@King crimson: I don't have a problem with the short moratorium, I like waking up to see things are already rolling. Convincing people isn't exactly my superpower, even though... it is suppose to be... (You try having a 'psychic' dad who insists your family are all psychics).

Honestly my issue is more how even with planning and discussions, there's so many voters who'll drop in once and either ignore what's going on or never bother to change their vote later.

Given the sheer number of people you're getting, that's definitely problematic for anyone trying to push for specific goals. Maybe you could do attention-grabbing posts regarding vote tallies? People are more likely to notice a vote tally from you, being the GM.

Alright that sounds reasonable. I'll do little updates on what options are winning and what options are close to winning about five hours or so before the vote closes so that people can adjust and see if that helps at all. I'll also continue my habit of announcing ties well in advance.

To be honest, I do think that a lot of the arguments and compromises that arise from involved ongoing discussion aren't all that compelling when you view them after the fact. And a lot people aren't going to get as invested in a single aspect of the vote. And not everyone is going to prize efficiency of the best possible odds.

Some people might enjoy the back and forth debate over those subjects... Some don't, and I think people who do tend to debate heavily often deceive themselves into thinking there's an objectively 'best' vote when the answer is not as clear cut as all that.

Perhaps we should start allowing Plan voting for the action choices, also?

That way, there can be an actual plan with high and low risk actions...some of which would never get by on the current voting system.

Also, super disappointed to see we are doing nothing for Cassandra again. We are making Lex be a pretty terrible parent.

I believe Kkutlord mentioned something similar earlier and I stated that I have no intention of shifting it to a plan format as I feel the current format retains too many positive elements to making changing it beneficial. The struggle to maintain a good spread of actions is not a bug but a feature in my opinion.

Also the Cassandra stuff is during the part where you can plan vote so the disconnect their while related is different then the desire to change the vote format for the action phase.

So you're saying he's entirely untouchable?

Oh and pretend Steve Jobs had super trained people and magic users and super good weapons. Because Lex does.
[rolls eyes]

In real life, billionaires take considerable pains NOT to be directly associated with criminal activity because they are NOT untouchable- if nothing else, lawsuits capable of locking down their fortunes and assets and much of their freedom of action are a very real threat.

Ask Bernie Madoff or Jeffrey Epstein what happens to a member of the ultra-rich who gets sufficiently caught. They're not untouchable, just usually untouched.

A damn near success...is a failure. So like...
Are you trolling?

The fact that the enemy failed on a low dice roll does not somehow magically make them no threat. Next time they might roll a 90, plus bonuses for Martial heroes. We know they have weapons tech comparable or even superior to our own, besides.

That's fair. I think part of the problem came about because I was not expecting this to get as popular as it did (Thanks for that by the way guys I am amazed at how much people are excited for and interested in this. It means a lot to me) and so I scheduled things around what was ideal for me above all else. My schedule is changing a bit soon so I can try and shift things around a little. I'll get back in a week or so seeing how busy I'll be then and see if I can find a better time period for discussion ( I'm thinking maybe trying to post at 9:00 PM PST instead of shooting for 10:00 PM PST). I don't want to extend the moratoriums for too long but if this continues to be something that bothers people I'll do that and rely on people to self police rather than manually adding when the vote is open.
I think you really would profit from a 6-12 hour discussion moratorium, even if it comes at the cost of a shorter voting period. It gets people to be sober about things, which is beneficial even if you want actual vote outcomes to be the merge of multiple conflicting plans.

@King crimson: I don't have a problem with the short moratorium, I like waking up to see things are already rolling.
I mean maybe, but it combines with the lack of plan voting to just make it utterly impossible to match our needs to our situation. When there's not really enough time to discuss, AND there's no way for a coherent plan to bandwagon, you have a messy situation.

I mean, up to a point, yes... but at the same time, we've gotten quite a few perverse outcomes from the status quo, like this turn's collective vote to do more or less nothing about Intergang that has approximately one person defending it in hindsight.

I'm not saying there has to be obsession with efficiency, but just having time to talk about and present a variety of options and make sure our approach isn't dangerously unbalanced or blind to key threats sounds pretty good.

Perhaps we should start allowing Plan voting for the action choices, also?

He is under active attack from multiple directions and juggling a lot of things. "Terrible parent" isn't something you can decide in three to six months without reference to later events.

