I'm not too sure about the organs thing, actually, Since Anna uses her impellar field to work her body, maybe Durga just started ignoring them?
Look at the scene where she restarts her digestive system again; pretty much everything is off. Seriously, she doesn't have an active heartbeat at the moment.

:confused: :o:o :( :cry::cry:

^How I reacted once I realized she was shocked by her own heart beating again. Seriously, her first priority was checking how this would influence her shooting capabilities at long range.

I skipped several pages, is the thread still going Full Touhou 'Let's make a game!'?

Ok, I contrasted the two so much that it's not even the same style anymore, but yeah.

(and yes, I think I remember Anna being the tallest of the cast, but meh.)

(and if you're wondering why Sandra has the same skirt as Amanchu's uniform, errr... I don't know what you're talking about. This is slander. Lies and slander.)
I don't think her drills are large enough. Think Tangled's Rapunzel when she had her hair braided.

Anna is tall, quiet, intense seeming, shockingly gifted physically, shy, and likes cute things.

...She's basically a less statuesque Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh.

To the best of my knowledge the other Valks don't know that. If I've understood the conversation over the last few pages we're talking about the other Valks options, not ours?

EDIT: And not being able to run doesn't really stop her from being shockingly gifted at least from the perspective of other Valks. It just means she doesn't know how to run.

Actually, I dispute the 'physically gifted' part as well. Big boobs aren't really all that conductive for Anna's situation.
The only one with that trait is Sandra.
:V

So...? How much running do they do in those battle simulators?

Now, flying on the other hand, that's something she excels at. And shooting. And pretty much everything else in that portion of the curriculum.

In this school all the gym-class scenes where Sakaki excels would be done with Valkyrie gear and that's where Anna's top of the pack.

Well, finished Binge-reading this quest, and so far, there have been many hugs-rating worthy moments. In addition to the awesome (in the literal sense of the word) main updates and the larger omakes (13k words, wow), there is always interesting conversations in the months between updates.
I hope that all I read so far of this story was not near all that will be read from here.

Well on one hand we're probably 80% of the way to the next update (not including Beta) however Avalanche hasn't posted an update to that count in a long while. We should beat him with sticks until he starts writing again.

"The beatings will continue until progress advances" :p
I had the image for it but it seems to have disappeared.

You think shooting isn't a physical task? Better talk to the Olympics committee, then.

And I don't know what you'd call flying quickly if not physical, just like racing cars or planes would be a physical task.

Nope. Conventional physical activities are absolutely a thing. This was gone over in an update. Shuri holds almost all the records.
It may exist but it's not as relevant to the structure of the school or the 'show', though.

Impeller is doing most of the work.
Her guns usually aren't even physically connected to her robot Exoskeleton that would be doing most of the work even if they were.
Also for the record.
Even if someone was telekinetically handling their guns I would still allow it in the Olympics as long as they do not use it to fire from a closer distance than the other competitors.
I belive skill is being tested as much if not more as physical strength and stamina in the Olympic games.

Of course it is. Most physical tasks require skill to perform correctly (or at least optimally).

And yes, her Impeller, which is made by the machine that's basically part of her body, does the work of moving her through the air. It's still a physical task.

I think we might have slightly different definitions of the word 'physical'.

Haven't we at this point tried pretty much everything? Threats, bribes, beatings, tying him to his computer, tying him to his computer on an artificial island on sea where the Internet connection is very slow so that he can no longer play World of Warships...:V

We haven't done the last one, because we have no money to build the artificial island and it's a crime.

Ugh. I'm faced with the problem of having developed huge insights into Anna's past in the process of prepping Gaiden Quest and being unable to share them because now they're spoilers. *Sigh*

On the upside when it gets going people are going to be falling over themselves on some of this stuff. I've toyed with the idea of textdumping some of it to senpai in case he hasn't thought of it... Idk.

Urf. Another topic. Sewage systems. One of the big things we know about Anna's year of peace is that she got running water + electricity on. That doesn't necessarily mean sewage as well, but... It's Anna. She doesn't half-ass things. Anyway, I'm torn between arranging for there to be a real sewage system (requires far-fetched justification or a rework of my current backstory) and running on septic tanks. But I don't see how Anna could get a septic tank system running when, well, part of the problem is probably the septic tanks. 'Cause when they fill up, you're done.

Anybody got any thoughts on this?

... Maybe I should just go study urban planning >.>

You don't actually need septic tanks. What you need is an inflow of liquid (fresh or tap water is fine), a channel it can flow through and pick up and carry all sewage, and an outflow, if you are smart further downstream than your inflow.

Yes, you can just dump feces in the river. It's bad for the health of whoever is downstream, but you can do it. If Anna got running water going odds are sewage came along with it. At least early in the isolation there'd have been adults who could help with building and planning all of that anyway.

Let the person giving us free, high-quality content work without constant badgering?

...nah. ;)

(I don't usually specify this, but I'm not being salty, just joking)
Counterpoint.
If he was I would allow him to go un badgered, however he has made not made any movements towards providing us with any content high quality or otherwise within the last month. (Well actually its been longer than that however he did warn us that he'd be unable to write from June 12th to June 21st.)
Clearly we need to up our badgering.
