysanne kind of... incompetent?
not really, she was a cold harted B with the end justify the mean streak parsec wide.
who got micro focus when wedge and the rogue started to harass her and had something of a mental break down.

but before all that we was Imp INT prime boss who knew lots and lots of skeleton of many a powerful person.

I was about to suggest that we "adopt" young Ysanne and explain that it was totally Sheev's fault that her father died, technically true, but then I realised that that would be leaning into the whole Sith and villain trope a bit too hard and would only see her discover the truth a decade down the line when she's one of our favourite Abyss agents.

I mean, with her back story it'd be practically inevitable, but I think that doing that to her might turn her into a fantasy protagonist and the Force in Star Wars often works similarly to narrativium in the Discworld novels.

But, if shes the protagonist, does that mean we've at least somewhat redeemed her as a moral person with our parenting?

Really? I have no idea. I know only, like, 10 characters from the movies, that's it.

Yeah, people with the ability to use the force on a concious level are extremely rare and if she had been Palpatine would have made her into a hand, and never would have let her control Imp Int.

No, I mean she managed to outmaneuver the New Republic on multiple occasions, setup and deploy a virus that really put some major fracture lines into them once they took Coruscant and had control of all Bacta for a while, oh and successfully faked her death to the point no one even suspected she was still alive.

Her biggest issue was probably being a women in a misogynist Empire which limited the resources she could command especially after the death of the Emperor. I would put her up there with Thrawn as one of the more dangerous opponents the New Republic faced.

That and after a while of always being ahead of her enemies probably caused her to discount people being able to guess all of her actions at the end which got her killed for good.

Do you mean we just got two more dice, or four? :p

But seriously: with one 'minor'exception, this was definitely worth it. And even Hang and Kal worrying about being Pains isn't so bad. In fact, it means that if we/our successor goes off the deep end, they are likely to pull away and potentially either oppose us or replace us.

Which is something that would reduce how bad the next 'Sith vs Jedi' war will be. Always a good thing.

So we just got an auditor's clearance into the Treasury. So many opportunities.
