Hey, does anyone remember what happened to Victarion Greyjoy? I'm pretty sure he died in the Ironborn rebellion in this quest, but I'm not certain.

He's got to qualify for it to take it.

But good catch on Strategist, @Crake add it! It's half of his Challenges, but should be worth it.

@LonelyWolf999

So I adjusted skills a little. I figured that a combination of earnestness, being a Knight and knowing their courtesies despite more informal than formal education, and being older than most results in... even without full skill ranks in Diplomacy, still a pretty charming son of a bitch.

He's got more extensive knowledge of the Riverlands now (and Westeros to a lesser extent I suppose) as well as being no fool at recognizing heraldry. He doesn't have them all memorized, but I would say still at equal odds with a child of 14 educated in the "recite hundreds of words and banners every day in your lessons" method because he's been to plenty of tourneys and actually gives a shit about other people, so has bothered to learn the bare basics about those he competed against.

War is full ranks because he's supposed to be talented at it. Half of that is practice and experience, the other half is basically like Robb playing at being the strategist and actually being fairly deft at it. Though without the pride or ego getting in the way. You could call it unrealized potential finally getting a chance to shine since now he's a semi-famous leader, not some upjumped peasant who was so privileged to be knighted by his betters.

Rest is the same in essence.

Probably forgetting something.

@LonelyWolf999 Here's a list of minor, useful enchanted items Benjicot may have gathered fighting alongside the Lads. It's all low level, off-the-shelf stuff he could have reasonably found in ruins somewhere or looted from a Lannister mage.

Amulet of Natural Armor +1, Campfire Bead, Glove of Storing, Hat of Disguise, Potion of Cure Light Wounds (x2), Potion of Invisibility (x1), Potion of See Invisibility (x1), Ring of Protection from Evil, Scabbard of Honing, Silversheen (x2 doses).

    [X] Plan "Plotting the Approach"
-[X] Meet the one known as "the Hound", Sandor Clegane. Though he bears no knightly title, him displaying his House's sigil and colors was clearly a display of a certain variety. Perhaps he is not here to show he is loyal and will cast down Viserys' enemies, but his purpose in calling out "I am here" was clearly one meant for us.
-[X] Wait for the Hound to find a drinking establishment or some otherwise not too public locale. While in retrospect he likely wanted to be approached, that does not mean he would appreciate taking up the spotlight more than he was already forced to do by walking out into the sands and fighting. So often men in your realm have tried to show their bravery or cleverness by attempting to match the honors you have lain upon them, but this man is not raised up in your realm, he is ostensibly the bannerman of one of your most hated enemies.
-[X] Ser Richard and Waymar will accompany you. Also greet Uthero and Alysande, he and she more than welcome to join us in the Royal Box from here on if it interests them.

@Goldfish, it seems that vote-counting didn't see your "ignore him"-part of the vote?
Or have you edited that out?

He died in the Greyjoy Rebellion.

The only surviving Greyjoys are Asha and Theon who are sworn to us, and Euron Greyjoy who's gods know where doing gods know what.

Nobody saw the body and he was only noted to have been thrown overboard. That's what happened to Damphair and look how he fared.

The only sure Greyjoy we know dead is Balon and Aeron...

In B4 Alhoon Victarion, because his stupidity made things very interesting for the Illithid!

Victarion Greyjoy, Antipaladin of the Drowned God.

Also it's hilarious that the cavalier order most suited to Benjicot happens to be the Order of the Dragon. Serendipity.

Incidentally, the order devoted to obedience to your liege above all else is the Order of the Lion. Make of that what you will.

It's true, if Aeron managed to avoid sinking to the bottom of the ocean, a stubborn idiot like Victarion could potentially have survived too... I mean, it's unlikely, but possible.

Always confirm the kill and all that.

Still, one wonders if he would have even brought much to the table had he survived. I mean DP's not afraid of revealing that a character isn't anything more than what they show themselves to be. The guy is supposed to be dumb and brutish. Not a schemer. And with Balon's ploy ending... so splendidly, another Greyjoy who's only card to play is that they're a brave reaver and fearless sailor, why, that's just so passé!

I'm quite paranoid im only 30% sure someones dead when I see a recognizable body.

Finally got around to posting these.. Doing it OOC since I do not want to break the flow of the story.

Ring of the Sandform

Description: A circle of eternally flowing sand this ring carries with it the faint but undeniable smell of old blood, clinging to the welder for days even weeks.
