FATHER QUEST - A Cartoon Network: Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Cross Over

...Okay, I really must know the original context behind this masterpiece
The source is called Scoob and Shag hosted on webtoon and lemme tell ya it's a wild ride.
He's beating up Scooby in here looking for a good fight in this context and trained in martian martial arts, Dudes become a battle junkie like goku:V

There are.. a lot of spoilers revealing more about what's going on in this instance, so your gonna have to figure it out yourself. I will say its anime as hell though.

Our diplomatic actions should be asking Moltar if he wants to not just expand his talk show but expand into a full on news network.

Then no we can spin the war hero thing into fighting for "the proper American adult way" or something more tolerable to father while still retaining a great deal of support from the wider American audience.

Ideally we'd be beating Mady at her game of intergrating the US gov into our overall cause.

It's not "heroism is a practical answer" we're not fighting crime or anything. We're kicking alien invaders off our planet and using that to further our own political power and agenda.

Our villain cred is at risk! Theyre calling us a Sooperhero. We need to do something truly evil! That also hopefully involves bullying small children!
We're bullying a bunch of abandoned space children and kicking them while their down, kidnapping them and using them as a power source.

Our Villain cred is fine we're building our "Hey US gov I may be a sooper villain but I'm a tax paying citizen whose bailing you out" cred.

Funny, everything you said is wrong.

I don't think Gems really count as children. Maybe Ruby's but even then its iffy. We also aren't using them as a power source, just taking them prisoner. Which isn't kidnapping since it isn't a crime to take POW. We don't have the tech to use em as a powersource and instead use jury rigged propane engines. And fighting an Alien Invasion is something Superheroes Do, especially without prompting and to the extent we are doing it.

We're legitimately being called a superhero right now. I don't see how that is helping our Super-Villain Cred if people think we're a hero.

Agree to disagree on this part most villains don't like it when someone else goes to smash up their things or country after all even a villain may want to save someone or something if only to take it over later.

Edit: If I was a betting man I'd bet that the more villainous actions are unlocked when we are either in cold shoulder or the last two rage states.

I think we should be spending our diplomacy action on Seeking out a Presidential Candidate. It's time limited and if we miss it we won't get another chance for 48 turns.

We don't need a puppet president, but it would definitely help with our plans long term. We're competing for political power with Mandy and Mandark. We really should be focusing our attention on controlling the US or on actions that contribute towards that goal. Of course, lots of actions can contribute to amassing influence with the government, but some actions will contribute more than others.

Right now the United States is a prize pool three kings are pouring resources into and that's ignoring it's own efforts. I really think it should be our current focus.

You do realize the most common cause for a Hero and their main nemesis to team up is an invasive third party, most commonly an alien invasion. Happens all the fucking time in comics.

I find it hard to avoid the fact we are literally being called a Superhero. Like, thats just stated in the text.

Like, the Gems didn't attack us, hell we didn't even attack them until the united states began to push em back. So it wasn't us getting revenge for them provoking us. We then began liberating cities under siege, and helping push forward. We didn't make a deal with the Feds or anything, we simply chose to save the day (Mostly to spend time with Stickybeard).

We had basically no benefit for doing this in universe as a villain. Out universe its because the Gems are near "Our Territory" and the most obvious existential threat, but like; They weren't actually that close to Virginia which is where I believe KND take. Furthermore no other villains were attacking them either; they were dangerous but a distant danger to a lot of people. Even Mandark in his constant attempts of One Upsmanship simply sent military aid instead of assaulting himself.

We can argue it makes sense to us as Father all we want; thats not the issue here. It's how the outside world sees us. They see a man saving an entire nation for seemingly no reason. This man has also made a giant defense robot and makes a ton of office supplies. We haven't been doing enough Supervillainy to counter act this action.

Honestly simply covering the election should be a good starting point. The other major News Networks deem it "Not Exciting" enough to cover.

Prehaps we should talk to the Guild?

Eh I see it has stopping a steamroller before it goes outta control cause the gems were tearing up part of candy for more of them as they tend to do on all other planets.

I mean the point im making is that it doesn't matter why we, the players, do it. Oh course we know how it actually is. The issue is our "Cred" or in universe perception. Now we intended it for good PR, but not to get called a super hero.

Well I mean in hindsight it shoulda been obvious seeing as instead of being on the defensive we came to kick ass and take names and bud we're about to commit identity fraud.

Let's be fair: I don't think we ARE being called a superhero. Just a regular hero, which is then filtered through Father's perceptions.

Why are we so fixated on Delightfulization? It's not even that useful.

Actually now that I think about it shouldn't our learning be way higher didn't father make the delightfulization process?
I mean, yeah, his Learning is 21, that's not bad. Probably higher then most people. But, at the end of the day, he's no super-genius, he just has, like, one or two good inventions.

Firstly, push them back is a strong word for what the US military was doing before we showed up. Halting the offensive, maybe.
[X] Attack Niagara Falls

The Gem army's unstoppable sweep through North America has come to a grinding halt, as the United States military begins to draw on more and more resources. In the forests of Canada, tank squadrons are engaging gems en-masse, and are doing better than you'd expect tanks would in forests. Recent fighting has focused most on the area surrounding Niagara Falls. If the defensive line breaks, then there would be nothing left to stop the Gems from reaching U.S. soil.

[ ] Fight Against the Gem Empire
DC 80
After watching the war on TV, you decide to take a more active role in supporting the Good Ol' US of A. You won't be supporting the war effort with your checkbook. You're gonna make this personal! The ice cream men will head north and freeze the silicon scoundrels surrounding Niagara Falls and Toronto in their tracks! Let's see if they can handle this kind of fire power!
Reward: Gem military expansion is hampered. Increased relations with the USA and groups opposed to Gems and/or aliens in general. Relations with the Gems are reduced… if they ever figure out which Earth groups are who
Secondly calling the gems "Canada's problem" is insane, the gems are a literal alien army intent on wiping out all life on earth. Other kings not putting effort into destroying this existential threat to all of us has no bearing on how it's definitely in our best interest to do so, as a Villain. We want to Rule the world, not see it burnt to ashes around us.

Debate about heroism aside, I really like that install a puppet president idea, I saw we should do it, what the hell, it's a very limited time option that will be stuck for quite a lot of turns.

I mean we can assassinate both the pres and the vice pres to quicken the process but still.

Well more the impressiveness of a full body and mind rewrite.
I think you're overselling it. It's mostly just brainwashing. I don't know if it even changes the body much at all.

Mild question, are you insane? Ok, but seriously, yeah, a puppet prez might be nice.
