List of King crimson's omake prompts
So I don't remember who it was but someone asked me to get up some prompts for possible omake write-up as such here it is. I will be dividing them up by section. This is just meant to get creative juices flowing and is stuff that I have a solid direction on. Feel free to try and write stuff outside of these omakes as these are just meant to be useful ideas to help you get started.

List of King crimson's Omake Prompts

Main Questline Non-Canon Omakes
A collection of fun little one shots. These will almost certainly be non-canon but they are still in my opinion fun prompts to mess around with and play with.
  • Cassandra Luthor in High School: Something about this just makes me happy. I blame Gotham Academy but I do think this could be a fun less serious romp
  • Lex Luthor meets Lionel in Hell: A good bit of character introspection and it would be fun to have
  • The Mad Scientist Disease: A short whacky story about why everyone with a high intelligence slowly goes insane. Clearly it is cause the building is cursed
  • Clones for Everyone: In which Lex Luthor clones all of his employees
  • Batman versus his Missing Rogues Gallery: Pamela, Edward and Marie team up to kill the Batman
  • Teen Titans vs. The LexCorp Young Adult Division: A short skit which has Robin and the Teen Titans face off against Cassandra's team of teenaged superheroes/villains
  • Enter the Light: A recording of a meeting of the secret cabal of Supervillains of which Lex is a part of in the future
  • The Joker and Lex's day out: The Joker and Lex hang out while Batman tries to track the two of them down. It ends with Lex having done nothing illegal and Batman being frustrated
  • Citizen Abra Obtains a Lex-Phone: Citizen Abra travels back in time to obtain an original model Lex-Phone to sell in the future as a historical artifact (this one actually happened in quest)
  • Tales of the TV: Write out the synopsis of an episode of one of Oswald Loomis' various shows (this can be canonized if I like the overall plot structure enough).
  • General Zahl Wins Everything: General Zahl was a character who the background rolls decided to screw over and it lead to him dying ignominiously off-screen. I think there is some comedy potential in having him suddenly turn around his misfortunes and suddenly have everything go right for him only to reveal that it is all a fever dream he is having as the submarine he is in sinks

If possibly rolling well next recruitment phase, I pray we can get to hire Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel as LexCorp's corporate psychologist before she gets hired by Arkham and meets Mistah J.

As I discussed earlier, I really hope we start taking more actions to upgrade our Intrigue capabilities- including spy drones.

If possibly rolling well next recruitment phase, I pray we can get to hire Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel as LexCorp's corporate psychologist before she gets hired by Arkham and meets Mistah J.
We already have a corporate psychiatrist.

We've also been told repeatedly that hiring Quinzel would be fairly unlikely, simply because she's such an obscure individual with no particular desire to leave Gotham. Realistically, how would we find her as a choice on our roster, aside from OOC desire to hire Harley Quinn?

For that matter, why would we want to hire Harley Quinn? There's no evidence that she was a particularly gifted psychiatrist/psychologist. The fact that one of her patients suborned her like that isn't a good sign even if it is the Joker. And we probably wouldn't be hiring her with the explicit plan to turn her into some kind of master henchwoman. It just wouldn't make sense in character.

I agree with your point about it being unlikely to recruit Harley (she did go to arhkam to write a book about extreme personality like Joker, so I doubt she would go for us) Personally I think DC is not really consistent with Harley some times they have her as stupid and slept her way through others she is actually good at her job and was always crazy Joker just brought it out

Hmmm... what about Dr. Victor Fries for Cryogenics research catering to the terminally ill (charity) and the old Super Rich ("cure" for old age so i can enjoy my wealth forever!)?

So the vote is now closed. Unfortunately I am having internet problems with my computer again so I am unlikely to get the upload up today. Expect it (hopefully) sometime tomorrow

@King crimson so I wanted to give a future Cassandra omake a try and while her going through high school with Jinx would be fun and full of hijinx to read about, I am not a girl so I don't think I can do it justice. So I'll go with her interaction with Robin prompt instead. I want a second opinion on what should Cassandra be like here. Should she be similar to Robin, a martial artist with a variety of gadgets from the LexCorp staff (knock out gas from Pamela, magic shields and armor from Rebecca and Mari, Robot drones from Lex, and hacking programs from Felicity) or would she have a slimmer version of the War Suit and be like Rescue?

I'm going to include a fight scene cause those are fun for me to write and I can't decide which one I want more. The Martial artist route would have a precedent since a lot of Robin's major antagonists are martial artists, but the War Suit would have a strong influence of mentor and protege (Batman and Robin, Green Arrow and Speedy, Flash and Kid Flash) so Lex and Cassandra both wearing armor would keep to the theme. Anyone could chime in and give their opinions too if they want but I am having a really tough time deciding which one to choose.

