Yes now is a good time I think.
What date should I set?

Plan amended as per @LonelyWolf999's suggestion:
[X] Accept Horas' offer and approach Lord Tarly
-[X] Greet him friendly and ask him how the travel to the Stepstones was for him, and of course how he found your realm so far.
-[X] Take special note that it is quite pleasant to finally meet the only loyalist Lord of the Rebellion who actually won a battle instead of waiting for the right moment to betray their king or waiting the war out on the sidelines.
-[X] Ask him what brought him here and if he has found what he was looking for so far.
-[X] If he is nervous, put him at ease by point-blank asking him what he thinks about the Darkenbeast Company, strongly implying that he saw nothing you consider bad for him to know.

Agreed.

And we need to make sure the people grow used to their King speaking to them.
Viserys should address the Imperium at least once a week.

And Tyene can have her weekly fashion hour.

Waymar will have Basic Monster Slaying 101.

Moonsong will have comedy specials.

Teana will teach "So you think you are a mage?"

Vee will reluctantly be convinced to showcase her exotic pets and the other creatures in the menagerie.

Glyra will introduce Planetsoi Punked, or maybe Hidden Mirrors would be a better name for her prank show?

Etc.

If you make Glyra a Reality TV star, she will spontaneously grow a Mythic Rating.

@Azel, not sure if you just missed this or not, but would you mind adding this?

-[] As a side note, remember to have all Erinyes sworn to you read the Draconis Compendium and achieve the Warrior's Insight for a permanent +2 to Attack and Damage against creatures of the Dragon type. They are to do this in whatever freetime they have.

I still maintain we need to do a live broadcast from Kings Landing with Glyra goading Robert and Cersei into making themselves look like completely idiotic assholes.
Oh man, the shade you are throwing, @Azel.:lol

Keep throwing it!
What do you mean? The part where I vaguely shit on a Mace Tyrell shaped area?

That should go in the minor actions for next turn, lest we forget about it.

Canon Omake: To Be Seen
To Be Seen
Eighteenth Day of the 8th Month

Were they watching?
The question came to her like a specter of the past. So much has changed since those days. The world was not the same, and neither was she, yet the question remained the same. Are they looking at me? Their gazes burnt on her skin, hotter than the sun, harsher than the whip's kiss. And it was glorious. Do they see me? They surely would. Nobody would ever miss her face again. Nobody pass her by. And they would not sneer and mock. They would not ogle her like meat. They would fear. Will they know? They would. She would make sure of it.

Her bells slowly drifted in the breeze, chiming lightly as they struck her armor. One of iron, two of silver, one of gold. A few good days of thin stew it had taken for the last to be added to the cord, yet she it knew its worth every time it glinted in the sun. Iron for chains broken. Silver for the oath she had sworn, every word that had been spoken a dagger aimed at their hearts. More silver for her first day under the banner in truth. The armor had chaffed then, but now it fit like a second skin. Gold for the day she made them bleed. Had she had the riches of a king, she would have made a bell from ruby for every drop that had been spilled that day.

Beneath her, the stallion stirred restlessly, all too eager for what was to come. Her comrades had laughed and cajoled when she picked him. Dainty womenfolk were not supposed to try their hand at the wildest stallion of the herd. Her officer told her to knock it off and wait for the quartermaster to get horse that would allow someone to ride it. Fools, the lot of them. You didn't wait for permission from a horse to ride it. They went quiet when she showed them. And why shouldn't she have succeeded? It was in her blood after all.

The Dothraki they called her in Lys. Ivezhqoy, trueborn daughter of Khal Raggat she had been before that, that name the only thing they could not take from her. They had tried. With ink and hot irons they had branded her, a slip of a girl barely old enough to walk. A new name was forced on her, to not offend their delicate tongues by speaking the one given by her mother. To take away the life she had been born into. To make her breeding stock, for she was fair, yet too dangerous to let off her chains. Her father was just another corpse for the blood-soaked fields by then, dying senselessly on a sellsword's blade. Her mother made a whore, never to be seen again by her. But she remembered. She would always remember.

And today, she would remind them, here in the sands of Sorcerer's Deep, here on the field of the joust. Yesterday, a true victory was denied to her. Just some fat Tyroshi magister, playing at being a fighter. No doubt that he tried to curry favor with the Dragon by pressing his bulk into ill-fitting armor. It was an insult, and like an insult she had thrown him back. One hit and he had lain flat on his ass, gasping for air from the force of the blow. She wouldn't have fools sully the field of honor where warriors stood to prove their greatness.

