We decided to train the Legionnaires in Legion tactics... which unfortunately also involves heavy use of formation fighting, though in combined arms tactics.
Still, Unsullied at training completion are Fighter 6, aren't they? He might be more impressive than that.

The rest of the Large sized competitors really got wrecked in round 1? Makes the 'medium' bracket people seem a bit ... unambitious by comparison, since most of the Large sized people were apparently not up to snuff.

I am assuming that there were more competitors, but they got trimmed down in the first day.
Pretty common staple of Tournament Arcs if there are a lot of initial contestants. They get skipped over and only the most impressive are left, the fights that 'matter'.
