Did I miss something obvious where Terithillian is the no Blackjack and Hookers craftworld?
The Beacon-Forge, the Vaul-Flame.
Greatest and grandest of the Craftworlds who held Vaul as patron above all.
for one by the description it's a major craftworld like the plan in question. it doesn't just aim for a different solution to the curse, but an extreme opposite one, the kind a pair of brothers might get into a heated, pride wounding row about. it's likely Terithillian is martial given it features a hero son who could hold his own against two greater chaos servants long enough for another craft world to come to his aid, which blessed would also tie into nicely.
Let's not get ridiculous with the Aesthetics, the default is great, but let's not be adding any silly-ass memes to the table.
I agree. While fucking with Biel-tan is something I can always get behind putting berries on our vehicles is extremely weak and will be outdated the second he is dead. The true way to fuck with Biel-tan is to produce so many tanks that they'll become unnecessary as a military power.
friends, laugh more. you'll feel better, and be able to recognize a joke vote that no one else is taking all that seriously from something to make a fuss about.

Alright, unrelated tangent, but how do you all feel about developing Drone Swarms? Numbers will always be a problem for us and we can't always rely on our Farseers and superior technology to see us through. So why not develop Drone Swarms that can instantly flood the battlefield with enough firepower to stop a charging Ork Vanguard or an Imperial Blitzkrieg.

Just get a gun, slap it on a grav engine, give it a good enough sensor suite and IFF then sheath it in wraithbone. It would be cheap, cost zero lives if lost/destroyed and would be good enough to kill most enemies or at least let us reposition troops to better kill said enemies or retreat from them.

Problematic because of Chaos.

If we can work out a form of drone that isn't vulnerable to demonic possession, I'd certainly be up for it, but that's an unfortunately big if.

Pure remotes, where they never get any decision-making ability and are controlled by pilots off site, might be significantly more practical - though also not nearly as powerful.

We'll have to redevelop that technology from scratch, and it will have to be different enough from psychomata.

We can use the ever-effective and time-tested method of stealing the designs from some other guy (e.g. Humanity, Necrons).

If it's the latter we have nothing to worry about in regards to chaos corruption, if it's the former we can probably engrave several runes and wards to the drone and other standard psychic defences we have and that would make it much safer than the standard human designs by an order of magnitude at least (I refuse to believe that the literally most advanced psychic species in the galaxy is somehow worse at keeping Chaos corruption at bay than the Imperium.)

Of course, as mentioned, we can also just redevelop it from scratch, which would be the most time-consuming but would otherwise provide the most benefit and the least amount of drawbacks.

The Tau despite being pretty drone happy don't seem to have issues with Chaos subverting them.

There is even a notable instance on Lexicanum where their stealth drones were pivotal in siezing air superiority from the plague drones that were being employed by Nurglite Chaos Space Marines.
Article:
In 998.M41 Ke'lshan again came under attack, this time from the Chaos Space Marines known as The Purge. The Nurgle Worshiping traitor Astartes attempt to convert the planets atmosphere into a corrosive poison to cleanse it of all life. However they are foiled by Sho'Aun and his Remora Drone Stealth Fighters, which cleanse the skies of the Sept of Blight Drones.[6]

Of course those are Tau drones which probably aren't reliant on psykers like Eldar psychomata are so we'd need to do a bunch of Seeker actions to figure those out.

Another thing to note is that the Admech also have drones in the form of Servo-Automata during the Horus Heresy era so the Tau aren't unique in their use of drones.
Article:
Servo-Automata are a type of logistical robot used by the Imperium.[1]

Unlike Servitors, these servants are mechanical rather than biological in origin. They are equipped with Servo-arms and frequently accompany Enginseers.[1]

We could also just use remote control piloting rather than relying on AI to control the drone.

But it depends on what eldar computation technology is actually like.

The thing about drones and robots being more in danger of being chaos possessed than biological people I think has pretty much no actual proofs IC with the material we have*.

*see the "new" faction for one of the best examples that robots and Ai do perfectly fine / as a counter proof

I suspect that the brothers argument may have been about who gets to keep the best goodies...
doubtful. I think it may have been more philosophical than that. specifically, given the description...

I think they're disagreements may have been over how to deal with the curse, with his brother being the opposite extreme, and a certain Martial or peaceful bent one of their adopted homes embraced.
Their split was pre-Fall, implied to be quite a long time pre-Fall even, so it probably wasn't anything to do with either of those options. Considering the characters in question are based off the leadership of the Noldor, it was probably a more personal/"who gets to be in charge" issue.

