Wyvern-Fighters and Dragons don't fight well together. The Dragon is a whole bunch slower, while the Wyverns rely on high-speed strafing runs to not get shot down. Their armor sounds impressive compared to modern jet fighters, but it's not that great in D&D terms.

However, we are definitely looting those laser cannons.
In addition to finishing the Wyverns this coming month, we're also crafting a good quantity of Teleporting Suicide Drones. Each of them will be able to do 20d6 piercing/bludgeoning damage in a 40ft radius. Considering that all of the shrapnel will be Adamantine, it will be capable of serious armor penetration.

A salvo of bombs, followed by Medium-range starting while Amrelath and the Harbinger engages in melee should be really effective.

The differences in speed remain a problem regardless. Trying to coordinate a jet fighter wing with the worlds meanest bi-plane is still a nightmare. Either Amrelath and the Harbinger move in first, giving away the moment of surprise by their approach, or they take forever to catch up.

@DragonParadox, how long is the expected time needed for the Lady Saenna expedition? Can we ask Dany to turn back if they did not find anything after 3 weeks?
  1. No way to tell for sure
  2. Yes you can count on her for that. While Dany knows the expedition is important to Lady Saenna she also knows just how many other irons there are in the fire, ones that could impact the lives of hundreds of thousands even millions

Teleportation, dude.

If we can Teleport bombs, we can Teleport Dragons.

One Teleported bomb salvo, followed by a Teleported raiding party.

Amrelath, Harbinger, plus some Companions sounds good. Meanwhile, the Wyverns provide cover fire and distraction from supporting Efreeti air assets.

That would work, except that we can't Teleport the Harbinger. We would need that "Call a Construct"-crystal for that.

@Goldfish, for the Teleportation drones, can you do a write-up with costs and everything for the front-page? I would say we can realistically carry 4 to 8 per Wyvern on the hull.

I would make them roughly insect shaped, with a detachable abdomen that contains the actual warhead and which can be swapped for different payloads. After Teleporting, they should try to cling to the target before detonating to increase the damage.

Yes we can. DP long ago ruled that we can Teleport and Plane Shift our Golems, and the Harbinger is just a fancy Golem.
Huh? I distinctly remember it being a problem to get the Iron Golems home that we caught in Essaria, requiring us to fetch the Shadow Tower. Likewise, they were a problem to plan around during the Tyrosh invasion. We deployed the regular Iron Golem by ship and the flying archers were following Aradia.

And once again in this last update, Tytos "Fuck Famine" Brune demonstrates that his fields lie empty, a dearth of fucks to be found.

The Brunes already have two lines, maybe we should make that a third?

Florent. I thought Peake was Westerlander.
The Peake's are one of those houses that seem to made entirely of enormous assholes, and over the years they've severely declined in prominence due to their endless attempts at seizing power backfiring on them repeatedly. Titus Peake, the current lord of their sole remaining castle, was raised as a hostage in the Westerlands and married a Lannister from an extremely minor branch.

Huh...that's not how I remember it.

@Duesal, Oh, Guru of Search-Fu, can you by any chance find that particular ruling? I really thought DP had allowed us to Teleport the Golems.

  1. Doomship: at any point during the next month
  2. Adamantine convoy: going in the middle of the month returning at the end
  3. Mage's expedition: single data point towards the end of the month
Alright. I really, really hate doing this kind of shuffling again, as it's a step back to the old system were we planned everyone's bathroom breaks to the second, but fine.

1. Doomship: Let the Djinn handle it. If they are done by then, we can send the Wyverns along as fire support, but our schedule is too tight to pledge any PC's to this. @Goldfish, can this be arranged?
2. Adamantine Convoy: We do not want Amrelath to crash our economy by selling 100 tons of the stuff on the open market, so if we do this, we need to do it ourselves. I'm strongly in favor of doing this, as a shipload of Adamantine sounds like a nice thing to sell to our allies to bolster our finances.
3. Mage Expedition: This taking a week makes it a non-starter when we have to invest so many high-level PC's. We have far too little intel on that fleet and what they want to do, so if we want to do this, then we need Yrten and Siduri to keep tabs on it. Maybe ask Yss for some insights.

If we assume that we need the first 2 weeks for the conclave and can wrangle Pentos in the 3rd, we could send out Dany with order to return form the Astral Plane after 3 weeks if they haven't succeeded by then. Hopefully Lya rolls great on the Oathkeeper upgrade, otherwise she isn't available and most likely Oathkeeper wouldn't be either. Maybe Vee finishes early, but I wouldn't count on it.

So we would have enough juice to take the convoy, but definitely not the expedition fleet.

Yeah, I agree.

The Doomship is for the Djinni to handle, IMO. I would like to hit the Court Wizard's shopping expedition, but that just isn't tenable within our current timeframe.

The Adamantine Convoy is my preferred target. I want to hit the mine, just as the slaves are being delivered.

I would prefer to hit the convoy when it's on the way back and fully loaded with Adamantine. While the coming month is packed to the brim, the one after isn't, so we can stage a full scale assault on the mine after that and hit the expedition, provided Yrten and Siduri can track it.
