Also, we totally should get all wyrmlings. Sorry @Artemis1992, we're the biggest dragon around these parts, there will be no competition }=D

Agreed, I don't feel morally obligated to restore all Valyrian dragons, but it would feel way wrong to reduce a true dragon into one of them, once you give something sentience you should never take it away, that's a punishment worse than death, because you are killing them and leaving a mockery in their place.

I mean, Tiamat gonna Tiamat, and evil isn't one big happy family. I'm not surprised given what we know about the actors that they're not being very efficient. I'm glad it looks like they're some time away from success, gives us time to wrap Tyrosh up, and start making preparations for a trip east. Greater Teleport is pretty much needed before we head any further east than Sallosh.

Turning the wyrmlings into Valyrian Dragons just seems like way too much unnecessary work--which would require Lya time for a ritual--when we can just go to Valyria and get some eggs there. Better to just kill them and use one of the bodies for Amrelath's new vessel.

Which we can easily get at 15th level.

We'll learn Arcane Spellsurge, one bonus spell chosen from Evocation, Illusion, or Transmutation, then retrain at least one Draconic feat (probably Draconic Senses) for an Expanded Arcana feat to learn Greater Teleport. After that, the entire fucking world will be our playground! Muahahahaha!!!! :lol:rofl::evil::rofl::lol:evil::lol:rofl::evil::lol:rofl::evil::lol:rofl:
 
These wyrmlings will make great additions to our gallery... And great-looking armor for our party.

Depends on what her goals are.

She has already released some of her children back into the world.
If they are somehow protected from being tracked by us (which she could achieve by fucking with her Cleric's mind so she can't remember enoguh for Scrying) then they'll ahve opportunity to grow and eventually become an established race again, as it should be.

Nah, Wyrmlings are not enough for armor. Maybe a pair of leather-gloves, but not armor.

With a bit of dedicated divination we can probably track down every single wyrmling. This is not going to be a huge challenge unless Tiamat actively shelters them, and knowing her she probably abandoned them as soon as they were set loose.

I kinda expected... well... just more then that.

It's pathetic flailing around like a headless, assholish chicken that gives Evil as a whole a bad reputation.

Running a "operation" like that would never fly over here.

I wonder if it's too much to hope that this priestess was the only one with actual ambition out of the lot. We definitely don't need Tiamat's minions getting more clever.

That's playing an extremely long game if her minions can't complete the ritual to artificially age one or more of the Wyrmlings. In the normal course of time, it would take centuries for those Dragons to become sexually mature and able to reproduce.

Considering that she only brought Wyrmlings through to Planetos, or used Valyrian Dragon eggs and reverted them to True Dragons, I think there might not be much of the Chromatic Dragon species left out in the Planes. That bodes ill for our White Dragon hunting prospects on the Plane of Air, but it also hints that some serious shit went down that really screwed up the regular Dragon species, Chromatics and Metallics, since so far every other Dragon type we've seen have been the rare, more esoteric breeds; Nightmare, Brine, Shadow, Frost, etc.

Don't worry. CE Tiamat isn't your well run evil operation. We have the devils for that, and we know they're mucking around already.

You know it's bad when even the CE priestess who used an apocalypse scenario as a mere booby trap disdains you for how freaking disorganized you are.

On the bright side it makes it slightly easier for us that she's nowhere near as competent as a devil, but still. :facepalm:

Sorry, but I'm going to fight it tooth and nail.
There are no chromatics I can accept living in our realm (read - entirety of Plane Material) while not being our sujects (with appropriate geas and vows).
The moment Tyrosh is ours and we have a bit of a breather?
We're setting out to eradicate every single bit of her influence. All clerics, all sellswords, all wyrmlings and all wizards working for her... EVERYTHING! MWHAHAAH!
Yss is going to become a fat, FAAAAAAT snake.
Hehehe. I'd really like us to witness in-character that theoretical meeting between Yss and lolth after so many years with the latter getting absolutely urbstomped by too-fat-to-move-snake.

And... Uhhh... With us not being able to find Aegon... Gee, this whole thing might just actually be a decoy.
You know what? From now on I'd rather consider Tiamat hyper-competent and overthink everything.
 
I personally want to take the Wyrmlings alive, we have enough gold to bribe them to stay with us, and I would like to see if we could influence them into being less evil.

She has only released 3 of her children to the whole world, unless she releases a lot more, it's far more likely that they will never find each other, and just breed a whole lot of half-dragons, of course those half-dragons might achieve what Viserys do at level 15 and ascend to full dragonhood, but 3 dragons is not enough to give good odds of the red dragon race reviving, even if we don't hunt them down.

If she has adult reds at home, Mantarys makes still more sense.

Red Dragon Wyrmlings are like hyper aggressive, unusually smart, Chaotic Evil toddlers with super powers. We aren't bribing them to work for us. We're killing them all dead, or in Amrelath's case, hollowing one out so he can take up residence.
