Alright than.

[X] Match made in Mandalore
-Ciaran-Fixer
-Ordo-Silencer
-Boss-Thrawn
-Grievous-Sev
-Gulan-Scorch

I think they match well as far as capability and character go. And I don't think this necessarily requires balance via opposite sides of the specialty spectrum.

Ciaran and Fixer, they work best in the fight out of sight.

Sev and Grievous, a whirling dervish combination of melee-ranged and long range who share the same thirst for blood and slaughter.

Boss and Thrawn, good temperaments combined with a fantastic mind.

Ordo and Silencer, the only guy left besides Grievous who will work well with Ordo, together they're fucking deadly.

Scorch and Gulan, because how is being good at using explosives not the closest thing to cheating in a straight out firefight?

Thoughts?
Does Ciaran have any data on her? because the only problem I see with this plan is letting someone we are told to not let near anything we need secret by the head of the galactic conspiracy.

You've got a semi-colon instead of a bracket there on the right; the vote counter won't pick up that vote if you format it that way.

Does Ciaran have any data on her? because the only problem I see with this plan is letting someone we are told to not let near anything we need secret by the head of the galactic conspiracy.

Why yes, she has a document on her at all times titled "Plan to Take Over the Galaxy." :V

But seriously, Ciaran wouldn't carry anything that sensitive on her at a time like this. Same goes for everyone else.

I don't think she would. Both because she knows what she's doing and because bringing anything containing critical intel into a battlefield is kind of stupid as hell.

Edit: Commando'd by the GM

[X] Trip trough Kamino

-Ciaran - Boss
-Gulan - Scorch
-Silencer - Ordo
-Thrawn - Fixer
-Grievous - Sev

•Ciaran, despite being good with her Lightfoil and blasters, is more of a info gatherer/hacker.
Boss can work with others, and is a solider. Where Ciaran has less experience, he'll cover her and via versa.
Abyss Watchers did "bug" this place before, so she is somewhat familiar with this tech....

•Subtlety with bombs... Gulan "knows what he's doing" and Scorch can be "muscle" so to speak

•Silencer earned Jango's respect, and to be honest, he can keep up with the best of Clone troopers.

•Thrawn is military strategist and now part of an "intelligence organisation" so he "can't" be outwitted by a "highly proficient slicer" that being said, they both are intelligent type so mutual respect will go long way.

•Long range fighter with close range combatant. Both know the value of stealth, both can utilise hit-and-run tactics, and can identify enemy "weaknesses". Soe Chaos on the battlefield, leave no one alive.

Well, duh. I just filed that detail under "common sense things" and didn't bother to mention it :V
You haven't had the same QM's I've had.

Y'know the sad thing is I just played through Republic Commando before I wrote this arc to make sure I had Delta Squad's banter just right. Which I like to think I did, but the thing about the internal communicators went right over my head.

...In my defense, they don't really talk with anyone else in that game aside from themselves, the Advisor, and other clones, sooo...

Yeah, that's fair. I've read all but one of their books and the game. As well as their wiki pages semi-regularly.

@Dr. Snark: that update. was. perfect. Listening to Adele's 'Skyfall' made everything so much better, but seriously -- really well done.

That said... everyone is voting for 'Match made in Mandalore', and I don't understand why.
[X] Match made in Mandalore
-Ciaran-Fixer
-Ordo-Silencer
-Boss-Thrawn
-Grievous-Sev
-Gulan-Scorch

'Fixer' is Delta Squad's slicer, described as "straight-laced" and unable to keep a secret. The best fit for keeping him in check would be either Thrawn (also straight-laced, incredibly intelligent) or Gulan (our own intelligence chief). Why would we pair him with Ciaran? Personality conflict aside, Ciaran is probably the one most likely to be dealing with high-level information throughout the operation, so why would we risk exposing such intel to someone who cannot keep a secret?

'Sev' is Delta Squad's sniper, described as merciless and someone who works best at extreme range. The best fit for him would be a dedicated spotter or another long-range fighter. General Grievous is a close-range melee specialist -- pairing him with a sniper is the best way to keep him out of the fight. Our best bet would be to pair 'Sev' with someone we'd like to keep out of the direct fight, either Thrawn (who works best as a strategist and spotter, and is less impressive in personal combat) or Ciaran (keep the boss lady away from the front lines).

'Boss' is Delta Squad's leader, described as a non-specialist who's willing to cooperate with anyone. The best fit for him would probably be someone who would have trouble cooperating with anyone else. Thrawn is basically the same way -- highly intelligent, and willing to cooperate with whomever he needs to for the sake of the job. So why would we pair him with someone who gets along great with anyone? Frankly, the best paring here would probably be The Silencer, who is highly effective and has trouble 'playing nice' with others.

'Ordo' is the Delta Squad's best, described as "stubborn" and very reluctant to respect anyone who isn't a true Mandalore. While 'The Silencer' is a good soldier, I'm not sure he's the best person to reflect Mandalorian values. I'd be more inclined to pair 'Ordo' with General Grievous.

'Scorch' is the Delta Squad's demolition expert, described as 'childish' and 'sarcastic' but really good at his job. Why pair him with our intelligence chief, the fairly humorless Gulan? That makes no sense! I'd be much more inclined to pair Scorch with Ciaran (also a giant troll who we want to keep away from the firefight) or The Silencer (also has an appetite for destruction).

Wrapping it all up, here are the 'ideal' pairings listed above:

Ciaran: works with 'Sev' or 'Scorch'
Gulan: works with 'Fixer'
Silencer: works with 'Boss' or 'Scorch' or 'Ordo'
Thrawn: works with 'Fixer' or 'Sev'
Grievous: works with 'Ordo'

Given that 'Gulan-Fixer' and 'Grievous-Ordo' are locked in, process of elimination means Thrawn would be paired w/ 'Sev', which means Ciaran would be paired with 'Scorch', and Silencer paired with 'Boss'.

Fortunately, there's a separate plan that gives exactly that arrangement. Hat-tip to @NinjaMAster

Any intel Ciaran gets is likely to be related to this mission. Stuff we wouldn't want to be keeping secret from our allies. And it's already been said by the gm she won't be carrying any dangerous intel with her on this mission.

We don't know for sure what we'll find, tho. There might be secrets we'll want to keep for ourselves, since we've been giving info a lot lately. For a good cause but still.

Ah dammit, but I like having Ciaran comment on their banter, but practicality...yeah you're probably right. Editing~

And done. Banter maintained, but now more plausible. Carry on~
Personally I like to think either Gulan or Ciaran hacked their comms the moment we saw them. Because they may be the best clone commandos, but we're the best spies.

Smart man, Cat, thing.

In an op like this more likely than not we're gonna get some kind of juicy intel on the republic forces, or at least on the Kaminoans and their cloning tech.

Best to keep something like that close to our chests, for a rainy day and all that.
