I know we had the knighting gifts made for Waymar as a surprise at Runestone, but I think we should go ahead and give them to him.

Given that there are like five names at least that you'll have to consider, with Barriston the Bold and Jaime Lannister locked in, I can assume you'll get back to me on that one, @DragonParadox?

Ah, something I forgot. Moonsong needs a job this month. Didn't @Azel have a suggestion, there? Anyone else with ideas?

Cersei is attributed as influencing appointments in canon.

I don't see that flying given what's been going on.

@Diomedon

Send her on a trade mission to the Summer Isles. ;)

It was also something of a rush job right after the rebellion. Most of them would have been appointed before the Greyjoy's rebelled and magic's return became obvious. It should mostly be the same at this point, I would think.

@Diomedon The only ones who could have possibly been placed on the roster before they kicked their rocks together about how dangerous the world is now is Mandon Moore, who Jon Arryn made sure would skate in using some stored up influence with Robert, and possibly Arys Oakheart in 290 AC.

Preston Greenfield was a later appointment, so he's not in. Boros and Meryn... I just don't see them managing to get their white cloaks either.

Makes things too easy on us, for one thing.

Wasn't that scouting out a landing base in Valyria?

I'm actually not keen on that. Sure, give her a daring job, but I have no interest in losing her, Theon, and Asha right before Tyrosh (and right after we just armed the Greyjoys).

Also, @Diomedon, have we set arcane marked stones in the Summer Islands yet? I can't recall, and my map of all our teleport points is more than a little outdated.

Not yet. We were planning on either sending a ship with Iron as our introduction, or trying to attract a Swan Ship to SD (to trade them Iron as our introduction). I figured sending off a ship next month, once we're sure we have enough Iron for our Legion numbers for Tyrosh go time and for the Night's Watch would make the most sense. It also starts to give us the diplomatic channels and political leverage to demand a toll of the swan ships as well (Pirates ignore them because they're hard targets, so it's hard to say "we ended piracy, in exchange you must now pay this toll"), which will be going up post Tyrosh.

As for Moonsong...yeah. I'm not sure I want to risk both Greyjoys on Moonsong's judgement of "not too close" to Valyria.

We could send them to hire more Ghyscari trainers. Yes, they could get into all sorts of trouble in the Slaver's Bay area, but nothing they couldn't handle.

About Moonsong, what do you think of a trip to Naath?

Let's find out about Wyla IC, while looking into trading options and killing slavers that often raid there.

Hmmm... Okay. This would notably be after we have the baby adventurers clear out Daemon's Folly. Here are the options.

1. Just set Moonsong loose in the Basilisk Isles again.
2. Have her go to the Summer Islands.
3. Have her go to Naath.
4. Have her go to Slaver's Bay (chance of sparking a war, which would be very annoying to clean up).
5. Have her explore Sothoryos, again laying plenty of Arcane Marked stones along the way. Nothing she hasn't done before. Seriously, she's actually explored Sothoryos before, one of the first things she did when she became a captain.

Not a bad idea, though I worry about those butterflies.

As long as they don't venture inland during the day and keep it to night hours, they should be fine... not safe, but safer.

Edit: What could any one of the three Slaver Cities do, being so far from SD, and not on friendly terms with our next closest rivals?

They're also too chickenshit to mess with anyone who is "obviously" strong. They prey on weakness.

Yes I am biased.

I'm partial to having Moonsong explore Sothoryos again. I want to have her go to Wyvern point and bring us back around half a dozen wyverns. And that constant adventuring is quickly going to see Theon and Asha level up again. :D

Here is the turn plan. Please double check for errors. Things that need decisions are in red.

