Dont you need to be level 10 to have access to teleport? I mean assuming Wizard which would be the most prominent class I would imagine.
Yeah, level 9 or 10, which is absolutely not a joke when you're talking about a mage PC.

In the kingdom where the dominant faith actively rails against magic, there wouldn't be teleporters randomly going to the royal court without us knowing about it.

If that was the case, he would just do so instead of bothering with the whole procession.

There's no evidence for this. Lanna should be the only teleporter he has access to at the moment, and she's busy doing her own thing.

Westeros isn't exactly swimming in mages.

Hrrmmm I suppose. Part of me thinks that Robert could be making large noises about a procession North and then decide to fuck off with maybe Barristan and a UMD monkey to visit with teleport scroll. (Lanna can totally make one). Then again there's no real benefit to doing that subterfuge, it's not like it helps him or hurts his enemies much (us). But then again is a big procession North really helpful either? It's just gonna eat up the food and money stores of the houses he visits...

We can't convince you that you are wrong. You arguing with the blind conviction of a zealot and nothing we say is going through.
Actually yes it is, in this case you convinced me, that there was a significant chance Robert would have ordered the children dead, you didn't convince me it was a certainty, but you convinced me it was likely.

Sometimes there's no convincing me, but not always, and this time I was at least mostly convinced, I just still don't really care about Robert, which mean I don't care whether he's dead or alive, which mean if it will get us Ned as a loyal vassal, I personally would want to keep him alive, because Ned is more important to me, than revenge on the depressed manchild that's Robert.

1. Robert isn't the subtle type, so I don't see him doing this sort of thing.
2. I'm pretty certain that Robert isn't going to care about the minor nobles he bankrupts along the way. He's the same man who neglected the realm for more than a decade.

I've got the feeling that part of the idea is to show strength by traipsing through the currently exceptionally uppity Riverlands. Which is why the whole thing of offing Arryn right now would do such tremendous damage to his image.

Also, neither Varys nor Pycelle knew of him having access to Teleport. Don't forget that we know better what's going on at the court then literally anyone else.

I am obsessive, not to a severe degree, but I have a hard time letting go of arguments no matter how unimportant, unless I have been convinced that I was wrong.
Perhaps a bit of advice is in order then. Try to look at a disagreement as asking someone to change your mind, rather than trying to change theirs. If you know you have this issue it's important that you frame the conversation mentally to account for it.

My game plan for the whole trip of Robert:
- let him go as planned while we take care of matters in the Reach
- once he reached the borders of the Riverlands, Jon Arryn will have a regrettable accident with a vial of poison, courtesy of Bloodraven
-- this clears up the whole Arryn matter, as the house is now left with a witch-child as the heir and Lisa Tully as the regent
- Robert is now has two options:
-- he turns back, making him look weak for being unable to leave court without something blowing up
-- he bulldozes ahead to Winterfell, leaving Cersei free reign in Kings Landing
-- either option is peachy for us

As for the Tyrells, my goal is not to eradicate their house like the Lannisters, just to lessen them so that their ambitions are less disruptive.

Does it need to be Bloodraven that poisons him? Would rather have no evidence come back to bite us in the future. If there's a way then I'm all for your plan.

We need someone high up on Luncan's and Lanna's chain of command. I want to know the exact amount of casters they have and what level they can cast. Info in that regard is important for obvious reasons. Maybe we should kidnap Tyrion?

We could just arrange it so that he catches wind of Cersei's incestuous cuckolding of Robert, and Cersei catches wind of Jon Arryn's investigations.

Or a number of different options.

We are in the process of spreading out the Inquisition agents. In due time we'll know everything.

The easiest way would be to go through Lisa. Convince her that Jon want's to kill little Robert Arryn and leave a vial of poison in her vicinity. She will do the rest.

But ultimately, let Bloodraven just do what he is good at. We've set one of the greatest plotter in history free in the Red Keep right after flipping or murdering everyone who could have had even a minor chance of actually challenging him. Just give him free reign with this. I for one wouldn't be surprised if he manages to cause Jaime to stab Jon Arryn.

Do we take Mors to visit Thenns personally to meet goodson and grandson?

We want to visit and talk with Thenns as whole as well

To expand on this, from what you know Robert could call on Lanna to teleport him but he does not trust her and she... thinks he is a loud drunken oaf whose only redeeming quality is the fact that he angers Cersei a lot.

All we need to say to Bloodraven is " I need you to get rid of Jon Arryn without implicating you or me. Can you do that for me uncle?" And I am pretty sure he will be dead by the end of the month with none the wiser as to the true culprit.

Hrm, good point. But we never directly asked did we? I could see that slipping. I mean Teleport is just such a big deal and while Level 5 spells aren't nothing it'd be kinda ridiculously sad for him to not have access to it. Like why not have Lanna make a pitstop in the Plane of Water to pick up some scrolls or items of Teleport. They're not that poor.

@DragonParadox Did either Varys or Pycelle know of Robert or any member of his court using Teleport? Or other Level 5 or higher spells?

That can also be arranged yes. Bloodraven is in his element. I am sure he can wrangle quite an exquisite plot. We should tell him this month. Maybe cast message to the simulacrum to communicate?

Not necessary. We've had a Brazier installed in Chatayas. We can just place the order for a dead falcon the next time our Varys-IED checks in to drop off a report.

By the way, that settles it for me. If they continue showing cleverness (translation: surrender), they get the ducal title for the Traitorlands.

...Wow...

I mean not entirely unexpected for reasons others have said but...
*glances at the plans to toss around Level 8 Spells as Candy/Fertilizer.*

That's honestly sad.
It really shouldn't be that surprising. We stole the march on basically everyone in regards to magic, and Westeros has a culture that's mostly against its usage, to the point that they're about to have a religious convention about it.

They're basically playing catchup right now, and the person best equipped to help them really doesn't like them.

Case in point, Ned just went over the reports of the first time he gathered mages at Winterfell. We on the other hand trade favors with the Peerless Empire.

They are so far behind it's not even funny anymore and it certainly didn't help their position that we turned the Pyromancer Guild into a bonfire.
