Blackhand back at it again with the messed up stuff he did in the past coming back to make him feel like shit.

Also this Weapon thing sounds like a conceptual thing, I get that impression due to the name.

[X] Talk to Stigmar

"Blackhand?" Hasvir mutters to himself as his eyes linger on you, curiosity burning a hole through your head.

...Well, shit.

"Please do," you nod eagerly before turning your mind back to the previous topic, "but, Drysalt?"

Hadingshero's grimace nearly breaks your heart as he sighs, "Do you know what 'The Weapon' is?"

"The Weapon?" Hasvir's eyes gleam with greed as he leans in. "Do tell."

"Well, The Weapon is able to kill anything, though that's all I know about it." Hadingshero purses his lips as he searches for the right words, "And, you know how a seal is only as strong as the lock, right? Well, I used the strongest thing I had on hand to lock Drysalt away. If you want to defeat Drysalt the way I did it, you're going to have to either find the part I used or a new one."

"Do you know where we could find a piece?" It's a long shot, but it's a question with no downsides to asking.

"I believe that Tyrfing bears a piece of The Weapon in it's make," Hadingshero sighs as he shakes his head, "Unfortunately, that's all I know regarding The Weapon. Knowing Drysalt, he's likely taken the piece from where I'd used it."

Tyrfing, huh? Yeah, that sounds about right...

Interesting. Seems like many of these plotlines may converge - claiming a piece of the Weapon may ties into both the Vestfold and Drysalt plot arcs, it looks like.

@Imperial Fister, can we reasonably assume that the sealing itself is something Halla already basically knows how to do from her knowledge of Seidr? Just wanted to check since he didn't like, give us a recipe for how to do that, but I'd assume it's because that part is not actually especially secret knowledge.

OOOHHHH! I just realized something! We were told that Odr cultivation has 2 major forms. Farm or Boat soul. Does where an Einharjar go to determine which form of Odr cultivation they're more likely to use?

Sad we missed out on the family time after Hasvir, but oh well.
At least we know Drysalz has a part of the weapon, which is.... Really damn scarry.
We also know Hasvir the younger knows about it now and also Blackhand.
Surprised Hasvir the older noticed Blackhand though, but I guess he spoke while we had eye contact with Hasvir the older....

The news about Horra must be hard for both of them to process....

I wonder if the Weapon is either:
A. The weapon that Odin used to kill Ymir.
B. The weapon that will kill the 'Enemy' once and for all.

My personal pet theory is the Weapon is just rhe first rock someone beat something over the head with, thus making it the metaphysical first weapon and giving it all kinds of weight and magic.

My cracky theories are that it's pieces of Excalibur (one translation of the name is Cut-Steel) and/or a weapon made out of Steel which was never corrupted by Hisi's venom.

Hmm, if we somehow manage to assemble the entire weapon, I wonder if that will be enough to kill Drysalt. Its probably not something we will manage in 3 years, but an interesting thought.

Actually, maybe we can get enough pieces and that will suffice. But that's still a long shot

IF has stated previously that any life where we get even a single piece he considers a success. So while we may get a piece this life, getting the whole thing is probably not in the cards...that's 'won all of NQ' territory, I think.

"Yes," Hasvir nods with solemn serenity as two of his fingertips poke together, "I accidentally spilled Ragnar Ultradeathkill's martini during mud volleyball last week and hadn't yet had a chance to apologize."

Ha ha ha ha 🤣

What did this Ragnar guy do to earn that kenning?

"Oh, hey Blackhand! Didn't see you there!" Hadingshero's grin fades as you stare. "...What? Is there something on my face?"

'You're... not angry?' Blackhand winces as he waits for a response.

Hadingshero shrugs, "I've had a few decades and a dozen-or-so-thousands of deaths to get over it."

Hasvir Hadingshero fucks left to give = 0

"How did you do it?" You ask as coffee flows down your throat, "and where do you get this 'coffee' from?"

"You like it?" He grins as he pours your another cup, "I'm not super sure where it comes from, but I can have the cats prepare a package for you to take back."

So, Halla can now plant coffe in her fields?

I am both incredibly pleased by this development, and incredibly worried abaout what chaos making her even more hyperactive will cause.

So, now we know abaout 4 parts of the Weapon.

1) In the hands of Bram Ironjaw.

2) In possession of either Dorri Rattlespear or Drysalt, hidden in the Hading Valley.

3) Hidden in Vestfold.

4) Forged inside the sword Tyrfing.

If she actually has ADHD as implied, it will likely mellow her out. Stimulants generally have that effect on people with ADHD.

I believe the one in Vestfold is, in fact, Tyrfing.
