[X] [ITHILMAR] Precious Stones
[ ] [ITHILMAR] Middenland Crowns
[ ] [ITHILMAR] Trade Goods
[ ] [ITHILMAR] Barter (specify what)
Precious Stones still has my preference, because I'm one of the people who likes to buy magical knick-knacks and historical artefacts when possible. Boney just makes them too interesting for me to resist. And I don't care about backlogs. I've explained it before, it doesn't matter how long it takes for us to actually look at our loot, we'll do it eventually. We finally did the Ghyran Nut, and it got us a Big Tree! Who can argue with a Big Tree? If we didn't have money on hand at the time, we wouldn't have a Big Tree now, so I want money on hand when we go to Elf Country.
Middenland Crowns would be acceptable too, I guess, it's still money on hand, if not as good for Elf Country. It may integrate Laurelorn more into the Empire economy? That's neat, I suppose.
Trade Goods would make the EIC more powerful. Yay? I don't particularly care about the EIC. I don't hate it or want to completely give up our association with, but it doesn't excite me. It also doesn't get us money on hand for Elf Country, so meh.
Barter is something that could be interesting, but none of the suggestions currently given are interesting to me. A generic Bilbo-shirt (love that description) doesn't excite me at all. If it were a special magical item with a story attached, maybe, but not 'better armor' as such. A non-armor artefact could also be interesting, but that would probably require Boney to come up with one, and we can't really ask him to do that for this. As for books ... I like books, I like the library well enough, but I don't know if I want to spend our big bucks on books this time.
[ ] Swordplay
Test your novel swordfighting style against the swordsmen of Tor Lithanel.
Don't care about swording.
[X] Niedzwenka
Ask Baba Niedzwenka how she feels about the new Tzar, and about the political landscape of Kislev in general.
Baba Niedzwenka is awesome, and our ... meddling could use some more evaluating.
[X] Sarvoi
Try to figure out if the Elves use the same Apparition-based spells that the Colleges do, and find out what the Elven perspective on that sort of thing is.
I love Sarvoi, and Apparations are cool.
[X] The Festival Lord
The Eonir are holding a festival of games dedicated to Asuryan, the winner of which will ascend to (or remain on) the ruling Triumvirate of Laurelorn. Mathilde isn't at all allowed to participate, but she could watch.
Elf Olympics! Johann will probably be there to cheer on Kadoh. Also, Laurelorn politics?
[ ] Okri
You've met Loremaster Okri of Karak Eight Peaks once before. Pay him a visit and see how his great ambitions for heavily-armed Ironbreakers delivered by Gyrocarriage are going.
Not that interested, and we can probably do it later, not that I'm very likely to ever vote for it.
[X] Initiate
For the first time, a child born in Karag Nar has shown a capability of using magic. It is the duty of a Wizard to ascertain their suitability to join one of the Orders of Magic.
This is one of those things I really want to do, even though I'm not sure why. General excitement for magic?
[X] Middenland
See how the Ulricans are going with their new Eonir coreligionists.
It's gonna happen, I can feel it. One of these days, it's gonna happen.
[ ] Wissenland
Though the Elector Count is his usual self, some of their actions recently have hinted at the hand of someone a great deal defter. Investigate who took the job of his Spymaster after you turned it down.
Maybe some day in the future I will vote for this, not this time though.
[ ] Druchii Diplomats
Check in on these unexpected visitors to Tor Lithanel.
Now that we have Ulthuan on board(-ish) with the Waystones, I'm not sure what I'd really want to talk about with them.
[X] Reading on Nehekhara
You recently acquired a great many Dwarven books on Nehekhara, including ones written in the direct aftermath of the Great Ritual by Dwarves who had known the Nehekharans when they still lived. It's unlikely your official duties will ever require you to delve too deeply into the topic, so the only way to indulge your curiosity is to dedicate some of your leisure time to the task.
I like Nehekhara, we should totally go on that trip with Egrimm. Also, Dwarf perspective? Don't expect this to win.
[X] Dooming and Quickening
There will be rites and celebrations for Prince Mandred entering adulthood. Be present for them, and perform others that are pleasing to his true patron.
He's our godson, and Ranald shenanigans are fun.
[X] Witch Hunter
There's apparently some sort of Witch Hunter snooping around Gretel's lands. She'd absolutely be capable of dealing with it, but you'd be able to do so faster and would have more fun doing it.
Not sure about this, but why not include it.
[ ] Amber College
Check in on the salamanders.
I think the amount I care about this is negative.
[X] Skull River Ambush
Look into the investigation of the mining of the Skull River, and any consequences of it.
This is a loose end I would like to check out.
[ ] Kalashiniviks
Investigate the fate of the Kalashiniviks, who were made a scapegoat for the death of the Tzar.
Maybe vampires, maybe in the future.
[X] Entrance Examination
Dragomas is forming a panel of eight Wizards from the eight Orders to determine the most suitable fit for a certain child of nobility. Be the Grey Order's representative on that panel.
A momentous occasion where we can be important, or at least seem important, and then secretly be the deciding voice anyway since Heidi trusts us.
[ ] Orb Reveal
If you don't feel like waiting until you finish writing the book on how, you can make your grand reveal of the Orbs of Sorcery you created to the Colleges now.
Nah, not yet. Accidentally left it in my list in my previous post before editing it out, but no, I'm waiting for the book.