[X] Plan Clearing the board
-[X] Fleet Redeployment
--[X] Trade Fleet: 9 Medium Galleons, 5 Small Galleons
--[X] 1 Small Galleon delivering supplies to Eastwatch, and cautiously making contact with the Crab Tribe of Freefolk to spread news of passage to a far kinder land to the south in exchange for kneeling to Viserys Targaryen.
--[X] Military Fleet: 1 Large Galleon (Moon's Song), 14 Galleys, 7 Sloops
---[X] Transporting Sellswords south to SD
--[X] Queen Rhaella kept in reserve for Daemon's Folly
--[X] Silver Corsairs being sent to Wyvern Point to look for Wyvern. If that turns out to be boring Gorosh is right there.
-[X] Turn Plan
--[X] Trade of Stone: The time has come to meet with the Xorn again and collect the Iron they have gathered as well as iron out a long terms agreement. (Viserys, Richard, Tyene, Malarys. 2 Days)
--[X] Return to the Scene of the Crime: Crafting Materials are too valuable not to take the risk. Return to the Baazar of Beggars to trade for crafting materials as quickly and quietly as you can. (Viserys, Dany, Richard. 1 day).
--[X] A Festival of Founding: Sorcerer's Deep has been on your rule for almost a year now. A celebration of what you have accomplished surely would not be found wanting. (Viserys, Richard).
--[X] Study spells: Lya wishes to spend some of her time simply learning spells from the various troves of arcane knowledge (Lya 5 Days, Dany 3 Days)
---[X] Control Water (Dany)
---[X] Scry (Dany)
---[X] True Seeing (Dany)
---[X] Secret Chest (Scroll)
---[X] Track Ship (Scroll)
--[X] Items of power: Bend all your skills to understanding those enchanted objects you still do not know the purpose of. (Glyra, Maelor. 7 Days, Viserys 2 days)
---[X] Mithral Bastard Sword
---[X] Darksister (Viserys only, very cautiously)
---[X] Warlock's Scepter
---[X] Shadowsilk
--[X] Into the Endless Sky: with the Plane of Molten Skies likely too dangerous to enter for at least some of your company, perhaps it is time to use the Deva Feather to seek kinder realms in the domain of air. (Viserys, Dany, Richard, Malarys, Tyene. 6 days)
--[X] Safe Keeping: The beasts you gathered in your travels could do with a sturdier place to hold them, perhaps even a more impressive one for good measure. (Vee. 10 days)
--[X] Spy hunting. You know there are unfriendly spies still hanging about. Try to identify them. (Garin. 5 days)
--[X] The Music of Creation: With song and sorcery having remade what has been broken by foul arcane flame the Deep One's spite, turned the Lyre's power to the betterment of your subjects and build great works for your kingdom. (Town Wall, Xor 11 days. Dany 1 Day)
[X] A Child of Unique Circumstances Part III: The final part of the riddle is at hand: How to assure conception by spell or ritual, a working that might serve more purposes than to aid Garin and Selyse (Lya 7 days, Dany 3 days).
--[X] The Cheesemonger: Who is Illyrio Mopatis and why does he want you dead... or tested? Why would he steal Lya's notes? All questions you would like to ask in person. (Viserys, Lya, Richard, Waymar. 10 days).
--[X] Songs and Glories: The Lannisters tarnish your name and superstitious fools claim you consort with demons and monsters. Even the foul Deep Ones spoke of making you abhorred, time and past time you picked up the gauntlet at your feet. Walk among the people of the Seven Kingdoms, learn of them, their woes and worries, then gather to you minstrels to sign true songs of your deeds. (Garin, Tyene. 6 days).
---[X] Have Vee drop them off in the Riverlands, the central hub through much of the seven kingdom's internal trade flows through
--[X] Study Memory moss: Now that you have a steady supply of the strange moss, you can begin the process of refining it into something more immediately useful. (Vee, 6 days Tyene, 3 days, Waymar, 2 days).
---[X] Safe memory harvesting
--[X] Journey to the East: With the waves you have been making in the Stepstones, it would not go amiss to send envoys to the Free Cities to solidify alliances or seed the ground for conquest. (Maelor, Glyra, Garin. 5 days).
---[X] Tyrosh, focusing on identifying and mapping the important points of the city, like gates, guard barracks, grain storage, etc, and how many ships are currently in harbor.
--[X] The Music of Creation: With song and sorcery having remade what has been broken by foul arcane flame the Deep One's spite, turned the Lyre's power to the betterment of your subjects and build great works for your kingdom. (Town Waterworks, Xor 9 days. Dany 3 Days).
--[X] A Home for the Singers: Unlike many of the odd beings you have populated your realm with the Children of the Forest cannot dwell fully alongside man, at least not yet. A place should beset aside for them they they may hopefully grow and prosper. (Vee. 7 days).
[X] Journey to the East: With the waves you have been making in the Stepstones, it would not go amiss to send envoys to the Free Cities to solidify alliances or seed the ground for conquest. (Maelor, Glyra, Garin. 5 days).
-[X] Tyrosh, focusing on gathering information about notables in the city. Who are the most prolific slave takers, the cruelest slave breakers and torturers? Who is known for mistreating slaves even by Tyrosh's low standards? And are there any former great houses on the edge of ruin?
--[X] The Dragon in the Tower: Amrelath the accursed is still bound inside your tower. A tower that you can get a better use of once he's gone. You failed once to oust him. Perhaps with help, you can get rid of him now? (Dany, 4 days, Lya, Malarys 6 days)
--[X] Return of the Wandering Son: For over two years Waymar Royce has been your loyal companion, and an exile from the lands of his birth. While you cannot see that he is given the honor he deserves yet, you can travel in secret to those lands that he may look upon his kin... and you can gather support from the Royces and perhaps other lordly houses of the Vale of Arryn (Viserys, Richard, Waymar. 6 days)

