I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

I can not imagine anything that would show just how he cares for them AND trusts them then this. No idea how the other Runelords of the Adamant will react though..... *shrug* Oh well ^^

Its a thing between Master and Apprentice so while they can grumble about Snorri spoiling them they really cant do anything legally since Master Apprenticeship is Sacrosanct in Dwarf Civiliztion.

Hell Masters or Apprentice breaking those oaths is a big reason for the trauma in Grom. Since I remember Valkas brothers being killed by their own master.

I just want to say this is not a race becouse if it was one we woud have alread lost it becouse of how long we didn't do it i can't think of a other drwarf that wouldn't go tunnel vision if they would get a riddle from thungni

I am interested what thungi would think if he know how long we didn't try to solve it

Depends a lot on what he thinks of what we've done in the mean time, and given that stuff has led to ESP and involves ESP and Durin's Consternation.

If I put myself in his position, i'd grumble and say "precocious beardling foolishness" and then let it lie because it is kinda funny. Can't say if he'd actually say that though.

It turns out that none of the apprentices bothered trying to get Voidstone, because they would have to compete with Snorri's agents.

Ain't no one got timemoney for that.

This is Snorri's test alone, imo. And I'd prefer to have someone to keep an eye on runeschool.

I can totally see Snorri asking the temple of Thungi's dad to keep the hammer for safekeeping while also allowing Only but also all of Runelords to gaze upon it, while not in use.
Cause he would hate to keep it in Khaz. too much implications.
Instead it would be closer to : I'm it's weilder, not the owner. and something about returnig it to proper owner by proxy or sumthin.
interpretations?
