Capriocorpus was one of the Kemmlerites behind the events of Dead Beat last year, but Molly doesnt know that yet IC.
She's a necromancer, and a bodyjumper; one good enough to steal the Warden Captain's body as the Warden Captain was stabbing her to death.
And as far as Bob knows, she is supposed to be dead. Dresden shot her during Dead Beat. So news of her survival? Very bad.
We need a reason to freak out IC and justify callimg everyone out to Michael.
If Molly knows what sort of Kemmlerite the Capriocorpus is, and that it is still alive, she has IC justification to yell at everybody.
Everybody. Gard, her father, the White Council.Even the White Court of vampires dont want Chicago to die while they live in it.
Also, we dont know what a Black Feast is.
Bob should be able to tell us what it is, and tell us how to disrupt it safely without blowing up a couple city blocks, or killing a whole bunch of people.
Remember that the last magic ritual that Dresden disrupted without being sure in Proven Guilty left fetches free to go to the Carpenter house as an unintended consequence.
There are very good reasons to get expert advice.
Also, finding out what a Black Feast and a Capriocorpus is = Secret Knowledge = Essence regen.

still has supernatural powers just less powerful than say dresden. Hes arguably as capable as our dad who other than the sword and skills isn't all that powerful.

I mean yeah it doesn't exactly give super strength though or super powers though. I'm not dissing our dad he doesn't have superpowers like the monk though even if their limited super powers with occasional consequences.
You could use him as backup.
Go for the kid.Then use the kid as a focus for Crown of Eyes.
Then hand the kid over to the brother, and go for Mathews/the ritual.

But Michael has the Sword, and he also wears armor to be sure.
From what I've seen from Divsimar and from what he could teach us, I belive his favored oponent would propably be singular or few low-tier supernatural beings.
He doesn't wear armor, he can stun people and block magical attacks and with his body-enhancers he can get a huge dodge-score.
By using supernatural martial arts he can propably beat up a young vampire or two, but when several people with guns shoot at him, he doesn't have a lot of options.
Dodging is limited against multiple opponents.
He can't even soak lethal damage, being human, so raising his Stamina with Qiao doesn't help against that.
His best bet would be stealthy takedowns until he isn't outnumbered anymore and that is a very risky game to play.
It still sounds as if she's planning to use Corpsetaker as bait to catch the Elder Ankou, and not just in the past tense sense of that being how she lured him to Chicago. It's just that Corpsetaker may be under the incorrect impression they'll get some of the power as well.
Knowing what a Black Feast is specifically might be helpful, in order to know how best to put a stop to it.

Calling backup assumes we have time, lots of time. We don't know that. There's an unfounded assumption being made that we do, but we've seen before that under the right circumstances mantles can jump to the nearest suitable potential holder of it, and we've no idea what prep work has already been done for this.
If, for example they just need Matthew's to summon Arawn, if they already have a ritual circle set up that could happen very quickly, as in minutes. Look at how quickly Harry could summon the Erlking.
Also, I imagine there's a fair chance they're grabbing/have grabbed Lydia to use Arawn's daughter as a bloodline connection to significantly expedite and ease the process.
I think not using the Crown to investigate her heritage is about to come back and bite us in the ass very, very hard.

it doesn't really change what we do if shes there we'll assume these things in character and quickly deal with it if we can. Now if shes not there we'd have wasted some essence and we need as much as possible.
We can't use the Crown on her as we can't see her. What we can do is call Daniel and ask him if he knows where she is, and to try to call her and ask her to go to ground/warn her bodyguards if she's not been hit already.
We can also, if we're being brutal, tell the car to lock the doors and drive into a wall at a hundred plus miles an hour.
Matthews has been a dead man since we let him be taken.

actually we have occult 5 what are some assumptions we can make for whatever ritual their doing dragonparadox? Details on how short notice this can be done, what they need to try and eat the mantle, what we generally think?

I wonder if what he exchanged for his granddaughter's life was his own, and they forced him to agree to use his death 'curse' to summon and bind Arawn in place for them to hit.
Our Occult knowledge is to old for the modern set up of Mantles and similar. It's about the deep past, not the modern metaphysics, IIRC.
Things like rituals to summon death gods and eat them are probably secrets beyond regular dots as well.
I wonder how to do this deniably. Just about anything we so could look like an Entropy curse, and she can just get a taxi right after and then we lose her and surveillance of her.
It's worse than just using it to gather intelligence in my opinion.
