@Goldfish, we should ask to be put in contact with the mage's friend just in case Waymar finds interesting Yi Tish alchemical ingredients. Walking around the shop reminded me of our first time poking around Molten Skies.

Also, yay, with the Tree-research done we can move the Heart Tree from Storm's End next month.
If we do well on convincing Stanis, we might just have Storm God in the fold by the end of 11th month.

And also maybe start on moving oldest HTs from beyond the Wall.

We should probably hold off on moving the Heart Tree at Storm's End. We're not in a hurry to get the Storm God fully on board, and more importantly it's kind of obvious to everyone in Westeros when the Heart Tree at Storm's End -- a massive thing that's existed since the Age of Heroes -- just vanishes. That's obvious proof that Stannis is now a Targaryen loyalist.

I mean, if Stannis was capable of lying, sudden missing heart tree if you don't know about our deal with the Storm God could also read as "Loyal Stannis getting rid of that damn Dragon Tree," too

Sure, but that wouldn't stop extra scrutiny from Robert and the Lannisters.
Yeah, and Stannis really isn't the guy you want for intrigue.

On the plus side, I really doubt Robert can even conceive of Stannis ever betraying him, so there shouldn't be much suspicion from that quarter unless we make things obvious by disappearing a gigantic landmark.

Stannis being the worst at intrigue was my big concern. Our bigger problem is that the Lannisters already suspect him thanks to the whole Renly problem. The Heart Tree of Storm's End suddenly going missing is probably going to jumpstart something that we'd have to take time to intervene in, and bottomline we have way too much on our plates at the moment.

As an immediate concern we have both Tiamat and the Deep Ones to deal with over the next few months, and both have to be handled before Westeros or they could wreck the whole conquest.

Makes sense. Which do we currently plan to strike at first?

Tiamat.
We have a ritual in the works as a potential way to strike directly at her - given we manage to capture either an Avatar of hers or F!Aegon alive.
Next month we'll be busy rooting out any agents of Golden Company in Yi-Ti - and probably also looking into Shadow Fortress of hers.
And also crafting a supplementary one-use Artifact for Dany to wield agaisnt Timmie in that ritual.

The problem is that both Fortress and army of Golden Company are very much CR-relevant encounters for our party - and should be taken out simultaneously (or we'd risk important pieces managing to run away).

...and that we kinda want to capture as many enemies alive, since she gets most of the power invested in them back if they just die (isntead of being sacrificed).

Illithids...
We have no plans whatsoever, next month we'll visit the main cities of Marid and try to whip up a mercanary force to supplement some elite Gith we diplomanced into halping.
Also, Darleth is supposed to show us what he got as way to defend actively and passively agaisnt Illithids and their infiltrators by the end of this month.
That might help too.

Excellent! I was vaguely aware of the "steal Divine power" plan, but it is good to hear that we'll be crushing them soon.

Taking a short break from my reading to say this:
God, I love Sothoryos so much, great work on Gogossos DP, I love the use of Cambrian creatures (Tully monsters hehe, I always remember the riverlands when I hear about them), the use of the shrink-wrapped baboon was also inspired, just how wrong normal creatures look when you take away the fluffy and the meaty bits.
The whole thing with flesh crafted creatures living in the shadow of the forge, even them falling prey to the worst of the abominations, I wonder if the dinosaurs keep coming back because there is easy prey to be had too? Maybe some kind of quickly reproducing farm animal left by the Valyrians? I would not put it past them to create some form of photosynthesizing, meat producing life form, or fleshy potatoes of some kind, maybe specially good fungus?
I dearly hope we got to loot the tribe, now back to reading.

Agreed, @DragonParadox the recent Sothoryos arcs were excellent!

A meat factory would be undeniably useful... Might be worth looking into later down the road.