Do other people want a longer moratorium? Due to getting more busy IRL soon it actually won't cost me too much to increase the moratorium time (the updates will slow down a bit regardless of what I do) but I have seen other people get frustrated by not being able to vote for a long time. Are people down for the longer moratorium? If so let me know and I will adjust things as necessary.

Yeah, that's the kind of language that frankly makes me throw my hands up and refuse to engage in debate with people.

Seriously. We just had an Intergang stooge assassinated last turn, this turn we're calling in a marker from the League of Assassins on them and conducting a massive legal action to cripple one of their major legitimate fronts, and yet you're presenting that as 'doing nothing' and 'blind to key threats' and 'dangerously unbalanced '.

Do you really expect me take arguing with you seriously when you try to present such a hilariously biased 'objective' opinion? I know for a fact you can argue for pages about your opinion. That doesn't mean I buy it. Not trying to be rude here, but maybe people vote without justifying their opinion because they know full well whatever justification they provide will be met with mudslinging.

Any criminal that's worth anything to Lex will crush the police no matter how much we boost them.
It's not just about using the police as an additional layer of security for our businesses. Having good relations with the police has other bonuses like being a preferred source to buy from and allowing us easier access to things like the Intergang weapons.

We just had an Intergang stooge assassinated last turn
We had no idea abut the partnership when we sent the assassin so that's not evidence for dealing with them. It's simply proof we got lucky. Also, we shouldn't have had to waste our favor from the League of Shadows on Intergang when we had options to deal with them. Feels like a waste.

Given the number of options yes it would help. Gives time for people to both talk about them and also clarify how the actions work.

I really don't care, the people who talk are a smaller fraction of the audience and a lot of people will probably just copy whatever vote appeals to them most- maybe with a few individual changes. So I doubt it'll change much, but if you prefer it then go ahead.

I personally don't see much of a need for a longer moratorium but I'm a night owl who enjoys voting a soon as possible.

In all fairness, you have a point.

At the same time, I've got people telling me "Intergang is not a threat" and "Lex is untouchable," and I hope you'll understand why I consider that to be dangerously overconfident.

Or why multiple consecutive turns of almost zero Martial actions might be a bit alarming when we keep running into people we need to fight.

The position "we really don't need to tool up our armed forces at all, Intergang is not a real threat and/or can be easily taken out" wasn't popular before the Turn 11 action update, so it's a bit disturbing to see it gaining retroactive popularity now.

Wow, a lot has been written while I was asleep. Anyway, I agree that we should have most of our actions next turn be Martial based, along with some other actions suited for our heroes. I still want Project Atom though, because the possibility of having a hero unit that matches or surpasses Superman is a gigantic boon in my opinion, as we can also crush many of our enemies.

For Karl, I think that next turn we should have him work on the bone formula and the turn after that have him teach Cassandra biology, since he seemed to be very nice to her because he is himself a father.

Also, is there a chance that we can learn about The Green and have Pamela become connected to it? Because knowing about a force that was unaffected by the Crisis on Infinite Earths is one hell of a force.

Hey King Crimson, will Pmela also get a Martial boost from getting her powers?

The current arrangement is fine. The time crunch just makes it more likely for intense/aggressive debate.

Turn 11 Results
So the winning vote appeared to be Plan Green Magic Woman and a Pink One Too. Well this certainly was an interesting turn. You guys have a ton of subvotes to deal with (ten to be precise), Intergang began to try and hit you back, Lois has revealed what she is up to and Ra's ended up revealing a major secret to you guys. I'm curious as to how things will go as this has some very important decisions. Think over how you want to approach this stuff carefully. In the meantime I've got a lot of character pages to update now and I'll get them all up by tomorrow. There will be a 1 hour moratorium on voting this turn.

Turn 11 Results
The world has once again opened up to you. On top of arguably the largest boom LexCorp has had in terms of increase in workers Ra's has revealed an incredible secret to you. The new era is rapidly arriving and alliances are forming up to ensure that various factions end up on top. Of course you will inevitably dominate this new age of the superhuman but the right allies can make all the difference. These past three months have been more than enough proof of that. Intergang has finally made a concerted effort against you and has succeeded in dealing damage in a way you never expected them to. The two biggest blows against Intergang ended up coming from Lois Lane and Ra's al Ghul (your favor ended up paying off). Similarly Woodrue's attempt to harm LexCorp was stopped by the DEO not by LexCorp. The balance of power and alliances will be key as LexCorp grows till it can dominate the game. You intend to stand at the top once everything is said and done. Those who stand with you will be heavily rewarded while those who stand against you will be heavily punished.

