Great chapter!
Though I do have to say people listening to a 7-year old even if Lucien is a Dragon Rider is a huge stretch of my suspension of disbelief.
Here is something.

Lord Stark just said listen to him:
And you gathered your courage and shouted. "Lord Stark! This bastard is going to get us killed." You ran towards the wheel and pushed the helmsman away. Taking command.

The Captain protested. "Boy, you are-"

"You are going to get us killed!" You spat. "Now if you want to survive, heed my order, and do what I say!"

"I protest this-'' The Captain began.

Lord Stark seemed to be in agreement with your statement. "My apologies captain, but he knows what he is doing. And I think that we are in his hands now."
Lord Stark Basically gave us command.

And most Northmen aren't going to say no to Lord Stark giving you orders.

So when he says listen to this childs orders, you know damn well they will listen to a childs orders, cause otherwise, they are dead.

Especially since that child knows how to deal with pirates from that part of Essos. As shown through Lucien's narration.

And later his own actions.

The Life We Gain
The Life We Gain

Hug Him: There are no words to be said… You just wanted to have someone around you right now… someone you could trust to look at you cry.

There was something wrong with you. That you were a monster that could not be seen in the same shape as a child. There was so much that you wanted to do… so much that you were tainted now.

Tainted and broken by killing a man… ending a man's life.

You finally let go.

You hugged Daemon, who immediately understood what had happened, and he returned the embrace, allowing you to hide in his tunic as the tears slowly left your eyes.

He then let you down, sitting you onto his lap and holding you tight in his arms. He was not going to let go of you.

Lord Stark and Manderly, about to mount up and face the traitor that was doing these dastardly deeds, said nothing to him, or you, as you cried tears of pain.

The only thing Daemon whispered to you was. "It's going to be okay. Your Safe now."

You didn't want to be okay, or safe…

You just wanted to be whole again.

Reward:

You are now Traumatized: You have seen a great deal in your life, from war, and death, pirates and men dying by your command. You are afraid that you may break. (All Martial/combat Training rolls will automatically fail, until the issue of your trauma is addressed.)

Sailing, Navigation Skills are now set to skill.

Your Reputation as a sailor and captain, especially at your age, has spread like wildfire across the Seven Kingdoms.

Daemon feels like he has failed you, and has entered a deep state of self-hatred and loathing, calling himself worse than the worst gutter knight failing to protect you.

The slaving Ring in the North has been destroyed, and the traitors put to the sword or sent to the Wall. The Eastern Slavers are Furious at the loss of product. But now realize that Westeros is not a good place to steal people from.

There are new rulers, and the Seven are one.

The Old King has heard the news of this, and he wishes to reward you both.

Lord Stark and the Northmen will support you, come hell or high water.

Unknown Effect on the Rest of Westeros. (The Next Rumor Mill will have a +10 to all seven kingdom rolls, minus the Dornish)
-------------------------------------------------------

Daemon was waiting for you, a few weeks later, with a letter in hand. "Seems the Old King is hosting a Great Council. To settle the succession."

You were not eating that much. "Why does this matter to us?"

He shook his head. "He has summoned us. He wants both of us to be here to reward us."

You sighed. "Fine."

The Grey Ghost was silent, but sitting beside you, he was trying to make you smile. And he was failing that.

"So what?"

"I want to go in on Dragonback, put on a show for the Lords of Westeros." He stated. "Do you want to join me for that?"

Do you join Daemon in his display of Dragon Prowess?
[]Yes
[]No

Do you talk to Daemon about what happened?:
[]Yes
[]No

If Yes: What do you say?
[]Write in.

AN: Enjoy and vote in plan format, please.

Dammit, dude, you did the best you could and we are safe now... you can´t blame yourself too much for this...

Ok, we need to address this ASAP, besides that, anything else we should learn besides court diplomacy and theatrics?

I am tending to learn music and/or poetry...

I mean, i do believe that was Luciens first kill.
And he is just 7

Thats the problem.

He wasn't there, and he didn't do the best he could. And he belives he knows it.

Well for one thing, talking about it might help. Plus there is the possibility that you can go home and be with your family for a bit.

Learning things will not be the hardest thing to do, but Dragonstone is possibly the safest place Lucien knows.
That too.

He's a child who did his duty to his country and killed for it.

And that is not something anyone was expecting of him.

In fact, anyone who hears about it who aren't ironborn (Who are their own brand of batshit)

Are horrified, and are sending condolences to him.

While also trying to get him to stay with them and marry.

Well we need to get the trauma thing sorted out sooner than later. Need to talk to Daemon about it, make it clear its not his fault. I think we should join Daemon in flying. It sends a statement to the lords of our power and our close connection to Daemon.

Lets get some flying in, show the flag and all that, let these fools in gold know that Lucien the Silent isn't just some bastard, He's The Bastard.

--[X] "I'm afraid Daemon, all I can see the pirates face, the sheer surprise at his own death as he falls overboard. How do you live like this Daemon, how are you able to kill with ease and end lives so easily? How am I supposed to live like that when killing feels so... wrong?"

I think this summarizes what Lucien might be feeling right now, horror and disgust and genuine confusion. Here's hoping that the dice smile on this write-in, Lucien sure as hell needs it.

Edit: Thanks @Gumiho for the plan name and format, forgot about that.
