One head perches on the window of a brith-room, the other opens beneath the feet of a man about to drink from a envenomed chalice... the third however opens to reveal smooth and featureless human form crowned in starlight who stands before a shepherd's 's crook, a spear and a flute.
Okay, what the fuck. Crowned in starlight? That's what the Seven did with Hugor of the Hill. @Azel, can you ask about this part and everything in it?

...so the Faith of Trios is basically Satanism? The LaVey founded one and not whatever Christianity portrays it.

Finding and achieving with any means, one's personal heaven upon one's current life and not with any promise of afterlife?

It's quite... weird. For Planetos that is. Where are the horrible consequences?

Anyone else worried that this is just delaying us?

Reminds me of the times back in Braavos when the Reds didn't want to let us see the highpriest because they were attacking our home.
Or when Uthero's servant didn't want to let us through to bis master, the Bright One?

Im not saying these highpriests are in the middle of any daemonic rites, but I'm not ruling it out either.

There's also the fact that apparently the priest is shrouded from Viserys' senses. We should not have come here without True Sight.

It's a little different in terms of active scenarios there, Artemis. I mean, at least insofar that they wouldn't be stupid enough to try a personal-level assassination that, even if it succeeded, only took out a singular target, only to then be destroyed by high level magic used liberally on their temple.

If they're planning anything it is probably a super ritual to summon some city destroying monster/Divine Aspect. If only because people are usually required to fervently believe their God is stronger than whatever the hell Viserys and company is.

If we assume they can turn sacrifices into magical effects as efficiently as the Old Gods, they might be a real threat.. since we'd be walking in prepared ground.

Maybe Oathkeeper's Blindsense can see through?

That or the top-level priests just stink of daemonic influence to the point that people would notice it as easily as they recognised Dany's former patron on her, back in her non-apostate days.

@dpara Viserys would have noted it, if he had X-ray vision he would bring it up all the time, that is awesome.

He does however have Blindsense himself, no Oathkeeper required anymore.

In point of fact, we no longer have to vote to "have Oathkeeper keep us informed of anything entering his vision range" anymore. Being a True Dragon has perks.

Poor bastard who thought it was a smart idea to go after a Level 14 Tier 1 spellcaster with special snowflake bells and whistles?

I have no pity for them.

Well, Richard already pointed it out. A few magisters will try to get rid of us by using assassins.

Or instead they will try to go after our little sister.

Or after the upjumped commoner girl we have to keep our bed warm.

...

I'm pretty glad that we have Make Whole and Prestidigitation to mend the holes and get stains out. Would be a terrible waste to loose innocent carpets over this.

Need to guard Alinor though.

Looking more at those carvings, Trios reminds me more and more of the ultimate boss in Darkest Dungeon—the source of all life, the Heart of the World.

@Azel, proposal. In addition to taxes, let's have every religion in the city send us copies of their holy texts and histories.

Edit: and no, this isn't just for the library. We'll get boosts for dealing with religions if we know more about these religions.

True, but I'm certain she has already seen to that herself. The woman isn't dumb and knows that being near us can be rarher hazardous.

And if they actually get her, we buy a True Ressurection scroll and bill the offending magister for it. Including a reasonable mark-up for our troubles amounting to roughly 10,000% in gold and their skulls.

Let nobody think we are unreasonably harsh.

I'm not sure most Magisters have that much gold, so if they do it we just bill them their everything, probably including their soul as a snack for Yss.