[ ] Recruit competent assistants
DC 35
Roll 67
Amazing Success

Despite the slander Galaxy Communications has put out against your good name LexCorp has still remained an utter and complete juggernaut in the minds of the public. Plenty of people are interested in finding work and LexCorp employs numerous minds in a lot of ways. Vicki Vale's article has also increased interest in more people working for you. As such you have plenty of options to choose from.

Results: Recruit competent assistants subvote

[ ] Look into hiring a PR representative
DC 24
Roll 63
Amazing Success

Likewise your recent showings have made gathering a PR representative rather more obvious. As people have begun realizing what the role would entail more and more of them are getting interested in the position. They have realized that the role would be theirs to shape and it could engrave them into the annals of history. As such you have quite a few decent choices this time around.

Results: Hire a PR Representative subvote

[ ] Hire Oswald Loomis
DC 12
Roll 29
Decent Success

Oswald Loomis has been rather down on his luck lately ever since he was fired from his previous employment. While his bitterness and rage towards Galaxy Communications hasn't really decreased he has accepted your offer of a job. You hope that his rage won't end up making him become a liability as you would hate to have to get rid of a man who seems to have a place in LexCorp if he can just get a handle on his hatred.

Results: Oswald Loomis is hired to work at LexCorp, Prankster's Position subvote

[ ] Recruit Jinx
DC 34
Roll 64 + 13 (Roxanne diplomacy stat) + 13 (Carol diplomacy stat times cooperation score with Roxanne)
Total: 90
Incredible Success

You sent Roxanne and Carol to investigate the surge of magical energy that Rebecca detected. While Carol herself did not go she built a plane that had several dozens of redundancies to ensure that luck altering magic wouldn't cause it to fail. As such when Roxanne flew out to meet Jinx, the source of the surge, Jinx was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you had figured out how to counter her powers to a degree. With the promise of safety from men who were hunting her (and wasn't that interesting) and a place to hone her powers she readily agreed to follow your terms. Carol enjoyed the challenge of coming up with a new plane design, Roxanne got to potentially risk her life, you've gained a new asset and Jinx has found a place she can be safe in. All in all everybody seems to win in this arrangement

Results: Carol and Roxanne cooperation score +0.1, Jinx recruited, Bad Luck Charm subvote

[ ] Sue Galaxy Communications
DC 54
Roll 13 + 29 (Luthor diplomacy stat) + 10 (Mercy diplomacy stat times cooperation score with Luthor rounded up) + 19 (Mari diplomacy stat times cooperation score with Luthor rounded up) + 10 (Luthor trait) + 10 (Mercy trait) - 27 (Vincent Edge diplomacy stat + roll)
Total: 64
Decent Success

You are very glad you personally got involved with this issue. Galaxy Communications tried every underhanded trick in the book to worm their way out of having to face you in court. They tried to claim that you could only sue the various media personalities rather than the company, that their attacks were against you personally and not your company so they didn't affect your bottom line and that what they said fell under free speech. With Lois' recent article no one felt much sympathy for them and you were able to quickly shut them down and get the case to proceed. You weren't able to nail them for everything you would like to but you've already got them paying you a few million in restitution and future cases against them will be even easier to win.

Results: Galaxy Communications forced to pay Lex Luthor $17,000,000 for damages (impinging on LexCorp which is what tarnishing Lex Luthor's reputation does is very costly to the bottom line, hence the huge sum for this type of conviction), DC for repeating this action reduced to 34

[ ] Hire the fired workers from Mockridge Games
DC 28
Roll 54
Significant Success

One man's loss is another man's gain. Mockridge's business tactics might have gained him more profits in the short term but it left numerous talented programmers disgruntled and looking for work. You've taken the opportunity to bring those programmers into the fold so that you can benefit and push your advantages even further. You can let Mockridge enjoy his short term gains cause you've won the long term battle.

Results: 500 talented programmers hired (which will lead to a DC reduction for actions involving programming), E. Nygma subvote

[ ] Create a media company
DC 18
Roll 77
Incredible Success

It has taken some time but your plans to create a media company have gone off swimmingly. Your new branch company is up and running and has officially been set up. You can begin producing your own media and shaping your own narrative of events. Now you can combat Galaxy Communications in the field of business by outdoing them in the very service they provide.

