I get the distinct feeling that, by the end of the Quest, Anna's going to be living proof that humanity is more a state of mind than it is one of body.

I can't wait.

Well, thank you both, then. Where has it come up so far? I could reread again, but... I just did. I feel like taking a day or two in between ;)
Here it is.
Huh. Okay. Northern surburbs of Sydney just has a lot of tall people I guess.

Well it'll be okay, Anna has been slowly shrinking in height since the end of Alaska. Really fast at first and slower now, at the current rate, she'll be Setsuna sized by the end of Year 3.

....I wonder if he's just trolling, because that seems a little weird, but if not, well, I'm sure it'll play out into the story somehow :)

Not joking. It's not something that's been relevant so far in the quest so it hasn't been mentioned.

It's something that's scheduled to come up later during 'your' arc. MC asks why you seem shorter, meh, been happening since Alaska *omnious music plays* during conversation cryptic backstory hints are dropped etc.

The UN theorised that you're resetting to your biological age, they don't know for sure though.

I just hope we eventually grow back to our taller height. Tall girls are best girls.
I think eventually it'll be an "on demand" thing, kind of like how we can combine and reconfigure our guns just by thinking about it, because our body is just another piece of technology.

Hiding in Sandra's hair on demand. :V so cute.

Ah. I wouldn't quite call it an apocalypse myself if humanity as a whole pulls through it with society and things generally intact myself, but I think I get what you're saying.

Well, we've had two thus far, and we mostly pulled through both of those. "Society and things generally intact" is kind of fuzzy. I just see it as entirely possible that whatever it is that finishes handling the Antagonists might well be Apocalypse-level.

Elaboration: you think apocalypse, you think "massive destruction, many things leveled, landscape reshape through sheer power, anyone who didn't get out of the way is now very very dead, etc.." I think apocalypse, I think sort of Fallout-style "if anyone survived that, unlikely as it might be, they'll basically be rebuilding most of everything from scratch."

It might not make sense to some people, but it does to me.

The threadmark says that the latest chapter is 14. it's been like that for a few months and still the thread is going strong.

Is the thread mark correct and I missed an update or two?

People talk a lot here between updates. Rest assured the next one is on it's way, though, and is currently being read by Avalanche's beta readers. Check his profile for updates.

The threadmark is correct its just that it has been a month and a half since the last update, but we are still talking. This has ranged from a large amount of omake materials, discussion of world building, and discussion of little things we noticed/headcanons/guesses as to the future. Amusingly, it has been this random discussion that we found out things that in another game would be interesting plot twists. This includes the fact that Anna is shrinking, and will eventually reach a smaller size, and that her stomach is not currently usable for anything, if it is even still there.

Something to keep in mind, that Anna ends up about Setsuna sized doesn't mean that she'll become as tall as Setsuna is now. They probably still have a bit more room to grow, although given that the characters are 16 that's not a lot of it.

It's like... If you put 50 people in a thread, and you have them slowly go crazy, then less likely to get mod-rekt than if you put 50 crazy people in a thread.
That's... not quite how it works. 50 slowly going crazy or 50 crazy people to begin with, if a mod sees something Bad then the thread gets nuked. Simple.

Well, simple in the sense that all of them gets infracted/temp-ban/banned forever depending the severity of the Bad-ness. And the thread being closed.

And yes, we don't talk about mods having absolute power. It's like saying the Shadow Cabal exist, much silliness. :V
