I don't want to recruit him.
I'm all for raising him if his family can take care of him though.

Honestly I am of the opinion that so long as we resurrected someone right beside their closest living kin (that they have strong memories of at least) we could skirt by any potential issues. As in, worst case, they view us cautiously, but really not much, even prior beliefs and piety, can stand up to being returned to people you never thought you would see again ever in your life and who you loved, plucked from death itself and delivered safely into their arms.

Unraveling the arcane secrets of the past so that he is not at quite such a massive disadvantage compared to his trading partners.

Good thing we're not like the Shaitan, eh? Making them dependent on us and crippling their ability to achieve independence... we just make independence seem all around a shittier deal in comparison. :V

If he insists on joining us in SD, I wouldn't turn him away, but I would flat out tell him that he has gone above and beyond his duty and deserves to live in peace with his family.

Man, you'd really think Ser Darry would have come up more in the quest, seeing as he was the closest thing VIserys had to a decent father figure. I can't remember the last time he was mentioned.

I tried to get that to happen, but nobody was interested. He'd be too underleveled to be seriously useful, and apparently political and personal reasons weren't enough to overcome the hassle. At this point, if it hasn't happened by now it almost certainly won't ever, which is a damn shame.

I personally kind of forgot about him due to distance and am all in favor of raising Rad Dad. He did right by us and the best he could by us, and his death was a rather large tragedy.

Though this reminds me, what are the odds that Tywin is going to attend or send a representative to the Magic Convention with a specific agenda about his wife?

He's had access to Marids and moderate tier magic, so resurrecting the person he cares about most in the world feels like a reasonable objective for him.

@Azel - firing a couple ideas at you to see what you think. First, some sort of Grand Tourny to celebrate the unification of the Three Daughters. A way to get everyone of importance in one place in a positive environment, where we can reinforce the idea that they're now part of a bigger entity and put our top-tier diplomancy to good use, as well as fully showing off our new toys with no need to restrain ourselves in order to keep them from doing something rash. It would also serve a sop to our westerosi subjects, both in and out of our borders. It'd be good to remind everyone that since now we're well and truly invested in Essos.
This is something I wanted to address in more depth.

With the amount of mirrors finished this month, we can set up the full propaganda network for our current holdings and even the tele-lectures for the Scholarium. However, I was still mulling over how to best open the entertainment system / propaganda tool to the public. Just starting to broadcast random fights and plays felt a bit weak, but this idea here is perfect.

We can call a Imperium wide festival to commemorate the victory in this short-lived war. And with the mirrors, it becomes Imperium wide.

The circle of battle and the arenas in the Essosi cities can start everything off with good old gladiator fighting. Then, especially for our audience in Braavos, we do some plays. Then we do a good old Westerosi tourney a bit away from SD. Basically, somewhere in the Imperium, something exiting is happening every minute and it's broadcasted to all other locations.

That should get us the initial kick to fuel widespread acceptance of the concept. We can then proceed with a steady stream of propaganda, starting with a "press conference" by Viserys and the Sealord to announce the attack on Pentos.

And the best part? Thanks to the mobile mirrors, we can have live-coverage of the actual attack on Pentos. People won't need to hear stories about half a dozen dragons flying over that city to get it to surrender. They can see it with their own eyes, everywhere from the Wall to Naath, from SD to Tolos.

@TalonofAnathrax @Everyone, Thoughts?

[X] Plan Wonder Poster Powers Combine - Goldfish "Form of a Tyrannosaur!", TalonofAnathrax "Form of a Vorpal Baguette!"
-[X] Using Wind Walk, everyone will remain near enough to one another to offer aid should it be needed, while flying out into the cavern. They are careful to remain at least 40 feet in the air, well out of range of the Dispel Magic effect, while paying special attention to avoiding ambush attacks from the cavern roof above and predators down below.
--[X] Lya expends her 3rd level Mass Resist Energy spell to cast a Summon Monster III spell using her Robes of Stormy Conjuration. She summons 1d4+1 Medium-sized Fiendish Monstrous Scorpion on the asbestos cavern floor, commanding them to put at least 30 feet of distance between each scorpion.
---[X] While Lya is Summoning her bait, Viserys casts Freezing Glance.
--[X] As Xenarths and Bulettes are attracted by Lya's bait, Viserys will use Baleful Polymorph and Freezing Glance to subdue individuals, and Imperious Glare to incapacitate larger gatherings. If necessary Malarys will use Hold Monster, while Tyene and Dany will cast Chains of Light to prevent stragglers from escaping or harming previously captured monsters. Tyene will use Confusion instead of Chains of Light to prevent a group from escaping or harming captured monsters if Viserys is otherwise occupied.
---[X] If Viserys believes it is safe enough and worth the effort, this tactic is repeated up to two more times, with Lya expending a Dispel Magic spell the second time and a Thunderous Roar spell the third time.
-[X] Waymar will ready an action to Quick Cast a Dimension Door spell to transport anyone out of range if attacked by something while Viserys is out of Wings of Cover range or should the odd Dispel Magic effect threaten to strip someone's warding magic.
--[X] Should a worst case scenario unfold, such as the entire chamber becoming unstable or its magic disrupting properties running wild, everyone who is capable will attempt to use Greater Teleport to transport everyone to safety, while those with Alter Fortune prepared will use the spell as necessary to insure the success of the Teleports

So we're basically some kind of weird mixture of Viserys I Targaryen and Viserys II Targaryen. Absolute Party Fiend and Consummate Accountant and Administrator.

I'm more than a little tempted to get our Westerosi vassals in a room together as spectators for this.

This would basically just be a bunch of men getting drunk and vacillating between extremes of terror, awe and drunken hilarity.

Monford: "Sign me up!"

Yohn: "I'll try to cut them off before they kill themselves."

Eustace: "I've been almost at the cusp of death constantly for years, this is nothing."

Doran: "I have been doing nothing but drinking since I cured my gout."

Also is it just me who finds the idea of the Sealord and Doran getting into a room together awesome? Something about those two in one room plotting and scheming together gives me the weirdest combination of chills and hype. Doran seems to sort of take a distant hand with eastern matters, familiar with trade but not embroiled with it (until recently).

Those two just kinda vibe in a similar way, y'know? And the best part is for all that Doran is a feudal ruler, he's a Dornish ruler, so ruthless pragmatism reads in to Braavosi natch.

Seriously though, I would love to have a party to invite all our Westerosi vassals to.

"This is the firepower we're bringing to Westeros."

Mind you that this already happened. The two of them have met during the Concordat of Spheres and even talked a bit about trade with each other.

Which, considering those two, is likely code for talking about trade and making a few of their enemies disappear for each other.

@Duesal Did DP ever answer that question about which island in the Basilisk IslesSaan has decided to build his seat and city at?

Also, not sure if it's possible with her mechanics, but can Daenerys use Righteous Might (or similar size changing spells) while in Red Dragon dream shape to become Huge-sized?

Because then we could appear above Pentos in perfect formation with Amrelath and Dany. Which would be pretty fucking cool to capture on Mirror Vision.

Alternatively, if we can't do that, what we should do is have Viserys go Gargantuan sized, then we have Amrelath at huge sized, and Dany at large sized. :V

Wait, @Crake, found it. It was indeed Ax Isle.

According to DP, it's because it has the best harbor.

We should send baby PCs to loot Zamettar while he's securing his holdings.

@Azel We need to build up Saan's stuff on Ax Isle. Have we done anything down south with him yet? Or have we not because he just officially finished his conquest this turn?
