@DragonParadox, I was asleep and couldn't push these into the plan.
Here's the stuff we voted on doing some time ago, the stuff very much related to Planar trade:
[] Start the approval process for setting up the shrines of Yss in Ammun Khellisk and Opaline Vault.
[] When Visiting Ammun Khellisk for your business venrtures, visit the Air-weavers of Jinn and learn what they found within the Heart of Ice, given to them months ago.
-[] Also spend some time to hire bards in Ammun Khellisk.
[] When visiting Opaline Vault, take some time to learn what have Shaitan gotten out of the soul-gem we got them... And the prisoner of Efreeti tower we broke out for them.
-[] In addition, also check with house Adjar if they have Silver Bell seeds now.
-[] Try to find metal-clad template creatures.
And maaaaaybe this.
-[] Also attempt to find more on elusive Gith, of whose enimity to Illithid you've been informed, yet you have little idea what people they are... and if they are worth the trouble of calling upon to deal with enemies on yourplane.

some people want that, but some are against that too.
It feels kinda bad to not have added this to "keep the track of things"-ultimate-plan.
Kudos @everyone, that thing is a best.
An adult T-Rex with the agility of a hummingbird and a fear aura that makes mortal creatures shut their pants and run (dive?) as soon as he gets close.
I think when you have something the size of a t rex with the agility of a hummingbird, the fear aura becomes sort of unnecessary for any reasonable person.
As I said earlier, it seems especially relevant to do research on potential allies against the Illithids when we just received IC musings from Viserys that all their depredations so far are them holding back. The only information we have so far is the default lore, and one comment that they can be a little overzealous. We have no idea what that actually means--they could simply err on the side of killing anyone tainted, or they could burn every village that harbored one, or anything in between. We need information to be able to make a good decision here.
(As an aside, do we have any idea how much fodder the Deep Ones could throw at us if they cared to? Or how many lower level abberations there are? If not, seems like a good thing to divine; they can't be mind blanked all the time)