Results: Media company founded (which opens up several options in the future), Media company name subvote, Early Setup subvote.

[ ] Build a supercomputer
DC 45
Roll 7
Significant Failure

What is it with computers that always leads to failures on the ends of your scientists? Do they not understand the idea? Is there something about computers that inherently turns all of your workers incompetent when they are assigned to doing it. In their attempts to begin building a supercomputer your workers not only failed to make any progress in doing so but in the process knocked out the power for a floor of LexCorp tower. This is particularly frustrating since one of Intergang's allies managed to capitalize on this mistake and kill a good amount of your employees before escaping. You don't know why it is that computers always seem to bring so many problems with them.

Results: No progress on supercomputers made. Power temporarily knocked out on one floor of LexCorp tower.

[ ] Construct servers
DC 26
Roll 57
Amazing Success

The servers though are fine, thank god for that. Their construction went down smoothly allowing you to store more data and improve your network capacity. This will make it easier for you to develop a supercomputer or improve your phones.

Results: Improve phones DC reduced by 12, build a supercomputer DC reduced by 3

[ ] Plug the leaks
DC 42
Roll 33 + 18 (Katherine intrigue score) + 3 (Cassandra intrigue score -12 due to living weapon trait /2 due to child mechanic)
Total: 54
Decent Success

Your company's internal affairs are now far more in order. Katherine has gone through the records of who was telling things to other companies and journalists and confronted them personally. She made sure that everyone knew that company policy was to not talk about what went down at their jobs. She even caught a few people who were selling sensitive information for money. Katherine tracked down and fired those individuals and Cassandra assisted her in ensuring that any physical altercations went their way. Similarly Cassandra has planted some extra bugs to try and pick up on more future leakers. You haven't totally fixed the problem but you've made a solid step in the right direction.

Results: Workers now warned against giving away information about work at LexCorp, steps to ensure secret keeping have been undertaken, 17 workers fired for selling information to the US government (not the DEO but instead the FBI has been poking around your company), Intergang, Galaxy Communications and Tobias Whale. 1 of those men attempted to fight Katherine and was promptly beaten up by Cassandra.

[ ] Surreptitiously collect the advanced tech left behind by Intergang
DC 6
Roll 45
Amazing Success

It is almost funny how easily you managed to acquire the weapons in a manner that no one would think you controlled. Using your control over the police you quietly had some of your men take it off of the polices hands for further study. The police accepted this as they are well aware that LexCorp is one of the world's leading tech giants. As such you have gotten legal possession of Intergang's advanced tech and the police are on your side in keeping the transfer very quiet so that no one tries to retrieve it.

Results: Gained legal possession of Intergang's advanced tech, Police willing to give you advanced tech in the future and are hiding that they gave you Intergang's stuff.

[ ] The A.M.A.Z.O. project
DC 70
Roll 25 + 30 (Ivo learning stat)= 55
Significant failure

Ivo has once again failed to make any real progress on the A.M.A.Z.O. project. Still signal jammer tech he has enabled you to engineer has been very useful. It is eminently annoying to have a so called genius repeatedly fail at doing anything. There is no specific block obstructing Ivo's progress this time (thank god) but his constant screaming at anyone who says hello or interacts with him and labelling them as "an incompetent waste of oxygen" has slightly dropped morale and made people unwilling to work with or near him. It's frustrating but with Ivo hospitalized following Intergang's attempts on his life you hope the A.M.A.Z.O. project won't suffer too many setbacks.

Results: No progress is made on A.M.A.Z.O. project, Gained signal jammer tech, DC if Ivo is assigned to this action in the future raised to 75

[ ] Use the perfected human plant integration
DC 0
Roll 41 + 19 (Pamela learning stat) + 10 (Rebecca learning stat times cooperation score with Pamela rounded up) + 17 (Karl learning stat times cooperation score with Pamela)
Total: 87
Astounding Success

Pamela has undergone the procedure and she has proven that you can give people powers. Karl and Rebecca ensured that the procedure went smoothly and that everything would work out to Pamela's (and your own) benefit. Pamela is more confident than ever and has established numerous advantages for you going forward. She has gained an innate understanding of plant life and has chlorokinetic powers. Her body can naturally produce various toxins, medicine and even an improved version of the pheromone spray. Perhaps most importantly Pamela has proven your conjecture about their being some kind of force tying together plant life. Pamela has begun hearing plants on some level and has labelled this force between all plants as the Green. This force might be a game changer. After all if there exists a unified force for plant life what else might be out there and what can you achieve by tapping into it. You don't know but you hope to find out.

