I would have though the forested mountain area makes even that hard to notice. There just isn't a particular long view, from any point on the ground.
This is a land where Giants and even larger Mammoths can hide.
Unless we have someone looking from the air.
That would be fun, though our options to loot it would be limited here.

Or at least take some time and effort.
Dragons don't stricktly need that, unless they have a really big hoard.Maybe we could get extra lucky and it would be carrying a significant portion of its more valuable possessions around using the Hoard Gullet spell.
!Hint! @DragonParadox !Hint!
Are you implying we would not loot the Wildlings too while we are at it?And that's the story of the time Viserys took over a Wildling-tribe, just to get them to construct sleds for im so he could carry his loot south on them...
That's why I said take over. Are you implying we would not loot the Wildlings too while we are at it?
Good. I merely wanted to make sure that our sticky-fingers-policy is still in full effect. That's why I said take over.
Most people could have paid or intimidated them to get those sleds.
I didn't say it's smart. I said it's a logical, i.e, reasoned decision.Yeah. Because a bunch of warriors without any logistics or supply behind them is so obviously going to work out.
It's not logical. It's stupid.
This is why the INT 6 Barbarian isn't allowed to make plans.
Alternatively, they are just werebears rather than druids, rangers etc.I didn't say it's smart. I said it's a logical, i.e, reasoned decision.
But think about it: their plan is essentially to have a few dozen low-to-mid level Rangers and Druids as a tribe. That works out perfectly. Even a single Druid can make logistics enormously simpler.
So we comes the time for a fighting retreat against the Others, they won't be dragging the elderly or the lame with them.
So, is no one worried we will waste a ton of spells keeping our buffs up until whatever is it waits?
Because that was noted as a serious problem.
Oh well, let's hope hubris won't let us down.
@DragonParadox don't forget we also have Persisted Life's Grace in addition to our normal routine.
@Goldfish huh, that version didn't show up on my browser. Yeah, let's work that back in, in place of Panacea on odd days.
With a +3 CHA template she'd still manage a Chained Reached Harm.