Her eyes glanced over to the other end of the field, her enemy for this day returning the look. A Westerosi this time, having come in plain yet fine plate on a charger worthy of the name. Yet his shield was black. He bore a color he had no right to in his cowardice. She had earned the black steel in sweat and blood. She had toiled day and night to earn the armor of the Legion, her blood singing in joy every time she rode her stallion on the training yards. She had spilled blood of the oh-so-highborn Lyseni officers on the Fool's Hill, bringing the glory to her colors that they deserved. And here came a man and colored his shield, for he was too afraid to show his true colors on this day. She would teach the coward.

As her gaze moved over to the grand mirror hanging on their side, the question returned to her. Were they watching? And a wicked smile crept over her face, hidden by the visor of her helmet. Once she feared their gaze, but now it was time to turn the tables on them. She sure hoped they were watching, and that they would remember The Dothraki.

AN: Not every former slave is content with just being free, and not everyone who carries a chip on their shoulder will throw their life away for some cheap bloodshed against the King's orders. Meet Ivezhqoy, called Ivez, Legionnaire in the Lancer Company of the 1st Column of the 1st Legion. There are a few people in Lys she dearly hopes will recognize her face when she takes off her helmet after a won tilt.

Agreed.

And we need to make sure the people grow used to their King speaking to them.
We can also probably spread a lot of state-approved heresy through setting up... let's call it "Political Religious debates" between state-approved preachers.
Kinda a minefield there, but carefully planned, could be an invaluable tool.
@Azel, thoughts?

That should go in the minor actions for next turn, lest we forget about it.
Added.

Although, the more I look upon all the books we have and all the characters, the more I tend to look in @Goldfish's direction and wonder if he'll busy himself with all that at the end of the month...
After all, he likes statting things up and bonuses, right?
...right?

@Azel, this feels like we're relying on OOC information. It's just been established that we don't know about that interlude IC yet.
Sorry to be a killjoy, but...

You mean the time he bet his life on a single failed save from a murderous gang leader? Yeah, lots of poor people IRL can get quick cash if they're willing to become criminals who take crazy risks. It's just that most people aren't that stupid, and most of those who are get a bad end.
And that wasn't "getting a job", either. He was tested afterwards, and failing these tests would probably not have been great for his income and/or safety.

No, Viserys immediately joined a gang, took some wild risks, and then avoided actual poverty.
But from his PoV things were actually going very badly for him. No-one likes taking those risks, no-one likes having zero life security, and no-one likes being essentially on the street with no actual skills that can get you an income (I'm not counting criminal skills like low-level magic at that point in time - most people don't want to rely on that).

Viserys never went hungry, but he's certainly felt vulnerable and scared - and with reason. That's given him some empathy for people like whores and low-level criminals that most other people in his position don't have.
Okay, the adventurer-thing was throwing of my perspective there.

You know, with Viserys still betting his life if he thinks he has to.

Perhaps a bit more aggressive than I intended. It's kinda shitting on everyone else who contributed and yet again makes our enmity with the Tyrells clear before we want that to happen.

No, we don't know that they came to SD yet, but Viserys noted that he probably has a report on his desk "about them coming from Westhaven", so he did read the report about them being there.
So with the joust and the melee moving up in proeminence do you guys want to see the other melee semifinals on screen?
I definitely want to see Sandor vs. Scarbrand, preferably from a Scarbrand PoV.

As for the other two fights in the semi-finals of the melee, only if they are interesting. I vaguely recall Asha and Oberyn being ready to curb-stomp their opponents.

Hell, the Tyrells not being in bed with us on their own volition shows that they expected a grudge before it could even manifest by our having risen to relevance again.

They are perfidious to the bone and must be humbled at best. And that will be our mercy. They will know our House gave them their current station, and that we can just as easily take it away.

@DragonParadox, seeing a few more melee fights would be fine with me.
But please, also leave out space for 2-3 more interviews.
We've yet to talk with people about our extraplanar allies, and...
<_<
>_>
@Goldfish, what were the topics of the interviews back when we voted on them, again?

Having about 5 to 10 updates on best of each remaining competition would be fine too.
