[X] Stay here and untangle it yourself
-[X] Some capable administrators and guards will be placed in control of the town and get comfortable carrying out daily tasks, to which we expect them to continue these duties when we finally leave.
-[X] Call a meeting with all the who's whos and busybodies, the important people of Westhaven who haven't been killed off, and display our ability to come and go at any time via teleportation. Make no secret that those who attempt to sow discontent between the people living here and our subordinates will experience our displeasure without delay.
-[X] Ask Vee how long she thinks it would take for her to make Westhaven self-sufficient if she had assistance from the Lampad and Dany using Womb of the Earth.

We really need a Hand of the King. The trouble is, how the heck do we get one? They can't be too lowborn, or female, because we need the stupid Westerosi to respect them enough to listen. We need to trust them, and they can't be too chaotic. I'm not sure what steps we'd even take to find someone competent, trustworthy, the right birth, and the right personality, who we can trust.

"Stannis, someone told me you wanted some paperwork?"

I hesitate to add more to the vote wrangle, but @Duesal , maybe something about bringing over a few of alinors people and some gaurds and get them working with whatever locals step up (need local figures in local government) after a bit? Us and our f fiends being here is for transtion/crises only :)

I'm pretty sure that is implied in the conversation, but if I were DP, I'd possibly skim over the last... However many posts, this particular debate was not fun to read/wath/partake in.

Either way, hugs* all round

*"hugs" in this context refers to blackjack and hookers, or vice of choice. Mhhhh. Vice. :)

@Dimodeion bully/convince stannis to be alinors figurehead?

If that fails, alinor + glare from us for a bit.

If we need to escalate past glares, we can charge a fee from the surving family members for the time wasted.

I am fully serious that alinor should run Westeros. Smash that patriarchy while everthing else is in flux with this changing world. I would imagine people would hold onto thier social mores harder in such times, but... Kinda like pig iron, hard but brittle.

Don't understand why people think that Westhaven is so important, sure its a strategic location but I trust our party to handle things. If anything goes wrong we're literally a teleport away.

If ppl rebel then fine, we can just wait a bit till we're less busy then come back as a LHD and purge leaders place in fire.

Two words. Imperial Bureaucracy. Then people will change the "two certainties in life" saying to "three certainties in life".

Death, paperwork, and taxes.

Guys, we have a problem here: of all our friends we have too much Chaotic characters, which in my opinion utterly unable take Lordship, and only two Lawful personas: Waymar and Ser Richard.

I guess Waymar should be able to work as Lord of this place (discounting that he's 14 and was not educated properly for the last one or two years).
Ser Richard is suitable for Lordship but he will need daily dentist appointment, therapist and dedicated morgue for those who talk too much.

@Azel, is it possible to hire LE Efreeti to work for us for one year?

Edit:
@DragonParadox, does Hermetia have some suitable education? Or that girl we just freed from Lannisters? Yes, both of them are women, and too young at that, but we will need Waymar out of that place next turn to visit Royce.

It's not that much of a problem. They can hire Lawful NPCs to do the stewardship for them while they go off and do adventuring stuff. Basically they can go get their own Alinors.

@Chulupey pancaea for teeth (every two days, so we don't need regeneration) and cremation for your average corpse.

"Cremation; it's just good sense"

i think by now, even if the people who originally voted to do this ourselves returned and changed their vote, it would still be a clear lead for goldfish/duesal (add a couple magpie wings to the avatar?), so i think its safe to call it.
sorry if other people did not enjoy the discussion as much as i did, again, engineer, like wrestling in the mud with a pig.

Chaotic lords are fine, especially in Chaotic locales. Neutral lords are definitely fine. Either is preferable to Evil outsiders, at the very least. Seriously, I don't get why some people (I thought it was just Azel, but apparently not) are so insistent on getting subordinates that are guaranteed to betray us as soon as it's beneficial. Search out LE mortals if you must - they're going to be more loyal and reasonable than the Evil outsiders anyhow - but then our relationships with i.e. Tor are bad for a reason. Evil outsiders will be worse.

THAT'S BECAUSE UGLO IS SUPRESSING THEIR MESSAGES.

But we have so much to do in general, even if the firs haven't started yet.

If we can actually get this done we might actauully get to visit Pentos!

Also, sacrafice the lives of some tortises and a fox for the restoration of thier souls* or their everything for sone swanky boots and or bilgestone clearing or...

Also trade deals with the bazzar

Actually, how many days has it been since we left the Xorn. I keep loosing track of time.

Edit: I also do not understamd peoples fasination with LE over LN/G. It not annoying or in any way bad that they like them, just confusing why they would go for things that are, by their inherant nature, going to want to betray us over things that... Wouldn't want to betray us.

Guys as far as you know nothing is on fire right now. If the Dorne situation were critical Doran would have sent a message, Bloodraven is not calling any alarms up north etc...

I know! We're working on getting everything nice and ablaze as fast as we can. :V

More seriously, you've done a good job of selling to us that NPCs do stuff of their own volition, and that the wider world will keep moving without us. So we want to keep ahead of everyone else, which is causing us to panic a little.

So we chose to stay ahead of a two little girls and an unaging half-tree instead of the literally-5-minutes-ago conquered military outpost. I hope we chose right.

Well, if it makes y'all feel better, I'm sure this was just the warm-up for the turn vote.

A deep seated desire to have a companion who shares my values.

Viserys will never turn LE, no matter how LE the laws and speeches are.

Speaking of laws...
@DragonParadox, could you spoiler us what we will have to vote on when the now locked in law action concludes?

I would like to prepare something so that we don't get bogged down on that vote and have some nights to discuss and brainstorm.
