So... Here's what I got.
Viserys' 'base' Willsave = 11 (+1 against Evil, +1 against Necromancy) +6 Competence (Channel Vigor: Spirit) + 6 (Wisdom) +6 (don't know from where, really, but it's on the sheet) + 10 (Dany's Persistomancy)+1d6 (Mythic Surge) =
39(41)+1d6 'base' will save.
+ Nine Lives (reroll on a fail) + Alter Fortune by an ally (reroll on a fail)
+ Mindblank (Immunity to all mind-affecting spells and effects) + Soulfire Mithral Bracers (immunity to all death spells, magical death effects, and energy drain, and any negative energy effects)
What we can do to increase that:
+ 11 Luck (Ruin Delver's Fortune – equal to Charisma modifier)
+ item of Thought Shield III (Psychic 4, Abjuration) to add +8 circumstance to Will saves.
+ Plant Body spell (Immunity to Mind-affecting)
In the end, with an ideal set-up, we seem to be getting something like this:
58(60)+1d6 Will save at least, with minimum of 2 rerolls, and the following things set up to save us if we fail at that:
75% chance to break the effect on Viserys upon failed save – Crown is destroyed
33% chance to break the effect on Viserys upon failed save – Soulfire Bracers are destroyed
5% chance to break the effect on Viserys upon failed save – PfE amulet is destroyed
@DragonParadox, I assume that Plant Body will provide the same effect as Crown of Conqueror, as in - getting 75% chance of stopping Bloodstone Emperor's attack but being destroyed in process?
Also, you said that "If you did not have a Mind Blank crown the save for not having your soul ripped out of your body would have been much worse".
Would Plant Body and item of Thought Shield lower such save even further as well?
With a minimun of
58(60)+1d6 will save, I daresay, that summoning Rakshasa
will be on the table.
Just not to the point where Bloodstone Emperor will pour
all divine Mojo he has into making that attack have some bullshit like 70+ save needed.
And we'll probably want to do so in a temple of Yss or near a weirwood just to be sure anyway, since losing our items is not a choice.
