So I fell out of updates with the story when we were in that fire realm with the cute rock creature that also eats rocks. Is there...like, a summary I could get? It took me all summer to get to the part I got to, I can't imagine what I've missed in the meantime.
Nope, we don't have any sort of summary. We met Rockshaker 20 months ago IC, or 25 months IRL. So much has happened since then that it would be tough to explain it all without missing anything important.

You could just read the quest in story mode and skip all of the discussion in between chapters? Here's the chapter with Rockshaker's first appearance.

The buy-in on this quest is... quite a steep climb.

But the investment is well worth it!

Oh, oh, @Goldfish (sorry for double post, wanted goldfish to see this)

The ritual to make weights for our crafter's without craft construct, it was expensive and costs two con. What about we front end an (interest free) loan to the crafters for the ritual and a +[/I]2[/I] Con item, so that they can get weights, then use half the additional crafting time they gain to make their own money from selling SD markets (they can buy their own reagants) to pay us back? Or like, 10% of the time is unallocated and it just takes longer. Whatever people think works best. Or maybe not even

Basically, who wants to get our non craft construct crafter's those weights, eh? :D
@Crake summed it up pretty well. We already have so much crafting capacity that we've stopped using our low level mages as craftbots in favor of assigning them to other tasks. Some are going on the Yi-Ti expedition, others accompanying the Lads back to the Riverlands, and so on. And next month, if my plan is used, quite a few of our low level mages will be involved in the infiltration of the City of Brass...as "enslaved" craftbots. ;)

We don't need to provide crafters for the open market, as they are already available from other sources.

A few days of reading seems reasonable to me.

It does seem more daunting because some people clearly don't have the time to keep up with discussion and reading at the same time, the former part being the bigger obstacle. The quest updates multiple times per day, If you slack off for a couple, it's not just six or so updates you have to catch up on, if you want to participate in multiple ongoing discussions (topic jumps a lot) then you are in for a struggle if you don't pay at least a little attention.

Or you can play it smart and just have a single issue that you stick to.

Or you can be insane and have a bunch of pet issues and something to say about most other topics too.

Mind you that with the Terminus opening, we now have full and widespread access to planar markets. Soon there will be low-level parties in the Planes getting their first Adamantine Dagger +1 from a smith in SD and relying on healing salves sold by Royce Alchemy Works.

  • [X] Seek out a connection to the mysterious Gith
-[X] Send a letter via Armun Kelisk to the Githzerai strongholds that we were told of during our visits to the city. In the letter, request a meeting with a representative of the Githzerai, to take place in Armun Kelisk, with the context of a realm seeking aid in defending itself from an infestation of Illithid.
--[X] All appropriate precautions are to be taken in securing our identity in this letter. If possible, have a representative in Armun Kelisk itself send the letter instead on our behalf - we surely have enough contacts and favour within the city to make this happen.
-[X] Then speak with Horas Redwyne.
-[X] As a side note, Viserys' next priority for languages to be learned are: Dothraki, Sarnori, Naathi, and Yi Tish.

Just a note, @Azel if I got that right a Lord can still act as judge in his domain, the input of our officials being something he can ask for, but doesn't have to?

So unless or untill we design realm-wide laws for what constitutes a due process lords still have similar judical power as they have in Westeros, should they decide to utilize them?
Forgot to answer this. Yes, they have, though they must follow crown laws and we can overrule them at our leisure. Due process has to develop on it's own though. That infrastructure needs time to grow.
@Crake I think the second legion had the name 'Chainbreakers' but I cant find where it was said and I don't believe it was ever added to the front page.
@DragonParadox, did the 2nd Legion get a cognomen by now?

And is their general anyone fancy enough to deserve a name?

Rhaegar had been a man desperately chasing his destiny where Viserys almost seemed to be destiny at times.

What does that make you, then? Richard who has been his shield and his sword for so long?
I seriously expected Richard to get a Mythic Rank here. It would have been weird, but that sentence rang like Viserys' amazing Mythic rise.

By the way, the whole thing with Syrax was nice, but it wasn't even close to my favorite part of the quest. But that amazing use of Syrax to give us our first Mythic rank?

That made it all memorable!

Huh. I was really expecting Garin's book to serve as sufficient training to take Darkstalker as a feat, so that we could train Inquisitorial minions with Darkstalker.

Foiled again!

Well, skill bonuses are nice.

Is that Alchemy check results for Foraging purposes? Or Knowledge Nature?

If the former... Denys could make an average of 182.5 IM a week.

WELP. Know what he's studying next. Gotta fund that research somehow ("But Denys... the King gives you stipends." "Spent it." "But it's--" "SCIENCE shouldn't have a price tag. But new lab equipment which keeps exploding clearly does.")

Consider me interested in whatever he is doing that can wreck Hardened quartz lab equipment on a regular base.

Either works.

Yeah, uhm, if it's Alchemy based, then that is fantastic for epilogue Denys, who I expect to fund vast swathes of destructive research based on foraging efforts in exotic locales alone just so he can document specimens on the side.

As in 300+ IM a week's worth... which honestly is probably enough for one more set of replacement hardened lab equipment.

And repairs to the stone structure required afterwards. :V

These are pretty good!
Thanks, DP.

I feel kinda bad for forcing these on you still, but at least we have to get done with all the stuff so that it isn't forgotten :/

So, how about that Daemon-book?
:V

Wonder how many pages of notes dp has we don't know about. I'm assuming a shit ton all the.delicious lore. Oh so much lore. Hey guys can we ever use the mirrors to educate the public on the nature of the planes and shit and that there are for one more hells than they think and that not all magic users are immediately fiends? Cause I'm tired of stupid mistaught peasants I know its not their fault but god damn its easy to lie or just misteach the masses.

Ignorant masses beats the evil of fiends any day they are the true evil of planetos. Id take a legion of demons over them any day.