So I'll ask what might be a dumb question but why not just cut the Gordian knot and give her both the warsuit and the martial arts? The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Well, firstly it makes her a somewhat less interesting antagonist for, say, Robin.

Secondly, there's just this... vibe, you know? This genre thing. Martial arts conflicts are on a very 'human' scale, with both parties having strengths and defenses that are comprehensible in human form. It just doesn't feel like karate when it's being done by a mighty walking battle tank of a person.

EDIT:

Or, you might have Cass act as a martial artist with gadgets when she's reasonably confident she faces 'mere mortal' opposition, and only armor up to deal with absurdly overpowered threats that clearly require it. She could have a suit of armor on call like some of the 'autonomous fly around and show up to help out' armors from Iron Man 3 or something.

Influence from her Martial Arts teachers? League of Shadows members are Luddites and Martial Arts purists who disdain Hi-Tech weapons IIRC. But Lex's influence may prove a stronger influence.

Unless you go G-Gundam and her opponents also do the same.

I did thought of that with the "Why not both" meme but it does make her feel a bit too overpowered and not fun. If Cassandra could just stand there after taking a hit from Robin which is going to be easy in an armored exosuit, there wouldn't be a need for her martial arts training. It'd probably see use against stronger opponents like Cyborg but against weaker opponents like regular or peak human, Cassandra could just bulldoze everything Robin could do to her. This is where most of my uncertainty lies. Robin would need his heavier hitters to handle Cassandra which wouldn't be as fun to write about. Robin would probably need his own power armor to stand on equal ground but I doubt he'd do that as he had never used one, even when facing villains like Cinderblock (I'll say that Cinderblock still have squishy insides so he can be knocked out with a hard enough hit but the War suit will probably be cushioned so Robin will break his hand or staff before he can dent the War Suit), Adonis, or Trigon. In short, War suit vs Robin = not fun steam roll unless Robin tag teams with the team who can punch much harder.

I would think Cass with power armor Is not an issue as long as it's not cumbersome. Look at batman he is a great martial arts fighter but he has a suit of power armor to fight the heavy hitters like superman (he even uses one in one of his cartoons against Bane after his back was broken).
while I am writing this I realized I cant think of anytime that any of the robins used power armor. I am sure with Bruce thought process he thought that they would be a crutch but it's still a dick move to hoard all the cool toys to yourself Batman.

I am fully in favor of this idea, but who would Cassandra's antagonists be then?
Rocket Reds, Feurworks, Damage, S.T.R.I.P.E. and Barricade (a minor Steel villain) or even Steel or Natasha Irons could work. That's only sticking with straight up powered armor and martial arts. Others could also work well of you are willing to drop the mecha suit function a bit (like all Lanterns would count under that)

So I guess Batman route is probably the best, Martial Artist most of the time, but War Suit for special occasions. She'd have her team though and Batman only brings out his power armor (I only watched the cartoons as there are no comic shops, that I know of, in Indonesia) in solo stories without the League or a team up where there is already an ally who can punch harder. So unless things get really bad, the War Suit will probably be saved up for season ending villains like Trigon.

I figured it was a bit of an odd question. Here is how I would do it though. Have Cassandra stick to the gadgets and martial arts for a while and she's this terrifying unrelenting force that keeps coming at Robin from unexpected angles. However Robin can keep up and occasionally catch her off guard with improvisational skills and counter with gadgets.

Then later Cassandra gets bored and busts out the powered armor switching the dynamic of the fight from scary ninja battle where Robin can hold his own to him desperately stalling for time and running away.

If you've seen the Teen Titans cartoon I'd equate it to Slade's return in season four. If he was a threat without powers how does Robin stand a chance now that powers are in play. It's a similar narrative trick that you could employ.

This isn't definitive and you could ignore all of this, I'm just spitballing how you could work in both and keep it an interesting fight

I don't think Cassandra will be as obsessed as Slade is with Robin. I think the dynamic will be more like a Catwoman and Batman. Cassandra having fun, being a tease, while also seeing Robin as the perfect sparring partner to keep her skills up as a fellow martial artist while Robin tries to ignore whatever Cassandra is saying and be stoic as a rock like Batman. Starfire being jealous is a funny side effect.

I'll probably use what you said about Cassandra being a terrifying martial artist but Robin can get by through his gadgets, the environment, and a lot of improv.
