Now I am thinking of game over lines by everyone if Coke 0 bites it, like Otacon's Snaaaaaaake! (Note: this is a rushed joke omake, so the character voices might be off)

Setsuna: Koujirou? You ok? Come on, get up! Get up you dummy! Please, get up!
Yukari: Koujirou! Come on Koujirou! No, no! Please no...
Sandra: Koujirou? Come in, Koujirou. Please respond. Say something, anything! ...Koujirou?
Shuri (I got nothing)
Anna: Koujirou down. No vital signs detected.
Everyone else should have lines for when they fall too, like in Star Fox.

Kind of a shame it wouldn't fit to have a goofy Slippy Frog type bumbler. Well honestly Kojirou would be the Slippy character.
Err, hmm...

Good luck with the art assets, decent ai, about 3-4 different game types (Let's see here, with have the air combat simulator mechanics, the rpg mechanics, strategic scale combat simulation, the social mechanics), and the debugging.

Like, this game can totally be made, but if you hope to actually get it made you'll probably need a rather large and diverse team, or to start reeling in your expectations and drop some components.

Sadly I only talk to a singular 'game devvy' type person and am not one myself, so I would not be of much help. At best I would be a good wall to talk to that offers very little input. Not to mention I don't know what my free time would realistically look like to allow me to help even on that level...

Good luck though?
Sadly, something like RPG Maker for flight simulators doesn't exist.

Could always do it as a 2D turn-based RPG like Fire Emblem in RPG Maker.

Is Armored Core like a flight simulator?
4/Answer sort of is, but in order to match the combat as described in-quest you'd have to turn the maximum speed up quite a bit - you'd be better off taking inspiration from Ace Combat more than Armored Core considering how ludicrous that would make the gameplay when you take into account how high level play looks:

I mentally summarize valcore as 'EDF 4.1 but it's all wing divers v ravager machines, and the power scale is about five miles higher'

That does seem like roughly how I'd imagine Valk combat looking at in terms of speed and scope.

I am really not a fan of the UI though. And I can't see any of the proposed tactical or strategic scale aspects of the game.

Again, possible, but really, really ambitious.
It's not really sensible to try and include a tactical/strategic type of game into an action game. You end up needing to basically make 2 games and struggle with appealing to fans of both genres in the same game. Much better to design the game around a single experience and execute it well than to try and make something for everyone.
.......

Yep, only with smaller mechs and more mooks.
This is only around 1/3 through the game. There are some levels with truly stupid numbers of mooks.

Hey, part of the proposed game was giving the players the ability to tactically and strategically make decisions on a live battlefield. In addition to RPG leveling, social mechanics, etc. And I stand by that being possible just, you know, a well made A or even AAA game. So I don't think it's going to realistically happen...

My stance is with the group that says 'just make it in a way inspired by fire emblem' for realistically making the game.

It's possible in any game. Just do it like how Dynasty Warriors Empires does it - you pause the game and order your troops to move around and engage forces or take strategic locations.

Never, he has his own super tech that doesn't require him to break reality on a small scale.
I didn't say what episode will he learn wave force in.
I said what episode will he learn about wave force in.

When will he become aware that it's a thing Anna can do?
When does he get to learn that in terms of combat prowess as well as being adorbs, Anna truly is best girl?

The former when either he hacks access super classified files or granted one, when the Instructors throws it at a T0 or when Anna throws/tells it herself.

The latter would be when Anna told him or throw it against a T0.

Which episode? Dunno, we probably hit Season 2 or 3 first. :V

Hmm, since the instructors are learning it... I predict Coke Zero sees an instructor performing Wave Force first and gushes about it to his team/Anna. He then spends several episodes working hard so he'll try to reach that level of awesome, and then at season finale, he finds out that the originator of Wave Force was his teammate all along when she demonstrates the advanced version.

Extra foreshadowing, it'll be one of the few times Anna would outright go "Don't be stupid, you'll blow yourself up and die, go train other things first."

I wonder what episode Kojirou will learn about wave force manipulation in.
Season finale? Semifinale?

Only after he learns what a Corrosion is.
Also after he learns that no, Corrosions are not one of Anna's super-special finishing moves, they're her go-to staple attacks.

So second season at the earliest, more likely third or fourth. Given that we seem to near the end of the first one already and the flight hasn't even gone anywhere near actual combat yet.