Incidentally, back during the meeting we got this from the nephew:
Arek-vet looked pained. "I do not know, uncle. I and my host became separated in the chaos, and very nearly did not escape-" his finger traced the scar from cheek to chin, seemingly unconsciously, "-but those of Lal'c-Tann came to our aid, and in the confusion I and Ferin'Elt, who leads Lal'c-Tann now, slew a pair of the Soul-drinker's greater servants together, after the two nearly had me. I came in part in hopes that I might find word of him or of Val-Ven'lys, but found you instead—and precious little on my father's fate, or that of Val-Ven'lys. I will urge, I think, Ferin'Elt to consider aligning himself with this coalition you have been building, uncle—as I have taken oaths to aid him in securing Lal'c-Tann's future, he has taken oaths to aid my search for my father"
implying that the Craftworld "our" half-brother was likely to be aboard was Val-Ven'lys.
Now the option we have
[ ] Lal'c-Tann | Oaths of Brootherhood
The host of Lal'c-Tann, it seems, came to the aid of Arek-Vet, nephew of Aresh-Vul, after he and his host were cut off from that of his own father, right in the nick of time—had they been a second later, Arek-Vet would be dead; yet together he and Ferin'Elt, lord of Lal'c-Tann, slew the two Keepers of Secrets that had nearly killed him. Following that feat, the two have sworn oaths of brotherhood, and what remains of Arek-Vet's host now bases itself on Lal'c-Tann as they search for his father…
…And Terithillian.
The Beacon-Forge, the Vaul-Flame.
Greatest and grandest of the Craftworlds who held Vaul as patron above all.
Drawing Lal'c-Tann into your orbit, then, will be simple, for though Aresh-Vul and his brother Aerin-Vel are long estranged, Arek-Vet and Geil-Vad have a fast friendship, and with the horror of the Fall to temper him, Aresh-Vul finds that the thought of reconciliation with his brother more palatable than his younger self might have believed, and so learning of his fate is of great concern…
mentions searching for the half-brother (now named as FingolfinAerin-Vel) and also for Terithillian. No mention of Val-Ven'lys. Not sure if this is a QM mixup, a retcon Mechanis forgot to edit the earlier post for, or if the great craftworld Terithillian isn't the suspected location of Aerin-Vel but the target of those "oaths to aid him in securing Lal'c-Tann's future" and these are two different subquests.

No intelligence in the drone, just a simple set of instructions, and a fatescope in the launcher to program the target.

I want my silmarillion references.

Can't settle on a vote for command composition. I think Khaine's priesthood makes most sence michanically: warpriests are great to put into assault detachments and at the head of the warhost it allows us ignore critfails which is probably the main way overarmored and overgunned vulkhari can be killed. But I don't like it narratively. I'll let this one work out and then work with what the result is.

NB Warseer Captain is an insane force multiplier for overgunned detachments. Make one with 10 superheavy guns and suddenly they just don't miss.

High quality leadership in general is pretty stupid on a detachment that have a lot of armored vehicles in it.

I think with all 4 HQ slots filled out you can still stuff ~210 vehicles into a single detachment if you set stuff up correctly with the slots + vehicle designs.

That kind of detachment is just stupidly powerful when directly boosted.

The Warseer Commander is on pretty much all of the leading plans, so I think we can be pretty confident of getting them.

We're also taking an Organize Troops action this turn; as I recall it, part of the point behind that was to quickly free up a bunch of Bladedancers in the hopes it'd unlock Bladedancer Armor research and to get them off the front lines. We could free up some Warseers at the same time, and start training Warseer Commanders next turn; that might actually get a batch done in time to have them along on Durran Fellwinter's Ork Hunt, which should get them a bunch of practical experience in a relatively safe environment.

Edit: All of our existing Warseers are committed to Mechanized HQ Detachments. That's awkward; those only exist in some of our most Hearthguard-heavy Warhosts, and at a quick look don't have much overlap with the Bladedancers we want to be taking off the lines.

Warpriest lines are a bit wasted on armored detachments, these don't get scared that much. As for the rest, Force leaders are really good on fast detachments allowing them to regroup and attack again, and Warsingers are a bit wasted on dumb heavy detachments that don't do complex tactical stuff and just break enemy lines instead.
