Give her a trial. See what we can glean from her and if, and I mean if, she seems to be genuinely capable of loyalty to us (Press X to Doubt) then and only then do we even consider it. If we are killing her we make that shit permanent.
She needs to be fully interrogated and everything decided upon before any trial we stage.

If we want to kill her, we will run the trial accordingly, making sure that she looks like a horrible person that actively participated in Tywins various crimes.
If we want to let her live, we softball her during the trial and shift the blame for everything over to Tywin.

Major difference there.

That works well enough. I do have a request. Can we make a bombastic and over the top show of freeing the Golden Shield mages?

Okay seriously why. it makes no sense to do that imo?

why do you hate her so much anyway.
Dude, this is standard practice for powerful enemies.

We bookify them, get the knowledge out of their heads, then execute them.

We've done this multiple times. Lanna is not special here.

As for why I hate Lanna, I don't. I don't trust her, and I am confident she has no reason to like us. At all. That is not an acceptable set of circumstances when you're considering sparing a goddamn archmage. When it's someone that powerful you finish the job.

i'm pretty sure we still have multiple bookified people in our library who we have not excecuted?
also i thought you meant literally ripping the pages which are her memory out of her head. instead of you know reading it normally. that's my bad

We did this for various fiends who we then sacrificed.

We did this for f!Aegon who we then sacrificed.

We'd be doing the exact same for Lanna, just minus the sacrifice part. She's only teetering on the edge of fertilization, so she gets a normal execution instead.

No one hates her here. Well most of us have no reason to like her but no one really hates her. The issue most of us have is loyalty. Can she be loyal after the literal scrubbing of House Lannister's name from the history books? Can she be loyal considering that her entire extended family will be treated like pariahs for at least two generations?

At the end of the day she is a Lannister by marriage and one that has done some terrible things. The issues are "How bad are the crimes committed?" and "Can she be loyal after we basically tarnish her family name?"

We only keep those books around due to those being immortals who'm we can't transcribe in their entirety, so we risk losing valuable intel if we finish them off. Lanna would be a much more compact volume.

None the less, once the Stillborn Deity comes around, I want to feed all remaining books into it. That way we can keep the knowledge, though not quite as convenient, but no longer have the risk of keeping those people imprisoned.

She's also a Lannister by birth, which is why I believe she's not going to be able to swallow her rage.

This would be an ideal place for that first Mythic Rank.
Legends aren't always grand things, like blowing up mountains or founding an empire.

Sometimes they're built on the hushed whispers of those who survived as you danced between the shadows of an enemy's greatest stronghold, silencing those who thought themselves powerful or hidden behind mighty wards.

It's honestly so much better such got captured alive. If not, time would now be spent worrying about all the hilariously many methods an archmage has to resurrect themselves in some hidden location.

On a related note, animating them as Bloody Skeletons and shoving such in a box, under wards somewhere, stops the majority. Well done to that Praetorian.

A small note here, she is also a Lannister bu birth. I think she and Gerion are something like third cousins.

very fair. i just miss remembered some stuff in that case.

but yeah i want to get a look at Lanna's thoughts and mental state before we decide anything. her death is likely but i would love to get another 9th lvl caster

In the end it comes down to Suspension of Disbelief.

It wouldn't make sense for her to be anywhat okay with anything we do. However one turns it.

But some players want to loot, and DP softballed issues based off desires expressed in-thread before. Ergo the incessant arguing. For years. Just to hold expectations in check.

She's no different than any other enemy we cant reconcile with.
She may not deserve sacrifice, but death is likely the only reasonable way forward.

And the only bookified people we have are 3 Knowledge-Devils we keep pulling said knowledge from.
And 2 high Fey of CoS, whose lore is being transcribed this very mknth. And next very mknth. ...Until we are through with them, basically.
Then it's into a God-Maw with them.

You fear Pokémon. But let me instead propose a different entertainment franchise.

Judge Judy Westeros edition!

But seriously, I'd love a bunch of trials that culminate in Tywin. Is it likely due to security concerns? No. Do I still hope? Yes
I absolutely want to hold a trial for Tywin.

That would be such a fucking own.

Well, our two Tomes of the Cabal Devil should be tossed to the spell pool. Either directly or through a loyal mage making a scroll for every spell in there and tossing it in the spell pool.

Should take them like a year or two if they do it the slow way.

Not just by marriage actually! She was born as part of a branch Lannister family (her father is cousin to Jaime and Cersei through Joanna) and Tywin ended up bethrothing her to some rando for political reasons she ended up running away with magic and joining Gerion, and then set her hat on her very distantly related older, but hot male relative. The family of the guy she stood up at the altar was one of the first mind control targets since they were peeved at the slight.

House Jast. I remember now. This was a point of order that we made. Already not looking good for her.