Results: Pamela's martial stat + 17, Pamela's diplomacy stat +9, Pamela's intrigue stat + 4, Pamela gains the trait Green Thumb which reduces the DC of any action involving plants, botany, poison, pheromones or the Green by 5, The Green is confirmed to be a force and Lex can now start researching it.

Karl appreciated the promotion to Head of Medical research and took it in good stride. He was a bit surprised at his rapid advancement but acknowledged that the amount of trust you were putting in him was an honor.

Others Actions
Intergang
[ ] Attempt to assassinate Professor Ivo
DC 95
Roll 93
Bare failure

Using information they'd gathered through leaks in your company Intergang came up with a plan to kill Professor Ivo. They realized that he had a peanut allergy and used that to attempt to kill him by mailing him an envelope with peanut butter on the inside. Since the letter contained nothing obviously harmful it made its way past security and when Ivo opened the envelope he had an allergic reaction which combined with his illness could have been potentially fatal. Luckily Ivo was able to survive and was rushed to the hospital. Still Ivo is likely to be out of commission for about three months as doctors attempt to make sure his illness doesn't get worse due to the stress he is under. All in all while Intergang didn't succeed in killing him they got close and managed to do some damage. You have taken steps to ensure that Intergang cannot repeat this stunt but it still feels like you have in some way lost despite ostensibly coming out the winner of this engagement.

Results: Intergang has taken action against LexCorp, Ivo was hospitalized and will be unavailable to be assigned to any actions next turn. Intergang has ensured that allergens are to be more heavily monitored to avoid a repeat incident.

[ ] Steal from LexCorp
DC 123
Roll 138
Decent Success

Intergang has grown bold enough to actually begin making moves against you. They heavily invested in an attempt to steal your weapons from the government that was legally purchasing them. They managed to succeed thanks to their advanced tech and this has ended up costing you some money. Not enough to be significant but the blow to your pride is certainly there. You intend to make Intergang pay for this since if they insist on being a nuisance then you will swat them down.

Results: Intergang has succeeded in an action against the US Government and Lex Luthor one more successful action against Luthor and they become a nemesis. Intergang manages to steal a small cache of laser rifles.

Ignition
[ ] Attack LexCorp Tower
DC 207
Roll 231
Decent Success

Ignition is a terrorist from the small nation of Polkolistan who has an exosuit the likes of which you have never seen before. His suit is capable of generating massive amounts of flame, has flight capabilities, massively enhances his strength and durability and it makes him incredibly dangerous to fight. It turns out that he is one of Intergang's new allies who has been bribed to fight on their behalf. Ignition managed to attack LexCorp tower and capitalized on the power being temporarily off on a floor to break in and do some damage. Your defences managed to damage Ignition but not before he killed 27 of your employees and 34 of your security forces. He ended up escaping and it is very concerning that someone as dangerous as this has appeared out of nowhere. You need to accelerate your plans if you plan to take on individuals like Ignition.

Results: 27 workers killed, 34 security forces killed, Ignition encountered and escaped, LexCorp tower slightly damaged one floor is significantly damaged. Ignition has successfully taken action against Lex two more successes and he will become a nemesis.

Lois Lane
[ ] Publish an Article revealing the link between Intergang and Galaxy Communications
DC 0
Roll 77
Incredible Success

Evidently unknown to you Lois Lane had been digging up dirt on Galaxy Communications. She has managed to do the unexpected and has found a link between Galaxy Communications and Intergang. Apparently the founders of both organizations, Moxie Manneheim and Morgan Edge, were close friends and often met with each other. The two are still in regular contact with one another and while Moxie is no longer the head of Intergang (his son Bruno has taken over) the timing of the attacks on LexCorp by Intergang and Galaxy are so well coordinated that it is likely that the two organizations are still working in tandem. This article has condemned Galaxy Communications and Lois Lane has helped turn the tide against those who would tarnish your good name. She states that the sudden deaths of both Moxie Manneheim and Morgan Edge are especially concerning as it either means that someone is burying the evidence of a connection or that someone powerful with a vendetta against them has started to act against the group now that they've come to light.

Results: Lois earns further acclaim for breaking a major news story, public turns against Galaxy Communications.