@Diomedon, here's everything I've come up with so far. For the current crafting schedule, I think we're best served just using our current crafting materials to have Leila make everyone important a Belt of Healing.

-[] Have Lya Fabricate sets of Mithral Fullplate for Tyene, Dany, and Vee, using 82.5 lbs of our Mithral and leaving 194 lbs in reserve.
-[] In her spare time, Lya should be Fabricating weapons and armor for our Legions.
-[] Tyene, Dany, and Vee all train to become proficient with their armor.
-[] Under the guidance of the Children of the Forest, plant weirwood cuttings and make a small grove of weirwood saplings, far apart enough that they have plenty of room to grow. Have this place very near where the Children intend to live, if not directly inside where they intend to live (the Children's choice).
-[] Plant weirwood cuttings on every island you rule in the Stepstones aside from Sorcerer's Deep: Saltcliff, Westhaven, Deepcleft, and Port Sorrow. Also see if the men at He'Nekar have any objections to you planting a Weirwood Tree there.
-[] Purchase Fine Maps of the following to pave the way for adventuring, exploring, and conquest: Giant World Map, Large Essos Map, Large Westeros Map, Tyrosh Map, Braavos Map, Myr Map, Pentos Map, Lorath Map, Qohor Map, Norvos Map, Volantis Map, Mantarys Map, Tolos Map, Ib Map, Sothoryos Map, Summer Islands Map, Slaver's Bay Map, Astapor Map, Mereen Map, Yunkai Map, Basilisk Isles Map, North Map, Vale Map, Riverlands Map, Stormlands Map, Reach Map, Westerlands Map, Iron Islands Map, Dorne Map.
-[] Equipping our subjects
--[] Baby adventurers & important subjects receive basic adventurer's gear (mainly Belts of Healing at first, followed by staggered gifts of Amulets of PfE when we can have them made (Rhaella is first in line for an Amulet of PfE).
--[] Speak with Bronn, give him the (identified) enchanted mithral bastard sword and a +1 adamantine dirk, and a +1 armor of whatever type he prefers. Also present him with vital adventurer's gear once crafted (Amulet of PfE, Belt of Healing, etc).
--[] Gift Argo a +1 Razor-Sharp Great Axe commissioned from your mage smiths, and perhaps whatever adventurer's gear you've managed to have crafted (at least a Belt of Healing).
--[] For now until we get her something better, Valaena receives the Blessed +1 Thinblade to wield against any monsters she faces.
--[] Lya fabricates Dragonhide Armor and a Dragonbone Bow for Soft Strider, and we find out what else can be harvested from the Velroc's Corpse. We've already gotten a Dragonbone Bow for Theon, but surely there's more.
-[] Valaena, Theon, Asha, Leila, etc (basically every baby adventurer) goes to scout Daemon's folly to purge any monsters or other things hiding there to clear it out as a future Legion fortress.
-[] Reva and Liset spend time near the Heart Trees and learn whatever magic Bloodraven tries to teach them.
-[] Azema stays put and keeps learning magic.
--[] We ask Azema exactly what connection her mother had to the Seven.

Hmm... @Diomedon, maybe we should have a minor action to send Aradia (and NOT Azema) and maybe Bronn and one other person to either:
1) Root out the devil cultists in the Stormlands, even if we're deprived of sacrifices at least the chosen of the Seven or the Westerosi adventurers won't get the credit
2) Find the baby pegasus in by the Wall and bring it back to SD

EDIT: Also, I'd like to make that Dragonscale Cloak for Ser Richard from the Aspect's corpse soonish.

EDIT 2:

[X] Diomedon

I think if we don't send Azema, we'll find out she "volunteered" and simply showed up at Greenstone to "help." Better to just give her the first greater disguise ribbon and have it in the middle of the month so we have some control. Azema and Aradia do have the advantage of both being able to natively fly, so we don't even need to arrange transport.
