Way too late for a new plan but fuck it, I don't think anyone made a plan that ditched study actions for training, sneaking, and progress.
You have sneaking out twice.

Ah yes but for dramatic reasons it should be a big sign saying "Rhaenyra Targaryen" or "Rhaenyra ❤️ Alicent" with a fig leaf over it.
I think the whole point is to not give away who we are until the end, allowing us to surprise even Alicent when we name her queen of love and beauty.

A giant crushing a snake(worm) underfoot.

A shield in front of a crude map of westeros.

A depiction of the gods eye with smoke rising from behind it.

[X] Plan: Progress, City, Training

It *is* a bit late for a new plan, but I'd much rather skip poetry than the city or training, so. Sorry Alicent, I'm willing to put off becoming cultured.

I feel like skipping poetry (or music, they seem the same) is close to the same boat as skipping training in terms of being something we know will concretely move us forward with our goals (in this case, romancing Alicent), which is another core goal.

Also, I feel like if we want to be married early to increase the chance of having adult dragonrider kids of our own by the inevitable succession dispute, we want to progress things with Alicent to start having conversations about that without it being the first thing we talk with her about.

Also, we're a romantic knight in the honeymoon phase - it seems improper to go wondering around the city looking for a party while there is a fair maiden critically lacking in the being serenaded department. This will probably keep but I really don't want to be prioritizing other things because we'll get to Alicent eventually.

my main concern is that the most important action IMO passes, which is training, so I have no problem approval voting, but staking everything on a new vote ten votes behind the two in the lead is a bit much IMO.

"newest vote only" makes sense since it automatically accounts for people changing votes without requiring them to delete their previous vote prior to changing their mind

FWIW I was using a second comment without unvoting to add approval votes, without intending to get off the first vote. I edited the second comment to get off the approval votes since they're well behind, so I don't think I'm the difference maker, but other people might have been doing the same.

Not closing it yet since this has been a fairly close one but here's where things stand at the moment

Are phoenixes a thing in westeros mythology? Because a bird made of fire would be a pretty fitting way to merge the fiery targaryen side with the arryn bird side lol.

I really do wish these plan names weren't all so similar. Anyway I would really like to talk to Beesbury before setting out on the progress, but I will approval vote the second runner plan that explores the city as well.

Thinking about the tournament size thing, it might be cool and make up for low tournament sizes if we appeared in multiple tournaments as a mystery knight. If we travel all over the realm competing in tournaments during the progress, appearing as the same mystery knight character, that heightens the legend, and then when we reveal ourselves at the end it's not one tournament where we got lucky, it's tournaments all across the kingdom. It might also soften the sting to anyone who'd get offended but who isn't intractable, because it's not that we'd be making a fool of them specifically.

OTOH, this might be more intrigue intensive then we're capable of right now, the princess not showing up to watch tournaments is going to be noticed, and we're not going to have a lord in on it everywhere or indeed anywhere, except likely the Eyrie. Although our personal guard and handmaiden can be in on it, which is a boon.

It'd also mean 'ending' on where we want to do the big reveal, which means likely the Vale, which could be awkward to arrange since there won't likely be much in the ways of tournaments in the North and we were thinking of going to the Vale second.

It might be a little suspicious if a mystery knight competes only in the tournaments that follow the path of the princess's royal progress

Not that suspicious though? I imagine these things are large affairs with plenty of hangers-on. Even if everyone knows it's someone in the progress, that doesn't mean it's us.

It'd also be a collection of tourneys at which Rhaenyra is conspiciously absent.

And while it might be relatively easy to put on armor and walk into a field anonymously, finding a spot to remove the armor again after winning is rather harder.