Galaxy Communications
[ ] Further Tarnish Lex Luthor's name
DC 64
Roll 69 - 12 (LexCorps actions) - 45 (Lois Lane's actions) = 12
Incredible Failure

Galaxy Communications probably thought that they could get away with slandering you and attacking your good name. After all you'd been nothing but defensive for the most part. However upon suing them and draining their resources and Lois Lanes article on their connections to Intergang, Galaxy Communications doubling down on badmouthing you only makes them look more suspicious. The company's stock has tanked as a result of this action and they might soon be out of business. It feels good to watch your enemy be buried under the torrent of their own idiocy. Now you are in a prime position to deliver a death blow to the company. It feels good to come out on top

Results: Galaxy Communications ends up destroying its own reputation and makes Lex Luthor look better for being opposed to them

STAR Labs
[ ] Research Quixium
DC 65
Roll 87
Decent Success

STAR labs has recently been buying up Quixium in order to investigate the properties of the material. They have discovered that when an electric current is run through the material that it gains unique geokinetic properties. They intend to release their findings soon following some more testing

Results: STAR labs has proven that Quixium enables geokinetic manipulation

Ra's al Ghul
[ ] Assassinate all the leaders of Intergang
DC 150
Roll 146
Bare failure

Ra's al Ghul initially readily agreed to the favor you had asked of him. He told you it would get done soon. Moxie Manneheim ended up meeting a violent end (stabbed to death by unknown assailants), and Morgan Edge died of a sudden heart attack. Bruno Manneheim lost his arm in the fight to save his father's life and managed to get away. When Ra's sent his assassins to finish the job they ended up overhearing a conversation between Bruno and Whisper that revealed that Whisper was an alien and that the source of their advanced tech was from alien civilizations. Ra's decided to back off from finishing the job and informed you that he no longer believes it prudent to continue carrying out your favor. However he has no intention of letting aliens sully the earth and now fully intends to remove the infestation from earth on his own. Diana Prince
[ ] Eliminate Jason Woodrue
DC 76
Roll 435
Devastating Success

The DEO has been very suspicious of Jason Woodrue ever since his disappearance and the vague reports of a "Floronic man" hiding in Slaughter Swamp near Gotham. As soon as Woodrue moved towards Metropolis to enact his revenge on Pamela the DEO moved to confront him. When Woodrue refused to cooperate and insisted on taking back what he thought was rightfully his, going so far as to attempt to use an improved version of the pheromone spray to convince officers to defend him the DEO took action. Diana Prince grabbed a gas mask and promptly pulverized Woodrue until there was nothing but scraps of him left. The DEO has then gathered the scrapings of Woodrue left behind in order to study them. Agent Prince called you to inform you of this development and has invited you to help the DEO study Woodrue's remains since you are already involved in the situation.

Recruit Competent Assistants subvote
Please select up to two of the listed option. Keep in mind that I will not be revealing stats in advance for any of these characters.

[ ] [RCA] Felicity Smoak
This programmer has had a long history of getting involved in various smaller startup companies. While she hasn't had any major breakout hit her management and coding skills are excellent and make her a good asset.

[ ] [RCA] Chien Na Wei
Chien Na Wei has ties to several drug cartels and she has not hidden this information from you. She has excellent management skills (if one can get past her intense sadism) and is a skilled fighter. She intends to join a legitimate business as a way of entrenching her current industry more effectively and promises to be loyal to you so long as the profit margins are up. Chien is potentially very useful if you are willing to risk your image a tad by getting involved with her.

[ ] [RCA] Tatsu Yamashiro
Tatsu Yamashiro is an accomplished bodyguard with a large amount of skill in swordsmanship and in assassinations. She has some ties to the Japanese Yakuza which she is attempting to cut. All in all she'd make a very good bodyguard and potentially a good tutor for Cassandra but she isn't really capable of much more.

[ ] [RCA] Rio Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand is ex-military with a long history of service and a dedication to excellence. She has been involved in the running of numerous clandestine government tests most recently including General Eiling's pet project before leaving after Eiling decided to micromanage everything himself. She is competent in all basic fields and can follow orders but aside from being the most well rounded character doesn't stand out to much beyond her ties to the military which are admittedly very useful.

