*notices Avalanche's status*

Huh, LA breach is now in Portland....
I feel like there should be two Type-0s arguing over what to do with their cream cheese Higgs stockpile. Do they transfer it to the frontline to open new Breach(es) or send it over to Africa to help along a new Major Breach? It didn't help that one of them keep dipping their hand in the Higgs storage as well.
:V

PFFFFFFF LMAO

Exactly how much planning did you do before starting BAHHSCQ, @Avalanche? Were there fleshed-out plans for all -5 through +5? Was, say, Instructor Mom already planned as a character? Did you know how she'd act in a -3 as opposed to a +1?

HOW MUCH OF IT WAS YOUR GRAND PLAN???
Before starting the quest?

None really. My design process for BAHH Quest;
  1. The girls in Infinite Stratos are pretty hot.
  2. Damn VIS scans translates a lot of this mecha girl harem highschool manga.
  3. But all these series are kinda shit.
  4. So lets add aliens.
  5. Knight Run aliens are cool, so lets rip that off too.
  6. Woah the Ghost in the Shell world map looks really cool. Lets also rip that off. But first, we gotta edit it so that the Ural mountains aren't underwater...
  7. Lets write a generic opening with generic archytypical characters.
  8. Hey there's interest.
  9. Uh... quick, backstories, backstories, scrawl something up.
  10. For the mysterious super strong girl... uh this sounds suitably melodramatic and edgy. (Post 1)
  11. Also, she's Canadian, cause Canadians are funny. They're like... Americans or something, except further North. That's funny. (< I have no idea, I do remember my train of thought going along those lines though.)
  12. Shit shit, um, humanity lives underground, in giant cities, powered by alien bullshit, yep. (Post 2)
  13. Wait, lets set this in Perth, cause Western Australia is the Wild Wild West of Australia or something.
Things continued on from there.

This sounds a lot like my planning process.

This is amazing to be honest. Reminds me of my thought process whenever i DM a new campaign for my group (i.e., I wing it).

I was just thinking that, but I wasn't going to name names.

In contrast is Sage of Eyes, who ran an entire quest for just a few days shy of a full year as a prologue that determines what the main quest-lines setting would be like.

And then the voters decide to chose the most generic boring PC start. (Not trying to start anything. I left because I did not like it and I didn't want to be a disruptive element)

Even if it's become interesting to others, I had no interest in anything that ended up happening.

But damn if that prologue setting wasn't awesome.

Well, the distraction done, can we go back to this Quest?
If there's anything left that we haven't poked before...
There really isn't, to be honest. We've exhausted pretty much all the information we have available over the course of the last ~600 pages, since most of that page count was speculation, discussion, clarification, or omakes regarding the content we've got available to us. Most threads would just shut up and wait for the author, but this one is very active regardless.

If it makes you feel better, they've learned better. Turns out focusing on being a better fighter to the exclusion of everything else causes problems. :V
