And that's why I have never, ever once told him, or anyone else, to shut up. No matter how much I want to. I can, however, express my opinion just as they can theirs.
You have a valid point but let's keep it civil and attack the argument rather than attacking the person making then whenever we can. Asking someone what they're smoking is pretty close to a personal attack imo.

WE SANDBAGGING WESTEROS NOW I GUESS. THAT WON'T GO POORLY.

Like seriously, throughout the entirety of this quest, we've been basically treating the seven kingdoms like they're exactly the same as they've always been while the rest of the world has changed due to magic. While that is true to an extent, I remember a lot of extensive interludes covering various characters in Westeros. To assume that the 'top ranked players' of Westeros are going to roll over without any major challenge is probably more arrogant than most of the assumptions Aerys made throughout his reign. Like seriously, these guys aren't jokes. They aren't gods or devils, but they're still relatively smart people that have been doing this all their lives. We literally have confirmation that Varys has been double crossing Tiamat and Hell and has been getting away with it. Why are we assuming this is going to be a cakewalk?
I would like to object to being included in that array of quotes. I'm not considering Littlefinger to be harmless, otherwise I would not see value in using him for our goals.

What I'm saying is that we know his methods, which are a result of his character, not his particular circumstances in the changed Westeros. That Varys is two-timing Mammon and Tiamat is something that surprised me very little, beyond the audacity of the act, for it's perfectly in line with established character traits for him. The same goes for Littlefinger. He will certainly have magical helpers and he will definitely use magic to his advantage, but those are just tools and circumstances. They don't change who he is as a person.

And that person? He can be manipulated. Not into productively working for us, that's hilariously foolish to assume, but that's also not what I'm proposing to do. I just want to make sure that the viper is healthy and the poison seeps in deep. An asset isn't defined by bringing benefit to you, but by bringing a net benefit against your enemies. And we can certainly make sure that this will be the case.

I find it kinda worrying that slaving bastards have access to such high level magic, though from a story standpoint makes sense they wouldn't be caught flat-footed forever.

I imagine Amrelath is going to squeeze all the information he can out of the assassin before asking Viserys promission to assault those who tried to kill him.

What is your deal with him? Every time someone gets upset or frustrated with tarrangar you leap to his defense like a sixth-grade hero protecting the shy kid from bullies. We're, or at the very least I sure ain't 'mocking' him for fun.
Well I don't consider zxzx24 a hero, a good friend though that he is, and I hope that's also how he feels about me, and wouldn't you respond if someone insulted your friend? I certainly would.

That's how I see you all, we are friends, we might disagree and argue a lot, but we also joke and have fun, and in the end we rarely stay mad at each other for long, that's what friends are in my opinion, people you want to spend time with, even if you far from always agree with them.

Hmm well he is al loyal vassal and if he wants to fight then who are we to deny him such a luxury? Though we need to expand in those areas with our spy network. I wish to know everything in that city down to how many breaths they take per day.

They are not taking Amrelath away from us!

He is a Chromatic and somewhat civilized (and a good battery for wards) and the civilazing didn't even take cutting his throat!
Even if they killed him, we would just resurrect him again, his return to life mean his resurrection timer has reset, so if he get killed normal resurrection spells work.

Sure depending on how they killed him, it might take a little work, but unless they do something like feeding him to Yss, I'm sure we can figure out how to undo it.

What is it about me that grind on your nerves? Because I'm not trying to piss anyone off, I just have my own opinions no matter how illogical they are, and I can be kind of bad at the whole picking up social clues, what with the fact that I'm autistic(and of course the fact that text communication is always harder to pick up clues in, and when you are all from different countries your culture is subtly different.)
I'm never going to tell you that your opinions are bad and that you shouldn't express them, because that's both morally and logically wrong. The whole thing was really just me personally being annoyed by your conduct, both here and in prior incidents. It was immature of me to express that, and mostly happened because I was in a sour mood and your fusillade of posts just ground on my nerves at a bad moment.

I would really like to not go crazy over this incident with Amrelath and stop further escalation in Slavers Bay. We are already pressing them more then hard enough as is and we don't have the troops or preparation do move decisively against them.

Yeah but I would like to know how my conduct is annoying precisely, I can't promise to change it, but I can't even try if I don't know what to change.

Not that I got all that hurt by your comment about what I was smoking, that was fine with me, but I like discussing things with you, and do consider you a friend, so far as you can someone you have only chatted with on the internet, so I do feel kind of bad if that feeling isn't mutual, and more importantly, would like to know, how to try to make talking with me pleasant for both of us.

The spel on the assassin's arrows has been rightfully ret-coned to disintegrate since @Duesal rightfully pointed out that slay living would have been resisted by the soulfire bracers. Th save would have been the same, just a fluff change.

Good night guys.
Why change it? They should not have known what the bracers did anyways. When you become immune to something, your enemies shouldn't automatically know and adjust their tactics.

It's really late for DP. If he kept the spell the same he'd have to go in and actively edit the paragraphs to make the spell bounce off rather than have Amrelath desperately overcome it. It's just easier this way.

So I can't speak for anyone else and considering I lurk most of the time I might be completely off the mark, but your stubbornness in arguing for your desired outcome might be part of the reason. My suggestion would be to drop a topic after 2-3 arguments with different people in the thread because at that point you're probably talking around each other and there should be enough info about your idea for people to decide if they want to support it. I understand that you're passionate about certain things, but sometimes it's better to pick your battles.

I could try to limit it, though I don't think I could limit it to 2-3 arguments, but I could try to after the first 2-3 comments on the topic, try to wait 15-30 minutes between posting more, so I'm not making the same argument multiple times formulated differently, because multiple people argued against it, and I feel compelled to answer every one.

That's probably a big part of my problem, when multiple people are responding to my arguments, even if they are pretty much saying the same thing, I feel compelled to answer all of them, I could try to make that compulsion less annoying, by waiting longer between posting in such situations, so I can fit my responses in fewer comments.

Feel free to find a ratio you feel comfortable with, the number of responses should and will vary depending on the situation. Also consolidating your responses into one general post and waiting a bit longer would help reduce the number of posts made while also getting your point across.

Ooh, nice arrows! I wonder how many are left, and how much Amrelath will want for them?

Yeah I think I like that idea, I will probably not remember it every time, but hopefully it can help me a bit, with the whole cluttering the thread with arguments and annoying people.