Kinda sorta, we got told that the research was completed, but we didn't actually get the hard numbers.
IC we know them of course, but OOC, we still need to know how many gems can be safely harvested, how often it's safe to harvest, what skills and spells the harvester absolutely must have, and how long it take to do a harvest(to determine how many Whales 1 harvester can be assigned to.)
@DragonParadox Friendly reminder that you still need to edit that info into the interlude.
No, I got his point just fine and merely pointed out that all dragons get fear auras for shits and giggles.
And that even the house sized, multiheaded pile of VS, animated by Wildfyre got one. Nevermind that anyone in their right mind would run like hell when seeing him.
I'm not sure why, but the 2nd place prize for the melee competition isn't showing up in the tallied vote, even though it's in my plan. I just ran the tally again and it still isn't showing up for some reason...
Can you threadmark the plan itself for reference purposes? I have a feeling we'll be coming back to it throughout the month.
EDIT: I just ran the tally again and now the 3rd place prize is missing, too!
Though the demon's insult stings you do not show it. Instead you smile with every evidence of good cheer: "I think a bottle will suit you quite well..." At your words light flashes in Dany's hands, drawing a pained wail from the demon, its fearful form nothing but tatters of blackness against the stone.
Unhurriedly you reach across the rune carved line and grasp with fingers made certain by sorcery, the ethereal substance of the Shadow Demon spins into black threads, and with a final curse it retreats into the bottle in your hand. "Here," you hand it to Maelor. "This way you can talk to it without having to look at it."
The boy smiles and pockets the murk-filed glass. "Assumin' it'll even want to talk to me that way."
"Lie, promise its freedom in exchange for truth," Malarys suggests. "For all their skills at deception, tanar'ri are not beyond being snared in it themselves."
Maelor laughs. "Aren't you supposed to be the head lawman or something?"
"The demon is not a citizen of the realm nor does it seem likely it will become one in the near future," comes the mage lord's reply, a thread of humor beneath the words.
"I think we can put off expending the realm into the Endless Abyss, yes. For now I am more concerned with what might lie far closer to home... the Shadow and the rakshasa." So do you speak the words, that stone and spirit command the presence of a dark spirit whose name you had plucked from dead lips, not a great warrior or sage of that accursed kindred but a lesser one, a shard of broken malevolence, raktavarna.
Emptiness beyond light, beyond color surges around you swallowing the world...
Time itself seems to shudder and die in the terrible void...
"You think to sell your soul to me, little mortal?"The voice that fills your mind then could almost be mistaken for your own. Yet it it is all at once a howling gale over a lifeless desert, the wail of despair at the end of all things. "I do not buy men's souls, they give themselves to Me..."
You can feel the thing trying to worm itself inside your mind, slowed but not halted by the weight of the crown. Shock fades into determination and in your thoughts there is no doubt, no fear, only a ring of flame unbroken by the darkness, a fortress in the night.
The hollow thing recedes from your awareness as swift as it had come, leaving behind only the faint taste of bitterness and rage, of hateful recognition. As your senses return you hear a clatter of metal on stone, you hear a startled hiss. A silvery serpentine fiend looks up at you with surprise and speaks words you had not expected in the tongue of dragons, though it comes stumblingly to its lips: "Lord, you have freed me. What is your will?"
"First, answer my questions," you answer, still regaining your balance. You can see the others want to know what had transpired, but they forbear from asking for the moment. You squeeze Dany's hand as she silently slips it into yours, then continue. "What did I free you from? What lies under the Shadow east of Asshai?"
"Why the Empire, lord," the sinuous fiend answers. "The Dominion of the Bloodstone-Throne-Which-Knows-No-Rival, the Lordship of the Son of Darkness Who is Like Unto the Gods..."
"Enough," you cut it off. "I have little interest in hearing the self-aggrandizing titles of one I have fought and bested in the domains of the mind. Is this Bloodstone Emperor the one of whom legends tell, the one who ushered in the Long Night and set loose murder and madness on the earth?" The Great Empire of the Dawn, could some remnant of it endure, shrouded in darkness, twisted by eons of curdled wickedness? The thought is at once daunting and exciting. What might there be to learn in those tarnished reliquaries and ancient libraries that harken back to the world's beginning?
"Madness?" the fiend hisses. "Is it madness to dwell in supplication of the gods only because they are mighty, to call them wise and just for fear of their wrath? Say rather that he wished to set the world aright, to climb that peak which had been forbidden."
"Yet you thanked my brother for freeing you," Dany interjects. "Were you a slave?" Her tone is hard, though even now you can hear the smallest trace of pity to it.
"We are all slaves to the circle, to those who have ascended beyond us in the Dance of Darkness..." A sly smile twists the fiend's features, making it seem all that much more disturbingly human. "All save I. I was not sent forth but torn loose, and so I may carve my own path. Tell me, lord, will you take my oath?"
What do you reply?
[] Accept, even if it is mistaken about having been freed of any mystical chains, you can certainly have them broken
[] Refuse, the fiend is too petty to be worth the effort of binding into service in a manner that you would count secure
OOC: Congratulations, you just discovered the remains of the Empire of the Dawn... by metaphorically headbutting its overlord. If you did not have a Mind Blank crown the save for not having your soul ripped out of your body would have been much worse. However, to add insult to injury for the poor elder evil, Viserys crit succeeded his save, so he stonewalled the attempt.
I love the last few updates!
The quest really feels like it's powering up. We're preparing to deal with Westeros, but now the second act begins!
Illithid, Devils and Elder Evils, oh my! And the poor Sultan of Brass of course. I wonder if he'll attack us? Surely his spies will tell him that the Plane of Balance just allied against him, and we've been selling Prime Material goods that could serve as a Plane Shift focus.

Someone want to explain how the calm safe procedure to summoning demons to flense alive for their valuable skin and organs turned into headbutting a fucking god?
...I did not expect thatwhen trying to summon those Rakshasa we didn't get while at Valyria, but I'm not complaining.
Although the manner in which we learned of this shit leaves much to be desired :/
Henceforth I am not interested in summoning any Rakshasa, unless the Maharaja's skull can prove beyond shadow of doubt that they aren't going to be in service of this 'Emperor' of theirs.
The rest of Mammon's devils will do fine, at least they aren't doing anything useful, like fighting Illithid.
