>Calling on Asmodeous

That shit didn't work out that good for those hilariously beyond us, so I'd rather not bring personal attention to us... Yet

Lets just do the further questioning and then visit the City by the Shore.

Hopefully not Carcossa by the Sea when we arrive :V

A gaudy demon skull would destroy the timeless elegance of Oathkeeper. Big no-no!

A blade that looks like the black, subtly star-lit sky, with a golden hilt, purple grip and a grinning skulll for a pommel. All of it shrouded in blood red flames.

A simple blade is the best showcase for it.
...I take some offense.
:/

Well, now we know why Thinaun is so heavily regulated by the Shaitan. This shit is virtually priceless, since you can basically use it to make an Eldar-style soul receptacle.

Also, anyone else suspect the OG might have been created by ancient mortals who were seeking a place to keep their souls rather than trusting them to end up somewhere other than Hell or the sucking black pit that used to be Heaven?
I don't know if the Old Gods even keep the souls of their followers. The only ones who would without a doubt benefit are the ones who become part of the Green Dream.

@Goldfish, Bodyfeeder and Wounding don't stack. Am I right?
Otherwise he could deal 1 Con damage to a HP-bag while Bodyfeeder activates, and suddenly gain hundreds of temp HP.
That sounds cool, but also more powerful than Azel would accept :/ .
Against a target with an even con score, wounding deals damage equal to its HD.

Nowhere near hundreds of points, unless the target has hundreds of hp.

Against an odd score, it doesn't even deal damage.

Don't see the issue of getting another, what, 15-20 HP out of it, half the time he lands a crit.

I think it would be fair for me to say that most of your companions would be opposed to talking to Asmodeus, not last because he was one of those who aided in the breaking of the Planes until his final betrayal. So if you actually want to do this you had best get your arguments ready.

Question theoretically how much power would we need to survive this complete cluster fuck that is our situation? Like i'm talking do we need to become god as well as uniting together all the crazies on the material plane? Are we desperate enough that we might be willing to piss off mammon even more by saying invading his plane for sacrifices?

Sorry.
By "our way" I mean the way we've been running our empire in general, with bloodmagic and hookers, not the specific attitude towards the Seven.

What I'm saying is that we need to resolve the situation quickly. My preference how to do that is known (Maegor did nothing wrong), but if there's another way that doesn't compromise our promises made or our profit from actions like sacrifice and mercantilism I'm fine.

. I wow. That actually meant quite a bit to me. Cheers. I think we each know eachothers position on the Seven Vs OG stuff, but you clarifing your post has brightened my day.

@DragonParadox @Azel

The far realm and the force that broke the upper planes.

Is the far-realm a part of existence? If the planes of existence are ended, would the far realm be ok, or is also vulnerable to the ending-force? Or does Viserys/Party not know either way?

Serious in-game question here; might ask again later when I've pinned down the wording better to encapsulate what I'm trying to get at, but I think this might be good enough to get on with.

That'd be similar to invading a God's realm, wouldn't it?
I say, let's not.

We can boost our summoning/capturing capabilities to ridiculous amounts at need, True Names completely foregone (and targetting Demons or Daemons to not deal with Archdevil bullshit).
3000HD a month easily.

I'd wait on this a few months...
But if what I fear seeing in Yi Ti comes to be, we might just have to.

Deva: "I just explained how he ruined everything forever."
Mereth: "Citation needed." :V

Viserys is honestly not sure, the Far Realm is so incomprehensibly different from ordinary reality that trying to encapsulate what it is and what it might be vulnerable to has driven many mad.

I think that throwing more and more HD at this issue will probably not be enough. It might be a factor, but I doubt it's going to be so simple.

It won't do anything more than give a boost in power to those few gods of ours that can be powered that way, no.
Useful, but not solving the problem, far from that.
:/

Fair enough, and my question goes in the right direction of what I want, but kinda misses the point.

Next time I'll ask Xor (and Oddo), though I would not be a surprised if we get a confused shrug/head-bob in return to the specific question.

A tree for the Xorn seems like a good first step in Bloodraven gathering whatever intel he needs on the planes. I hope that he gets enough to allow us to safely grow trees in the cities of heaven.

Yeah, I agree. Now that I know what's going on, I really don't want to fight the Seven anymore. Assholes or not, we literally cannot afford to be divided.
Are we also reconsidering our somewhat antagonistic relationship with Bahamut? Because he could be a massive help in this, especially if he got Metallics again, and we have the needed items, to recreate at least 1 kind of Metallics.

We have notes about how to create various draconic creatures in a flesh forge, this include true dragons though those notes are incomplete, but considering they were Saenena's notes, she work for us, and we have multiple true dragons she can study to complete them, completing them should be just a matter of time.

This would of course only allow us to make Red Blue and Brine dragon eggs, but we have a scale from a metallic(I don't remember what it's color was) which should be enough to add it to our templates.

So with some research we should be able to recreate a strain of metallics, and if Bahamut can get use any remains of the other strains, we can recreate them too, this would strengthen him, and would allow him to reorganize what strength he currently have, as his followers great search would be ended, and so they could dedicate themselves, to helping with the mending of the planes instead.
We are going to make complete peace with Seven, assholes as they may be.
We are going to talk to Asmodeus.
We are...
...We may be panicking too much right now.

I'm never voting for working with Asmodeus, in my opinion non-existence is better than Hell.

Shall I add asking our Jinn allies for a place to grow a Heart Tree on PoA next month?
They might just have a piece of rock big/deep enough floating around.

Also, we need a Fire!Heart Tree given to Salamanders, maybe.
They will protect it if we ask... And even if dangerous, OGs will get a lot out of that planar connection.

The Old Gods don't seem to know about the existential crisis that exists. If they did they might back away to a less hard line position. Maybe even a payment plan for the long term. Hopefully. Or hold off long enough to deal with them after the fact.
