@Duesal, please assure me that you'll look into the abovedropped Larder-list (even though I shared it quite some time ago in PMs already), and that you'd supplement current outdated one with it.

I want to sleep already, but am kept awake by thought of you not noticing/forgetting again.

I've updated the Larder with everything we got in the updates, but I'm holding off on what you sent me. Please talk to DP about actually getting that in an update. I don't want to update it before I get that confirmation.

FFs, I asked DP to give numbers OOC, and he gave those - I did so just for the reason that very few people here care for seeing them as often as we get them in the background.

I don't want to bloat the story with yet more exposition of "we got some more Devils summoned, yey"-kind.

We'll be getting, hopefully, no more than a single chapter of that stuff every month.

I will fight every/any notion of stuff going otherwise, and so, again, I ask to add the abovementioned DP-given numbers to list.

G'night.

Edit: subjects of discussion are: 32 imps, 19 Legion devils, 9 Steel devils, 3 Bone Devils, 1 Ice Devil
2 Shadow Demons, 3 Incubus, 1 Succubus, 9 Vermlek, 16 Quasit, from the 21-30th of past month.

Look, I get why you asked for this to happen OOC, but bottomline I need there to be some kind of record of this IC somewhere. I need to have the ability to track down, in the story, where we got every last sacrifice if there's ever a mistake in managing the Larder.

I'm not adding those sacrifices until they're accounted for somewhere in the story.

Wait so with Umbral spy there is a save involved. Would we be doing this when people are sleeping as to avoid that?

Edit: Wait Will saves can happen while unconscious so how is that supposed to work?

Okay, after the past hour of doing this I'm just going to postpone this specific part of the Heart Trees until the thread figures out a solid proposal. Healing Trees are easy, but I can't come up with seven thematic trees on the fly. Anyway, we'll grow a bunch of trees now, and then later we'll grow these trees.

Here's what I've got so far. @Deliste if you've got suggestions I'd love to hear them. And I am of course open to this proposal being ripped to shreds and glued back together, there are probably much better spells out there.

Adding this. @Goldfish, do you have a Theon levelup ready? He went from level 7 to level 8.

I'll make one for Theon when I get back to my computer.

Alright, here's the updated vote listing the sacrifices, the trees, and Gerold's levelup.

I'd love a Golden Shields interlude on this topic one day. They go around and spin tales of the Dread Sorcerer in the Stepstones, and then when their backs are turned said Dread Sorcerer flips multiple Houses to the loyalist cause.

I want some GS captain to get overconfident chasing glory and try to flip houses in The Claw.

@Duesal, here's a level up proposal for Theon. Not much to it beyond assigning skill points. I assume no one has an issue with his second Favored Enemy being Aberrations?

[] Theon Level Up
-[] Class: +1 Mystic Ranger
-[] Favored Enemy: Aberrations
--[] Enhanced Favored Enemy: Arcanists
-[] Skills (8 points): +1 Knowledge(Arcana), +1 Knowledge(Dungeoneering), +1 Knowledge(Nature), +1 Knowledge(The Planes), +1 Profession (Sailor), +1 Spot, +1 Survival, +1 Swim
-[] Spell Loadout:
--[] Level 0: Cure Minor Wounds, Light, Mending, Purify Food and Drink (4/day)
--[] Level 1: Guided Shot, Hawkeye, Hunter's Mercy, Primal Hunter (3+1/day)
--[] Level 2: Aquatic Cavalry, Ironskin, Primal Instinct, Swift Haste(3+1/day)
--[] Level 3: Arrowsplit, Fickle Winds, Find the Gap(2+1/day)
--[] Level 4: Bane Bow, Bow Spirit (1+1/day)

Not at all. That Favored Enemy is quite literally just in time.

What are the mechanics behind that, btw? An extra 1d6 in damage or something?
Due to him being a Mystic Ranger rather than a standard Ranger, Theon didn't get his second Favored Enemy until 8th level, rather than 5th as the excerpt below states.
Favored Enemy (Ex): At 1st level, a ranger may select a type of creature from among those given on Table 3—14: Ranger Favored Enemies. Due to his extensive study on his chosen type of foe and training in the proper techniques for combating such creatures, the ranger gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks when using these skills against creatures of this type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon damage rolls against such creatures.

At 5th level and every five levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th level), the ranger may select an additional favored enemy from those given on the table. In addition, at each such interval, the bonus against any one favored enemy (including the one just selected, if so desired) increases by 2. For example, a 5th-level ranger has two favored enemies; against one he gains a +4 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks and weapon damage rolls, and against the other he has a +2 bonus. At 10th level, he has three favored enemies, and he gains an additional +2 bonus, which he can allocate to the bonus against any one of his three favored enemies. Thus, his bonuses could be either +4, +4, +2 or +6, +2, +2.

Ehm. Why is there a desire to mass fireproof trees again? Yes, they are slightly more protected, but not against someone just taking an axe to the things.

Prime material trees shall hardly get exposed to fire based attacks all that often. Unless that 700 HD has no real bearing at anything significant at the moment and hence might as well achieve said minor strategic goal.

The other part of it is that it empowers the Old Gods quite a bit, and gives Bloodraven a lot of spare power to work with.

But yeah, the 700 HD isn't actually needed for anything else, and having the Old Gods indebted to us for fireproofing their trees definitely comes in handy.

Been reading those Stannis updates again.

I like how Dany can't decide if she really likes Stannis because he just has a great way of doing things that is conscientious and mindful, or wants to tear her hair out over something he says or had done every other minute because he is selectively oblivious, not even like Lord Tarly in that he "just doesn't care", but that he basically has to have the truth of some matter shoved in his face before he goes "...oh. Fuck, you're right." Because he hates being incorrect, but he hates being in denial even more.

Which is another reason why Viserys also respects Stannis pretty much above all other lords in Westeros. The man will just not quit improving, from sheer stubborn force of will if nothing else. Very draconic.
