[X] Plan Let's Talk First
-[X] Teleport over in human form without applying further combat buffs that go above regular Persistomancy.
-[X] Once appearing there:
--[X] "This is a slightly surprising turn of events. There is a very fine audience chamber you could have come to, if you wanted to speak with me. It would have been less... rustical..." // Try for something between honest exasperation and minor annoyance. This is highly irregular after all.
--[X] "My name is Viserys Targaryen and I shall not bore you with my titles, for I assume that crowns and kingdoms mean little to you. By what name may I call you in turn?" // Setting the mood to talk shop. If she was interested in pleasantries and mooching up, she wouldn't have ambushed us in the middle of the desert.
--[X] "I assume this meeting is about the one title you would care about. It seems like the one and only thing most Red Priests want to talk with me about these days." // Let's get straight to the damn messiah point...
--[X] If it turns out that she doesn't want to talk about Azor Ahai related things: "Well, I must say that this is pleasant deviation from recent patterns."
--[X] If the previous is true and then she announces murderous intentions towards Viserys: "And we are back to far too familiar territory. The chance of pace was nice while it lasted."
At the very least make sure all of our social buffs are active, along with Divine Insight and Grand Destiny. Nine Lives should be active already, too. I would also switch our Channel Vigor setting to Spirit, for increased Will saves and a further bonus to our Bluff and Intimidate skill checks.

And use our Greater Ribbon of Disguise to hide the magic auras of our gear and buffs.

Keep in mind that as a mage she will might be able to see your social buffs.

I wasn't aware that Pathfinder got their own Weeabo Fightan Magic these days...

Warlord looks indeed nice.
They do, and a lot of it. Some of its really fun to.

Like the giant devil hands from nowhere class.

OK you are right.:V

He can be an advanced cat.

This pleases me greatly.

Wait so cats can kill your average commoner... I need to wrap my mind around that
DND. We are not joking when we say it's a death world.

Also, I'm fairly sure DP ruled the... Average ish adult human is level 3?

Like. Malnutrition, a lifetime of drinking, and poor health probably contribute to all the level 1s and 2s running around.

That or "level" is representation of killing power only.

@Azel you wanna pick up Vee or anybody else?

If burnt decides he's going to try and slap us with the red orb it's going to be an Avatar fight at least.

How? We're under Mind Blank, we should be immune to divination.
And otherwise we can always just cast Nondetection (or Mislead with us and Oberyn as targets). Problem solved!

Good point. I'll have to think on how to model that mechanically.
Some sort of test to use it, granting penalties if failed and escalating bonuses if succeeded by [whatever margin]?

No, that's a waste of their time. They're busy scrying active threats.
Which is why I said "separate division".
Making an entirely new institution would be kinda out of place to deal with these, unless Syrax suddenly finds herself rezzed and with a bunch of followers of course.
which is highly unlikely even by her standards.

@Azel, if nothing else, I'm seconding Goldfish's want for precautions.
She will have her own buffs ready here.
And likely some huge-ass trap cards for us to trigger.

And if not her, than the orb itself is likely to have some sort of last-measure defense.
Let's not get our guard down in face of two threats like that, yeah?

Hm, so what's the plan for all the red priests starting to worship Rhllor at heart trees once we fireproof them.

Cause the trees are probably gonna have a sick new fire paint job, and be literally immune to fire.

If the average priest doesn't view that as a huge sign of favor from the red god they probably aren't worshipping him at all.

"The Other is mocking us with this travesty" ... don't underestimate fanatics.

The Old Gods aren't really conventional gods because they get their power off blood so if they are praying to Rhllior while donating blood to the Old Gods it really is a win-win for both parties. Hell if it wasn't for slavery thing and rollers "I am the on true god" crap the two faiths could get along quite nicely.

You nod, happy to see her taking this so well, but uncertain how the hells a cat had known Tywin Lannister had been responsible for Rhaenys death. Perhaps Vee had simply told him...
As mentioned cats are smart and can figure things out, also I have to imagine he was in the room during the Sack when Tywin's men killed his family.

Simply following them he would learn who was the alpha and gain a terrible hatred for him.

Cats can totally hold a grudge, especially when loved ones are involved.

@Snowfire since you are making a character sheet would Balerion have Hatred state to those wearing Lannister colors?

@DragonParadox I think you ruled that true seeing should bypass mindblank, right?
Now we have that Cloak of Khyber spell to shut down true seeing getting through our magical disguises, but that's why we needed it in the first place, right?
Edit: Found it.
True seeing is and absolute effect, just like mind blank. I'd say in that instance TS winds out since Mind Blank is not really about shoring up illusions thematically.

What do you guys think should I do the next update tonight or do another interlude?

It's getting kind of late for me to roll complex social combat so I'm leaning towards the latter but I'm not sure what interlude to do if we go that way. Suggestions are of course welcome.

True Seeing sees though mind-bank but it does not see auras.

I'm always down for festival interludes.

Can we get a POV from the resurrected Redwyn heir who was supposed to come visit us?