[ ] [RCA] Tony Bossworth
Tony Bossworth is a large very intimidating man from Gotham. He is quiet and competent and while not a fantastic leader he can manage money decently. He has the charisma of a brick though and he is quite off-putting to the average man on the street due to his steel jaw. His background is one of the easier to trace and aside from a brief association with the Gotham criminal Oswald Cobblepot the man is clean.

[ ] [RCA] Carl Draper
Carl Draper is a man who has shown a genuine ingenuity at building things. He has designed and constructed some of the world's most secure prisons and has kept everything within budget. If you want an assistant focusing on construction Carl would be your ideal choice.

[ ] [RCA] Noah Kuttler
Another individual with a talent for coding Noah Kuttler is an ex-bank clerk who managed to hack a massive amount of companies. The man is excellent at managing money and views your online banking service as the evolution of how transactions will take place. He is eager to work with numbers and is good at balancing budgets. You just don't expect him to win any fights anytime soon.

[ ] [RCA] Clifford Devoe
Clifford DeVoe is an old man who has worked as a lawyer for over three decades. The man has grown bored of his success at being a lawyer and has turned his talents to playing the stock market. He has also found that to be exceedingly easy. Clifford DeVoe is unpleasant but is genuinely one of the most talented applicants in terms of raw intelligence. You just have to be wary of him getting bored.

Hire a PR Representative subvote
Please choose the option you like the most from the list. This individual will become responsible for managing the PR of LexCorp.

[ ] [PR] Zviad Baazovi
Zviad Baazovi is a Markovian diplomat who has shown an interest in advancing to the world stage. He is incredibly competent at managing image and rallying people in a set direction but something about him just kind of sets you a little on edge

[ ] [PR] Claire Montegomery
The ex-wife of multi-millionaire Maxwell Lord is no slouch when it comes to image management. She has managed PR for numerous companies and is interested to give the position at LexCorp a shot. Still you are unsure of her honesty and you are quite worried about what secrets she and Lord might be hiding that could make a mess you don't want to deal with.

[ ] [PR] Delores Winters
Delores Winters is a popular movie star who is beginning to age past her prime. She is aware that her time in the spotlight is coming to an end so she is attempting to transition to a new job. She seems competent enough but isn't exceedingly talented like some of the other candidates

[ ] [PR] Isaac Bowin
Isaac Bowin is a talented composer and musician how ran promoted and directed the Keystone Harmonic Orchestra for over 30 years. Isaac has demonstrated that he knows how to appeal to the wealthy and that he can effortlessly promote something. His interest in LexCorp is unknown to you but he might be the right man for the job.

[ ] [PR] Marie Louise Dahl
Mary Louise Dahl is a Gotham born child actor suffering from a unique condition which caused her body to never physically develop beyond that of a five year olds. She has been utterly unable to find a steady source of work since her starring role as a child actor but she is eager to prove herself and hiring an obviously physically handicapped person might earn you some PR points even if her lack of experience is a little worrying

[ ] [PR] Veronica Sinclair
Of all of the candidates from the last time you attempted to take on the job only Veronica has once again reapplied. Her fight clubs have continued to make money and she definitely knows how to keep a crowd riled up but her expensive tastes and desire for hedonistic revelry still remain. Still the fact that she applied for the position again shows she is determined. Perhaps you should reward that kind of determination

I think I might need to start breaking the results phase into three separate pieces (Results of your actions, others actions and subvotes because this update is massive). I hope I didn't destroy anyone's device with this update and I'll try to make things less huge as time goes on.

[ ] [Early] Children's television programming
[ ] [Early] Video games
[ ] [Early] Movie studio

Let's not start with a news station until we can be subtler about it - aka, we learn how the industry works first by making entertainment and we can make our branching out towards News a smoother transition. Plus movies can be used to impact pop-culture and people's way of thinking. And video games so our programmers can do something extra.

[ ] [Jinx] Have Rebecca officially adopt Jinx
Does this means Rebecca wants to?

That went much better than I've expected, but as I've suspected, Intergang isn't going to be a problem that we can solve immediately and we should be careful when dealing with them.

if there was ever a show that we needed to step up our military troops it was this. at least it might be a wakeup call to some people.
also what is it with us and computers? like seriously. also going after Ivo that i did not expect, also Thank you DEO for being helpfull.

Well. There certainly has been a heck of a lot that happened this turn.

I kinda want to build the media company to be for children, and then as Cassandra grows up, also scale the media company to always be beneficial to her. Sort of like a 'target audience of one' kind of deal.
