We have gone around it before, haven't we?
I remember this for instance:

And there was a spell to imbue Undead with life to take away some Undead traits...

Huh. Didn't we do this to capture that Moon Goddess' Priest way, way back then in Braavos?

Aaaah, the times that went past. I yet remembers it fondly.

@Goldfish, I don't remember if we yet used that ability that allows us to mimic a Metamagic we don't know once a day-

If not, we can Threnodic Spell Brainspider and/or Dominate the guy and crack the Herald open...
On our terms, of course.

Plan updated with Zone of Silence use to prevent the Herald from overhearing. If y'all don't think that will work, we can just have Rina try to compel it. I'm open to other suggestions, too.

We've already used it to learn Transdimensonal Spell today, so that's not an option.

We could use Spark of Life and Brain Spider or Dominate Monster, though, if y'all want to.

Does 3.5 have anything like Thunderwave? A omnidirectional pushback spell centered on the caster? Cant believe that's a lvl1 in 5e. I ask because I want to ask about the viability of getting the Moonchasers the ability do this or something like it atleast once per day. Maybe even just 3 times a week?

Speaking of we ever make more Swarmbane items do we still only have the one? And is it possible to enhance a spell with Swarmbane instead of just melee attacks?

There are several, IIRC, but the only ones that immediately come to mind are Force Wave and Sign of Wrath.

We haven't made any additional Swarmbane items, but we need to. Thanks for the reminder.

@Goldfish, I definitely think we should attempt convincing the wraith of our sincerity before jumping to dominate. We have a sky high diplo score, let's put it to work.

Honestly, seems a better bet to get complete information out of it, than trying to diplomance an Undead moron that killed lots of (relatively) innocent people in pursuit of his ambitions.

Remorse for own Actions...is rare for Undead, yi say the least.

At least add that as go-to option if we fail diplomancing.

And about putting it on the Moonchaser? Given our enemies I kinda figure a protection against ships being mobbed by grunts would be good. Only a matter of time till someone decides to just throw a couple thousand of those acid bad demons at the thing.

Does not ever scale if not burning higher level slots, even lvl1 encounters have usually more HP than that, is very much a sonic boom (explicitly called out to be audible from afar, drawing the entire enemy camp equivalent to you) and needs a CON (Fort) save. Further, that omnidirectional nature is not that great when 1) Around your party members and 2) Having to walk up to gribblies.

Neat, but not too neat. I usually pick it on Druids, peeps with more defensive options available. Wizards at lvl1 attempting so are pretty much toast if you do not kill every single enemy.

Heh, guess the weakness is the squishyness of wizards. Get a melee combatant with an item of that and you've got a great mob control spell though. Lucky spells are leveled on usefulness rather than how absurd it is to be able to do that.

Neither would work well for that without being prohibitively expensive.

The Moonchaser has a close AOE steam burst defense system which should work pretty well for most things.

Need votes, y'all. If not for my plan then for something different.

4 mounted on each side right? Thought those were cones or lines. They are burst? Also what about up and below? It is a flying ship. Or is it like 2 on each side?

We can try to destroy the wraith.
Not one-shot of course.

If the Herald sees us kill his only ticked out of the building he has to intervene to stop us.

And then we can hit him.

Can we get last month's chart as a comparison to see how our numbers changed?

Could somebody remind me what the , is for again? Is it really percentages? How does that work?
It shows how many new mages we have trained, plus how many have leveled up this month. Every whole number is a new mage/level, with smaller fractions representing progress toward the next level.

I can't recall exactly, but the numbers look very nice for this past month.
